1. By definition a Christian is not just one who is a church goer but one who follows the way of Christ

As we can tell, the name Christian was coined by those who observed the disciples in Antioch behaved and lived like Jesus Christ.

So to be a Christian has nothing to do with your denomination or profession but your way of life and manifest presence of the power of God in your life.

2. Another dichotomy in Christianity is that God's promise to Abraham was that through him the whole world would be saved. Jews and Gentiles alike.
Jesus during his time on earth was sent only to the Jews. And he avoided the Gentiles as much as possible.
But he also taught his disciples that He would send the Holyspirit to teach them things they were unable to bear until he died and resurrected.
Meaning as important as the gospels of Jesus Christ were, the teachings of the Apostles are probably more important. Why? Because they taught the thing Jesus was limited to teach.
The result of this being that God made Peter the apostle to the Jews and Paul the apostle to the Gentiles. Hence there are 2 different gospels in the bible- the gospel to the circumcised Jews and gospel to the uncircumcised Gentiles 2:8

One of the popular christian axioms is that God never makes mistakes. In fact there are worship songs about this.
Even though we can see that obviously God made several mistakes.
Interestingly at no point in the bible did God say he never makes mistakes. But some motivational pastors have always preached this.

Let us list the undeniable mistakes God made as accounted in the bible.
Note that this is in no way to diminish God's omnipotence, omnipresence and omniscience.
Just to let us come to the truth as written in the bible after all Christ declared himself as the Way, the Truth and the Life.

1. Mistake in the Garden of Eden:
When God created the Garden of Eden and placed the tree of knowledge of good and evil and tree of life in the same garden.
According to God, if Adam and Eve had eaten of the tree of life after eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil man would have remained eternally in the sinful state.
If you ask me, even evicting Adam and Eve from the Garden did not solve the problem as man has remained eternally in a sinful state. Which is why Jesus was sent to redeem man into eternal life.

2. Creating and Elevating Lucifer
Lucifer according to the bible is who is today known as Satan. Before he became known as Satan, he was one of the primary arch angel meaning he was one of the Angels closest to God and he led God's army, worship, etc.
After elevating Lucifer, at some point the bible says iniquity was found in him and he wanted to be God.
God obviously did not see that coming.

3. Mistake of Creating man in the first place. Genesis 6:5-7
Though details of this cannot really be found in the bible but God supposedly created man because his earlier creation which are Angels (especially Lucifer and his supporting angels) had failed him.
God supposedly created man to prove to Angels that he could have people worship him out of freewill.
Why did God eventually destroy the earth and preserve Noah and his family?
It was because God regretted creating man in the first place.

4. Mistake of the Promised Child
After the Adam and Eve fell from glory by eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, God cursed the serpent and promised to send a child that would crush the serpent though the devil would bruise his heels.
God sent so many to fulfill this promise, from Seth to Isaac, Samson, etc but it never worked.
This failure continued until God sends Himself in human form who we call the only begotten son Jesus Christ.

5. Mistake of Freewill
Apparently the story of man's continued disobedience to God can be attributed to one simple factor, Freewill.
God supposedly gave man freewill because he did not want to force man to love him. He wanted to have a relationship with man as Father and Son unlike with the Angels. Yet it is this that has made God lose the power to redeem man because man's will is inclined to continue in sin and hedonism than piety and holiness.

6. Mistake of Religion
God created man to have a relationship with him.
Yet to achieve this God had to select certain fathers of faith as they are called to establish a religion. First with Noah (the Noic laws) then with Abraham (Abrahamic laws) and then Moses (Mosaic laws) before finally sending Jesus to uphold the laws but then establish a new law of love.
Religion is very dogmatic. Even though Christian's have been taught that Chris established a new law of love which his disciples and apostles preached, man has already gotten hooked to the religious laws that those who make money of the laws will never let it go.
Hence why there are various factions of Christianity and other religions.

7. Mistake of Methodology of Salvation
Christianity is the acceptance that God sent his only begotten son who had never committed any sin to be killed and sacrificed for the sins of mankind.
Yet after the sacrifice of Christ, sin still abounds and even multiplying exponentially.
Would it not have been easier for God to simply killthe source of sin which is Satan and his demons/angels? Just saying.

Which Is More Potent? Fasting Or Midnight Prayers?

In my spiritual life, fasting has proven itself to be by far more potent and powerful, even though i still observe both.

A times I may be doing midnight prayers for months, but certain things I pray for wouldn't materialize.

But once I just fast for a little while, immediately the solution would just come out of nowhere as though it's been waiting for me to fast.

This has happened on several occasions that it's made me to take serious notice, and to begin to rate it more than midnight prayers, even though I also receive a lot of answers from prayers, because fasting seems to have a significant edge over it.

I first noticed how effective it was when during my fasting at a point when I was still struggling with sexual lusts, how the inclination just seemed to disappear during the period I was fasting, it felt really strange because this was something that I found very difficult to contain regardless of how much I prayed and when I prayed.

Even when it comes to dealing with those of the powers of darkness, fasting has shown itself to be more much powerful than midnight prayers.

For instance, despite that i had been told I had been given authority over the demons, there were yet some NL witches that were proving very stubborn even after and when I did midnight prayers. But once I just fast, the way they suddenly go into hiding is mind blowing. I mean they literally disappear for a long time and only come out after a while.

This is perhaps the reason Jesus said that there are some kind of demons that cannot come out without fasting. Mark 9:29 (KJV)

I don't know about you, but fasting has proven itself to be a very effective and useful weapon in my spiritual life, that even things I thought were impossible and beyond my reach, it helped me to achieve. It seems to speed up the process of my getting solutions and answers.

I recommend fasting to you, even if you do midnight prayers. It may provide the much needed boost your spiritual life has been crying out for.

Anyway, fasting simply helps you discipline your flesh inclinations as you become more sensitive when you fast. Even your spiritual antenna pick up more signals when you fast.

Midnight prayer or day time is not the point. All we can learn from Jesus in the bible is that his prayers were regardless of time of the day, he simply avoided distractions and tried to find an isolated place to commune with God.
Midnight proves more effective simply because there are less distractions by midnight.
But for someone whose room is next to a club house, I can assure you that day time is more effective.

While Reno's argument is valid, it's also important to know that experts in the music industry understand what works.
Her rebranding (sex appeal) is definitely going to make her appeal to the male demographic especially.

Reno's point is simply that due to her mode of discovery, the rebranding was unnecessary. Which is probably true.

Honestly I dont think her voice is extraordinary, judging from her videos. Hence why her new management is employing the modus operandi that works. Which is not only depending on her talent alone but also on her sex appeal.

My argument was never to be generic in saying all female musicians capitalise on their sex appeal to sell their art.

Jesus never started a group called Jehovah's witnesses.
Even the Apostles never started any group called Jehovah's witnesses.

In fact they avoided naming their sect so much that they only described it as The Way. Acts 9:2

The founders of Jehovah's witness just like every other denomination simply named their church after a verse they read and connected with. Hence Acts 1:8

Mind you the verse never mentioned Jehovah's witness. It simply said once the Christian's received the Holyspirit they would become witness of Him.

This is what your organisation was named after.

Now it does not mean God established a group called Jehovah's witnesses.
Ir simply means the founder of your organisation connected with Acts 1:8 and decided to name your church so.

Witnesses of Christ are way beyond any organisation, denomination or sect. The true witnesses of of Christ are those who follow The Way of Christ.

The church I am attending presently has helped me conquer lying and taught me to always say the truth. It has also helped me to value integrity and dislike malpractice. God used them to help me.

The truth is Christianity is a growth process.

There will be a time in your growth process when God needs to deliver you from greed, materialism and other vices. Doesn't mean Godis against being rich or enjoying the good things he created.

Then there will be a time when God will trust you be able handle those materialistic things because you have learnt the lessons he needed to teach you.
Of course I don't mean it's the same way for everyone.

My guess is he made a doctrine while still in his growth process that has now begun to haunt him now that he has grown and knows better.

Living a perfect christian life is hard but it's possible. To some, the christian life is easy probably because of their wealth, nice cars, beautiful houses etc. Our human needs too makes christianity hard too. e.g our need 4 money, happy marriage, children, happy home, good job etc.

Hardship, poverty, childlessness, marital delay, broken home etc, make it difficult too for one to live a perfect christian life.

In summary, living a perfect christian life as a human (having a flesh and blood) is really hard but it's possible. It's neither easier 4 the rich but it's more harder 4 the poor. My own point of view.
