Believe me people actually hear from God. The fact is the holy spirit will deal with you based on your personal need and if getting to the church on time is Adeboyes need the holy spirit will guide him to avoid traffic. When I was doing my masters program the holy spirit revealed all the questions that came out in the exams to me. I didn't see anything but I just knew exactly what will come out and what to read and it came out exactly like that. The temptation to be proud comes to many Christians. Pride comes in various ways. It could be silent or it could be loud. Some people who look humble are proud because they intentionally want others to see how humble they are. For instance, if you are rich or famous, and you greet someone by bowing down, all in the name of showing people that a rich or famous person like you is bowing down, then that's not humility, but a "humility for show"... Humility should come from within, without trying to use it to impress others.

Pride can come in different forms: it could be pride of your tribe, pride of achievement, pride of beauty, pride of anointing, pride of preaching good, pride of a successful relationship etc. While there is positive pride e.g be proud of a football team winning a trophy, being proud of someone's good character etc, most other pride are negative.

Pride has made many people miss opportunities. Pride has made many men or women loose potential spouse. Pride has made many people go from grace to grass. Pride has made many people suffer without seeking for solutions. Pride has made many people miss precious seasons of life.

One way to deal with pride is to regularly thank God for what He has done for you, constantly worship God, constantly monitor any tendency of pride and deal with it.

Are you proud? Tell God to give you grace to remain humble.

Armed robbers burgled our apartment on Wednesday 9th Sept at around 9pm. It rained heavily and I was indoor when I heard a knock and reached out to the door to see who was knocking. About three men came in, armed with a local pistol and cutlasses
After about 10 minutes harassment, they took away my phone, and some cash I had left with me. They went away a motorcycle which I usually use to source for cocoa beans in farm settlements. I reported the case to the police immediately in the morning, but nothing is really happening since then. Everything I have is gone, including the motorbike which serve as my only means and source of income. Things are just unbearable since Thursday morning with me and my family.

My wife, after she had successful cs, she is placed on some drugs. I have been unable to get money to buy these drugs. All efforts to raise as little for home keeping is near impossible. I have tried to reach major produce merchants for soft loans but I was denied because I have no means of reimbursement yet. A middle man from Ondo town gave me N55,000 on Monday to source for one bag of cocoa. I have gotten 29kg and given it to him already. I owe him about 20k cash which these bastards took away from me. With such situations, he wouldn't give me a penny as soft loan.

Right now, it isn't about the money I owed middlemen or dealers. The couple of days I sat at home, doing nothing, hopeless, helpless, penniless, and been unproductive can be sickening. I just can't shake it off my head. This is the reason I am begging on my knees for help from you fellas.

Yes, I was here months ago but the situation is messy yet again. I will appreciate every token you can contribute to help me get my feet back up. So Christ chose Thomas first before Thomas believed on Him, so Christ obliging Thomas was already under the earlier cover that He, Christ had chosen Thomas exactly as He obliged the disciples when they told Him that they truly did not understand the meanings of His Parables.

Christ may have chosen them before they believed him. But they chose to follow him after seeing his signs.

For Thomas, he had obviously heard the news of Christ and his miracles.

They could believe because they experienced the miracles. They handled the truth and performed miracles too.
