hello dear, welcome back.

Unilag still run PGD programs, don't know where u got your info,.  if you check guardian newpaper of April 28, 2008, u will see some advertised pdg programs.  however, they have stopped selling form for this year.  deadline for submission of completed application form is june 9.  am yet to submit, pray to submit by this friday.

Nothing more to gist, till l get the admission, then l can gist more.  the extrance exam is June 30 for MPA  am applying for.

l go home before my boss, but she is the one to tell me to go, l don't just go on my own.  As a secretary/PA, u go home when your boss asks u to go, not just at your own discretion.  But if he doesnt complain - means hes through with u for that day, closing 7-8pm mmh!!, its late oo! My boss asks me to go between 5.30 to 6pm, and she goes latest 6.30pm.  Note, on some rare occasions l close by 8pm, and l donot grudge at such times!

i think peeps do not know the situation of things in naija schools. peeps come out with 1st class but that doesnt make them more intelligent than those with 3rd class. Academic knowledge is different from intelligence ooo. if the situation changes and scenes change(either dept or family or opportunity), believe me some 3rd class guys will have 1st class and some 1st class would have 3rd class.
i was unfortunate to be given a course a dredded from sec school and i performed woefully in it but i managed to finish school with the mindset that i will pursue my dreams in life with or without good degree. i thank God for where i am and am comfortable in the sense of comfort and doing better than many 2.1 guys we finished together (i still see them once in a while) collecting peanuts. and my IT doesnt have to do with my degree but with my Certification and expertise. i even get referrals from guys i worked with in the past.
To cut a short story long. (lol) i can show you many of my guys with 3rd class in MTN and Mubadalla. forget it, they are doing cool.

NB. I must warn you that after 3rd class, then the work of self realization begins . Please don't sit on your oars. you've got to pursue your dreams like mad because you'll need to do more to prove to peeps you are more than you 3rd class. AND GOD - THE ULTIMATE

the bolded part is the 'koko' of the problem. We need to realise ourself early to avoid 3rd class in most cases.

Is there anyone among you who has ever come across the line ' BEGIN WITH THE END IN MIND'? We all owe ourself and those who invest in us a duty to graduate well from school so that we can return back in thesame measure and even more to the society. There may be several excuses for failure and no REASON to JUSTIFY FAILING. Therefore those with 3rd class today that many of you are defending given a second chance will do better if there is such, why? because now they know that they should have work harder, plan better, concentrate and do all that is required to gradute with something better.
I for one strongly believe in THE CONCEPT OF GOOD REWARD FOR HARD WORK. As no evil deed will go unpurnish so will no good work go UNREWARDED.
Finally for the 3rd class brother the best you can do is to go into business or something that will not require your class of degree. For those still in school and with no inheritance to fall back to, WORK HARD TO GET THOSE 2.2,2.1 and 1 class so that you can put yourself in a place of advantage in the labour market.

But won't u bn happier  had u made 2nd class?  Dont u think if u had been more serious as u are now, u wd have made better grade?  Why are u doing so well now, but couldnt do so well in the uni?  Question! Question!! Question!!!

l never knew Gani made 1st Class in law school! (Did he ever accuse the system for his failure in the uni?) This portrays the act of late discovering of self l mentioned above, which is mostly the problem of our 3rd class graudates. lf Gani was as serious as he was in Law school, l dont think he would make 3rd class.

The way some of us talks abi write, it looks as if, its only when u have 3rd class that u can go into entreprenurship or skill acquisition. Abeg be the best u can be, if you come out with third Class, be glad and praise urself, if thats ur BEST!!

I know that a good number of 2:1 or 2:2 graduates even payed their way through in school while others (especially women) bed-sleeped their way through.

abeg make we hear word!! People shd just take responsibility for their failure and stop blaming the system!!! We all went thru school, and we know that many students are just not serious, from one party to other, clubbing from pillar to post!! And some are actually not sound academically even with committment. Don tell me that some1 with 1st class or 2:1 slept with all her lecturers from year 1 to final year and in all the courses that was offered. Abeg make we hear word!!

One thing is that some pple discover themselve very late in life. My good friend came out with 2:2 and shes a 2"1 candidate. She told me that in her year 1 -2, that she wasnt serious, she realised herself in year 3 and it was too late for her to make up for the 2 lost years. This is what happened to some of our graduate.

when l was in year 1, fellow course mates were sayin then, that year 1 grade will not form part of overall GPA at graduation. l didnt mind them, at last it formed part of it.

Is it all does with 3rd class that played when in school and is it all does with 1st class that read well in school?Let me use u as an example u mit have a first class but does it show in the way u reason?I met a lady when serving and while hurrying her up she said what will the LGO do i quote'IS THERE ANYTHING MONEY CANT DO?'some pay their way some sleep their way and some do read.
