Health / Re: Do Any Swine Flu Victims Exist In Nigeria? by MyPeace(f): 11:48am On Sep 10, 2009
cuz if it reaches nig, 80% of lagosian for example will die in a day.  Have u seen pple inside Molue or crossn pedestrian bridge in Lag.  God will not allow it ooo.     cry

However there hasnt been any reported case in Nigeria as far as l know.  But individuals and  organisations shd have the Tamiflu readily available incase of any outbreak.  l know it will  be deadly if it eventually reaches here.

money shouldnt be ur basis. U hvnt even gone for ur nysc, any company that employs u now, its like charity, cuz u would leave them any moment.

Grab any offer as an opportunity to gain the much needed and celebrated EXPERIENCE!!! So any amount should be ok for now as long as it covers ur cost of transportation and feeding.

Double N:

My fellow Nairalanders,
I have an IT professional Certificate but all the Job offers i see always include work experience of 2 to 5 years. How do i go about this cos i have no work experience but i knw i'll perform well on the Job.Do i lie about my work experience? Please help me cos i am confused and in need of advice

Experience is important in ur CV. While searching for a job, look for where u can render free services, it could be a one room office, put it as part of ur work experience, atleast with that u are not lying.

Friend, I am a member of CIPM preparing for my Intermediate one exam. Once u pay 3k into their account and send the teller to them, u get a reply and say 2 to 3 months notifying u of your membership and student number. Since u are a graduate, you start at intermediate one. u have to pay acceptance fee of 5,500 and 12,500 for exemption within 6 months of receiving the letter. U don't need any transcript but send the teller with a form downloaded from their cite, your cv and photocopies of your credentials. I'm preparing for my exams in February and I'm to pay for tutorials worth 17,500. I also have to pay 20k for the exams and 4k for the study pack. be sure u are ready .take care

Am glad to search this forum. l just finished filling my form today to submit before the end of next week and prepare for the February exams. Which of the centres are u preparing for the exam, but l learnt when l called one of the centres that tutorials will start in October.
Career / Re: Secretaries (Or Personal Assistants) On Nairaland by MyPeace(f): 11:26am On Sep 07, 2009
l have gone thru the site again and called another tutorial centre, was told the transcript is not compulsory.
Career / Re: Secretaries (Or Personal Assistants) On Nairaland by MyPeace(f): 10:57am On Sep 07, 2009
Chy thx.  Are u doing it, or have u done it?   l hv gone thru their site  and even called one of the tutorial centres on the website.  have printed the form, my problem now is my Transcript, going to ogun state wont be that easy for me. Tutorials start in October.  l read Business Education, and l did a handful of HR courses, l believe l will get exemption, if am able to get my transcript.

Thanks.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Interview And Suit Wahala by MyPeace(f): 2:16pm On Sep 03, 2009
Yea, it depends on the job, but where dressing  code is silent, its always better to be on suit instead of guessing or making mistake of dressing off, better in suit!   Mustnt be an expensive suit ooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

donpaulo:

i once went for an interview with an oil and gas coy as a field engr dressed in ma suit. cheesy
the first thing the oyimbo asked me was that, 'are you going to be wearing that on field,, pls pls pls you are not serious'! undecided
i came back the next day in ma jeans o, luckily it was courtesy of a pal that gave me the opportunity of being interviewed twice, no, one and a half times! grin
i guess it depends on the kinda job and coy too, cool

yea it depends on the industry, but apart from oil and gas, orders expect a suit.  l work in oil and gas, after the interview with my suit ;Dmy now boss told me, 'pls we are not a financial insitution wear whatever u want'

neonet:

I know of a guy, he was the only one that was not putting on a suit.atlas, he was the only one that scaled thru.suit has no advantage, just dress neatly and at least put on a tie!

@ poster
abeg dont mind this post, apart from oil and gas, always wear ur suit.  even oil and gas wear ur suit, first impression matters!
Career / Re: How Much Does Oceanic Bank Nigeria Pay Its Fresh Graduates Or Intakes? by MyPeace(f): 2:44pm On Sep 02, 2009

@poster,
In YOUR WILDEST dream do a bank pay graduates 220,000 naira?its all lies, they pay 130,000 naira.people should stop giving fake infromations please.

dont know why pple inflate bank pay.  Yea the snr guys and gurls earn much, but 80% of bank workers earn below 100k, because 80% of them are contract staff.

Yes men should carry their baby on their back grin

here i am doing so with my prince tongue

u are carrying him on ur shoulder, u for carry him for back with ur wiffy wrapper.

its not a biggie but DONT USE UR MOUTH TO TELL HIM. l know my own hubby will not take that TRASH!!
Family / Re: Can You Disclose Your Salary To Your Spouse? by MyPeace(f): 2:19pm On Sep 02, 2009
my hubby knows exactly how much l earn.  He even knows my ATM pin and l know his.  We operate joint and separate accounts.   He is into private business, l might not know exactly how much he makes a month but l have idea, as long as he contributes his quota to the joint account and fulfills his obligations at home, no qualms.

Theres no need to hide your earnings.   People hide when they feel their spouse will take advantage of it.   l think if u have a financial plan for your home, there wont be need for 'financial hide and seek game'
