MMotimo:When asked to provide evidence against brabus in court of law, my fictitious N5m complainant has stories like yours above to share. The magistrate told him he’s yet to convince the court on his own case he’s busy bringing up baseless accusations and told him why do people abroad felt they can just treat their folks back home anyhow. There’s no point wasting time searching and teaching people how to do it. We refer those in touch with us to check out our previous builds and we are never in a rush to delete our old posts or change our user ids. Wahala for person wey hin daily bread dey nairaland. Just come down to Nigeria with your nairaland evidences against brabus and stand as a witness to nab and prosecute him. For 10 years, all I see here is bunch of cry cry overgrown babies and attention seekers. Most of my clients aren’t really the issue but marauders who make them feel like they’re dealing with a devil thus making them to abandon their life goals in pursuit of frivolities. ______ Just imagine, someone calling his contractor who built a N18m house a fraud because of windows that were not supplied by a subcontractor engaged for the job. Evidences proved the subcontractor absconded with money. Police went to raid the window contractors shop and confirmed there were windows in the shop but incomplete. Evidence show that we paid 400k directly to a new window contractor because the client cannot wait any longer. Evidences show that the 18m house was built without compromise within 60 days. But the client who couldn’t do anything to another contractor who messed up his personal residences which were flanking Brabus build said Brabus is a fraud. Just imagine what would happen if the roof of a project brabus did is leaking, let alone rusting and roofs of 2 whole buildings had to be removed after 1 year after installation. ![]() Just mention one project given to brabus and he did nothing or ran away with money. Just one! ______ Good morning nairaland! Well done madam Mmotimo, I’m glad I kept you busy. Off to work.
|
MMotimo:It’s only me and you caught in an entanglement ![]() What exactly do you want from me aunty? ______ On another side, I’m working on this. See pic below. I’m ambidextrous and can juggle multiple stuffs at the same time. Today, I’ll be in Ijebu Ode, Ajah and Oshodi for 3 different projects.
|
Next ?? I need to quickly tidy up. It’s time for work here. |
MMotimo:Wow! You are talking about the same client whose roofs done by another builder were removed within 1 year of install. Roof of 2 house done in Diamond Estate by another contractor were removed within one year and it didn’t make a headline news. I’d like to know what they did to the person who roofed the two houses whose roofs were removed after one year of install. Please kindly help dig and update us. The 400k variation on a N18m carcass delivered by me was requested for the supply of windows when our window maker ran away with money. ![]() For the records, I delivered the my part of the project (the design and the carcass) and learnt from that project not to give monies to window contractors to fabricate windows offsite for me any more. I invested heavily in tools of trade for aluminum window ![]() See the house and check the thread below https://www.nairaland.com/1207845/paper-brick-construction-semi-detached-duplex It’s all in here!

In another news, I got a feedback that traffic to the number one naija self builders forum, kobocity.com increased dramatically in the past 2 days. Thanks Mmotimo for all you do. You have influence! We are busy moving people from here to there https://www.kobocity.com/d/80-first-time-owner-builder/184

MMotimo:Sigh! Next time, just provide a link to the thread. I’m sure you know all Brabus projects from start to finish are still on nairaland and no single post deleted. I’d like those hurting to heal and all new homeowners to learn. Just take your time to visit the thread and kindly follow up the project from start to the end. That’s why we keep a construction journal for all our projects. There are lot of lessons for new homeowners on that thread. _________ I once heard Brabus took 25m for the project Hmm! Anyone can claim anything but when you dig deeper you’ll find the truth. Truth is constant. The build route for the project was 100% owner managed. This means the client provided the materials and labors where necessary to handle the job. Brabus only handled a few part outsourced to him (hire of marine boards, supply of carpenter and iron bender). Liars (I mean haterz) will always do anything to make their story sweet. This includes starting a story from the end ![]() Don’t be too lazy to check the thread, read comments and contributions of valued followers. All of us can’t be stewpid at the same time ![]() It’s right here https://www.nairaland.com/1338637/chateau-ile-oluji-construction-journal/43#20483619

true2home:Smiles. I know Cement is sold 3500 in the open market but I also know I can keep the figure at N3,000 by sourcing directly from trade partners. I know sandcrete blocks are sold in the open market 230 - 270 but I also knew a “N30 - N70 off each block will give my client some savings to accommodate unexpected twists during construction. I know granite is sold 230k in Lekki but I also know I can leverage my goodwill to get something good at a reasonable amount. I know the cost of formwork and paying for carpenters can be very overbearing in time likes this. I provided shutters and marine boards for almost half the cost of buying the same for the project thus eliminating the need to buy pako, pay carpenter, buy nails just because of something that can be done cheaper/faster by an efficient builder. I know I can do hand mix during certain stage of construction but I decided to have a concrete mixer on site to use at every time we need to do a concrete pour. If nothing else, it saves time and gives a better mix. The essence of all these is to keep the project going without breaking bank and also create a win-win relationship. ________ Adding a dump truck in not too distant future will give us a huge leverage over competition. ________ I didn’t buy all my tools of trades to show off, they’re my weapon of warfare in the fierce construction industry. Even our common wheelbarrow is welded in-house. Ijebu sense no go kee me. |
sonnie10:Wow! With a very good planning and material management in place, a builder/contractor can improve construction efficiency. Planning is everything. I always spend the first week after signing any contract planning each stage of work with my construction crew. We always examine individual needs of each tradespeople at each phase of the project. We check the deliverables and the dependables (what needs to happen for ‘x’ to happen). With a good plan in place, a builder/contractor/homeowner can successfully orchestrate the management of people, processes, materials, and equipment without worries. The work is like fixing a jigsaw puzzle. ______ Though there’s price increase, we never had to worry because everything has been adequately taken care during the pre-construction planning stage. We understand the critical nodes and dealt with it as soon as we see the red flags. For instance, we took care of major reinforcement in our build when we realize there’s almost a 15% increase in the price of iron rods. Today, it’s almost 30% increase within the space of 2 weeks. Planning is key!
|
sonnie10:Wow! This is good. Unfortunately, we are not using hand mould on this project and 10 tons of sand is almost 35k here.
|
sgtkole:You must be a bargain hunter or you’re doing a smaller size than mine. Well done. Keep up the good job sir. |
Enyinne:
|
sgtkole:Material cost perfectly in order. The labour should be pegged at 40k max. I just did one.

Aforxzy:Nice one. Is it a quadplex? |
Updates: XL6 Trillion | Atrium House by NextHome

KelvinCoaster:Let them mention one. They can never and will never. I asked one in January. I guess he’s still looking for thousand ways to cover up his fictitious N3m naira lies. I’ll give all the details about the projects here. The name of the owners, the amount paid and the contract agreement. Brabus don’t take money upfront. Our projects are milestone based. ________ Let them mention one of brabus project that exceed even 60 days. ________ All my projects are here on nairaland and we never delete a single post. _________ We know their tactics and I told my client (ongoing project) the implication of sharing here. The clear intention is to portend brabus as a bad person so as to scare the client. |
Updates - Sandfilling ongoing. - Surface Treatment planned for Thursday.

Building a Better World. Still wondering why Nigeria is not moving forward? A lot of us are busy fighting people (contractors, lecturers, petrol attendants, our spouses...) and not working on fixing the faulty systems.

MMotimo:Smiles. Watch it happen. I know it’s kind of tough for the pessimists and those who have a problem for every solution. Building systems come easy for someone like me. My job is to set the stage and watch out for things that undermine result. I do that very well. ________ Reminder Share just one project brabus collected money for and he never delivered. Just one! Let’s see how much you know.

Just a tip of what I’m up to in another sphere. I have only one life and I’m living it well - to make a difference in my world. _____ Keep posting. I have more goodies to share. Next is the Vice President’s Tech Hub. Let’s share with you Brabus’ involvement ![]() _________ Reminder Share just one project brabus collected money for and he never delivered. Just one! Let’s see how much you know. |
![]() People like us never have to worry about haterz because there are several millions praying for us every day. Thank you does it for us. What else can you say to a man who is still selling blocks at N200 in this current economy? Thank you ![]()
