I’m currently on the fourth floor of redevelopment of a 19 year old structure in the heart of Lagos state. It’s one of the most solid and very interesting multi-floor building I’ve seen around with lots of jaw-dropping unsupported long span beams.

We spent over 3 months (working almost every day) preparing the foundation for the new addition.

During the project planning stage, we all agreed to make our new additions a standalone building that has no connection with the existing structure and that was exactly what we did.

It was quite an interesting project.

Whatever come my way, I’ve learnt not to ever let my emotion cloud my reasoning.
