Question:
Does where you meet a person of the opposite sex determine how you will relate to them, this question is for guys, but I guess anyone can chip in if they feel like it.

Suppose, you met a girl in church, your first impression might be that she is a religious and devoted girl, sensible and mature, but if you were to find a picture of her on facebook with an outfit you consider slightly revealing, would your initial opinion disappear or would you tend to make excuses for her; 'she was probably caught off-guard in that picture.' Scenario two, imagine you met another girl in a night club, so you might think she might have a wild side, and has probably had a few flings, maybe even one-night stands and as you're flirting with her later and telling her how attractive she is and was on the night you first saw her, she tells you she's not into that she doesn't want you talking about her like that, and then when you're talking about things that matter to you, she quotes a few scriptures that mean a lot to her, would your opinion of her change or would you think; 'there are so many Christians out there who know all the quotes and don't follow it.' Basically, does the first impression stay with you even long after you've met??

is there an organization or body that examines anybody that want to become a pastor? fate has no limit my brother and you can not just justify that you are on the right religious fate. Moreover you might not know if you have a wrong fate until you find a fate that is superior. Is there any guidelines for naming a church? sterling drive must be either a street or a small location in a vicinity, which mean a church located at sterling drive. Simple!

Well, mine was that i was too shy. When we resumed ss2 in secondary school. There was this girl name Rukzy, we have been looking at each other for a while so my friends told me that she like me. I couldnt ulter a word to say hi her not for once. I didnt have the courage to toast her although i like her. She came up to me and say hi and i replied by saying hi,  I was shivering with fear. She was like saying that "why am i not looking into her eyes to talk to her". I replied" I use to feel dizzy when looking at someone eyes" . Although, it was because i was shy.  

2 weeks later, i was sick. They gave me an Exit to go home for the treatment so it took me a week to recover. When i came back to school, she saw me and we looked at each other eyes from distance. I couldnt ulter a word. She came down to my seat in the Class and said" I missed you " . Men, all eyes was on me in the class and i couldnt ulter a word. She was like saying " Wont you say something? " She felt so embarrassed because i didnt replied. She decided to leave. She took 2 steps away from me and i now replied " Ehnnn  I missed you too " I wasnt being fair to her. She didnt look back. She was annoyed with me and that was how i misused that opportunity.

We are still friends now. Although, she is married and got kids.

Everyday before sunrise, American pastor Ben Ries wakes up to eat before starting his fasting during the holy month of Ramadan. "It raises your awareness about hunger in the world," Ries told The Bellingham Herald on Monday, August 31.

Ries, 30, the pastor of the Sterling Drive Church of Christ in Bellingham, has decided to join Muslims in fasting Ramadan to get a better knowledge of the Islamic faith.

He says fasting can help him become a better Christian as well as a better pastor, husband, father, and member of a diverse world often fractured along religious lines.

Googling the inte, he found Monem Salam, the president of Saturna Brokerage Services, a subsidiary of Saturna Capital Corp., in Bellingham.
The American pastor immediately e-mailed the Muslim leader, asking him to be his mentor during the dawn-to-dusk fasting month.

"It seemed like it could be a good partnership," Salam said.

"We could both learn from each other."

Ramadan is the holiest month in the Muslim calendar.

In Ramadan, adult Muslims, save the sick and those traveling, abstain from food, drink, smoking and sex between dawn and sunset.

Muslims dedicate their time during the holy fasting month to become closer to Allah through prayer, self-restraint and good deeds.

Ground-breaking

On family dinners, Salam and Ries started to meet before Ramadan to teach the pastor about the fasting month.

Ries has also started reading the Noble Quran and is keeping a journal about his reflections and experiences during Ramadan.
"I'm not a big breakfast person, so it's been difficult for me," he said.

The US pastor hopes that his experience of fasting the Muslim holy month would be a healing step towards a better world.

"As a Christian, I believe this world is broken," he said. "It's not as it's supposed to be."

Salam, who has made a documentary about his experience and his family as a Muslim family living in American society, agreed.

"He's breaking some ground here," Salam said.

He said sharing Riess experience with other church members and non-Muslims would have a better impact on understanding the Islamic faith.

"Hopefully, in the future, we'll have more individuals doing it.
