I think it depends on your age. I mean if I was younger, I may have been cool with a man still on a come-up, but I just spent the last 8 years of my life "making" the man I was with and now he's using that money to support an incompetent, illiterate wife I didn't know he had.

I'm also a Generation X'er and I can tell you I'm too old to be trying to start my life anew with a man that doesn't have a pot to p!ss in or a window to throw it out of. Especially when I own my own house, car, have a decent job, and are seconds away from having my degree-you gotta at least have what I have or better. I admit, there is always room for improvement, so I'm not above trying to maximize your portfolio- so if you was making $50,000 this year, I'm trying to get you $70,000 next year-that's just what kinda chick I am. Amen.

That's a nice thought, but look at it this way: when you are in search of a woman, are you just looking for a beautiful face and body, or are you looking for the entire package? I'm sure you don't a woman that's good-looking but doesn't know how to cook or clean, is bad at sex and dumb as a doorknob and can't hold a 2 minute conversation with you. No more than you want a woman who is not so pleasing to the eye but knows how to do all of those things.

The Bible says do unto others-you know the rest. So the question now becomes how do you expect to find a woman who has the total package and don't expect her to want the same out of you in return?
