it really isn't a big deal but this morning it hit a mileage milestone of 300000km

do we av peeps with 300k mileage on here that can show it too?

how many times did you ring/overhaul yours before it got to the 300k mark?

gazzuzz still uses synthetic oil on this ride.....dem born ur ride well to reach this mileage without mineral oil?
I got 305k miles on a 96 Honda Accord so make i go climb tree abi?Dont even question the maintenance cos even gazzuz go fear.Some people craze for genuine parts to the extent of ordering from japan.

I was a regular on car talk a while ago and still remember the regulars by their original names All the kingreign and Egun some people are calling themselves na lie. We know their original moniker.

I referred someone close to me to GAZZUZZ and he blew my mind.. He went out of his way to make us comfortable. we were sourcing for a car ( Lexus ES350) and we needed someone to scan the car for us. He went all the way to Ajah axis from his ifako axis. He had scanned the car and gave us a very professional opinion. he had even jacked up the car and had checked the ball joints, struts etc Who does all that? I was impressed.

He also told us a small detail that probably saved us from buying a stolen vehicle. The next vehicle he helped us checked out he did it FOC and that was the car we finally bought.

Even though he has a very busy schedule, we have had to crash his workshop twice, and the service he provided us was exceptional.

He did all these even though we have never met, just a mention of my moniker and he was ready to help. We still haven't met self, we only spoke on phone.

I celebrate this great man called GAZZUZZ and I pray that the lord will honour him like he honored me.

I just arrived home 40 minutes ago. I was driving from Challenge in Ibadan to Akure this evening, I took off by 6 pm thinking that I'll get to my destination latest by 8.30-9.00pm because of the bad road from Ibadan to Ile-Ife. Just about to negotiate the bend that linked the Iwo Road -Oyo Expressway with Ibadan-Ife-Ilesa-Akure road at Iwo Road, I met 3 police officers who stopped me. I didn't really bother since I have all my papers intact. Having checked the papers, I thought it was time to zoom off only for the inspector among them to tell me I am driving a stolen vehicle, he pointed out to me that the VIN number on the paper is different from the one on the vehicle. The error was actually that instead of writing number 1, a small letter 'i' was written. All effort I made to convince them it was an error made at licensing office fell on deaf ears, they said I must drive the car to their station at Iwo Road or I pay 5k, all I had on me was N1200, and I wasn't willing to part with everything since I don't know where I'll see ATM machine. The ones at Iwo Road were filled up with people on long queues. I begged them to collect N500 they refused, I had to drive to their station. On getting there they asked me to write a report which I did, I called a lawyer friend who resides in Ibadan, this really infuriated the officer on duty and the one who followed me from where I was arrested. I think it's a minor issue but they really made a serious case out of it. My lawyer friend had to call a senior police officer who also called the station's DPO, they told the DPO on phone right in my presence that I argued with their inspector, drive a car with fake papers and tried to bribe an officer, please what type of country is this? The DPO later came and I explained myself to him, he look like a gentleman. He listened to me and told me I ought not to argue with them, he later asked them to release my car to me after about 10 minutes. I wanted to drive off only to discover that one of the front tyre had been deflated, I had to spend another 15 minutes changing to spare tyre. I left that station by 9.30 pm and got to Akure 12.15am. Again what manner of country is this?

Obviously fake, that your car moves well now does not mean it is genuine, damages to transmissions oftentimes is gradual and may take a little while to be felt on the car shifts.

You will only be lucky if its an old stock. You will be out of luck if its a fake.

Search Amazon, ebay etc, you will not find Z1. A search on Amazon for Z1 will refer you to DW1. The switch was in 2011.

Honda does not produce ATF-Z1 any longer. The DW1 that Honda currently produces is backward compliant. That means any car tgat uses Z1 can use DW1. Honda manual says in the absence of both, use Dexron III until you find the right ATF.

My take is that they wont recommend any ATF that isnt theirs. I guess warrantee may not be voided by using Dexron III since they allowed its use for a short period.

Please can you recommend any non honda atf that will be good for HONDA EOD 2004? I know how sensitive these things are.

I also noticed that my battery is usually flat by morning or if I leave it parked for a few hours. If I crank it twice and it doesn't start, i have to use a jumper cable to boost it. How do I know if it is the alternator or bad battery? Please note that the battery still shows green light.

I have used Rymax synthetic engine oil very well. I used it for a year. It was what my mech used for the servicing of my W202 C230 Kompressor.
My opinion, it is a good engine oil. I used it for 5000miles before a new oil change and had no problem. No sludge.

Good morning my people. I just sprayed my car with sikkens autobase paint and the following morning, it turned whitish/grey instead of the original black color. It disappeared partially during the day and reappeared again the following morning.
Does anybody have an experience on how to handle this. I called my painter and he said it will disappear after sometimes but that I should mix kerosene in water to wash it.

Please, help..

There's nothing like a v4 car engine... It's called I4.
Now on Mercedes and Volvo's... Some people don't like to travel ordinarily... But luxuriously.... Get a tokks 190 and keep praying for me. Fuel economy is not the only consideration in buying vehicles....
