Can't even cross check his evidence in advance to avoid any slip up before the court; yet he hopes to overturn the results in his favour; where in reality the burden of proof is stacked against and weighs so heavenly on him - APC must be laughing themselves silly at this moment as they strategise how they will puncture Atiku's faulty arguments. |

The bill is well deserved; Kaduna state has become a religious hot bed where pastors and clerics are using their influence to increasingly divide the citizens.
Kaduna is the only state currently prone to religious violence at the slightest provocation - it is high time that something is done to curb the preaching of hate and intolerance between the two divide - Kudus to El-Rufai on this one. |

Nigeria will therefore keep fighting internal war against her citizens in the name of politics until she finally collapses..

Crime › Re: 31 Cows Missing In Police Custody In Kaduna by NaMeAboki: 5:13am On Mar 26, 2019 |
This kind of thing happens all the time; law enforcement agents, communities and individuals often take advantage of the lack of awareness and poor exposure of Fulani herders with future dire consequences.
It is also one way that may radicalise them: an erstwhile law abiding family and all their extended dependants are suddenly rendered penniless; deprived of their entire lifetime and emotionally attached assets, their cows, for very flimsy unjust reasons.
Imagine how angry impoverished abled young men from such families, with a culture for revenge, would react should they have access to guns and other dangerous weapons.
Imagine such young after they must have realised the power of the gun and tasted the ease with which they can rob and maim and constitute themselves as law onto themselves as armed gangs and bandits with the power to sack anyone, including villages and communities who dare to resist them.
This is unfortunately how we are inadvertently transforming the once docile uneducated Fulani into dangerous outlaws that are now preying on us on the highway, our farmlands and communities. |

Politics › Re: At $43.507bn, External Reserves Hit Five-month High by NaMeAboki: 8:46am On Mar 25, 2019 |
StOla: Anytime I remember what Jonathan and Okonjo Iweala did to Nigerian foreign reserves and savings, I shake my head at the lost opportunity to build on the economic successes of the Obasanjo regime that same Okonjo Iweala played a celebrated role.
When I remember that all the expenditures made was largely to buy 2nd hand trains, build almajiri schools, provide funds for embezzlement by military chiefs, and provide funds for Jonathan's reelection under the guise of security funds to fight terrorism, I rejoice that he was sacked and returned to his village.
When I remember that over $6.8b of counterpart funding for JV oil projects with International Oil Companies, were left unpaid by the same regime that was making a windfall from the sales of crude oil, I begin to wonder if the then president was not an enemy of the state.
When I remember that the same economy we were told was very sound, had to start borrowing to pay federal workers salaries to the tune of N470b ($2.5b) for Feb/Mar/Apr 2015, just because oil prices had dropped to below $60/barrel, the more reason I believe Nigeria would have encountered the Venezuelan type of economic collapse, had the same Ineffectual Buffoon remained in power when oil price eventually dropped to $27/barrel.
The Jonathan government was a big ponzi scheme that refused to invest, liquidated all the investments inherited, spent all the savings with $20b ECA perished to $2b, spent every single kobo they generated in their tenure, and left a national wage bill that even oil producing states could not fulfill if they had to be responsible for other state expenditure to provide public services to the people.
Even when the EFCC was busy trying to limit the corruption and theft ongoing in that regime, Jonathan did not welcome the publicity his regime was getting, and exclaimed that there was no corruption but ordinary theft, yet billions of dollars were disappearing and those who dared to speak were forced out of their station like Lamido Sanusi.
When we needed a Joseph to save up grain for the years of famine, we were saddled with a Jonathan who would work against his own house and give up his own inheritance to his friends. God bless you for summarising Jonathan's era of huge economic mismanagement - they literally stole our yesterday, today and tomorrow; how many of our youths are blind to that still escapes me. |

Politics › Re: Kano In Its Dark Hour Remembers President GEJ by NaMeAboki: 10:40am On Mar 24, 2019 |
Absolute rubbish; so the view of just a two or three ppl in social media is taken to represent the entire ppl of Kano? Look Jonathan was hated and unseated with largely Kano votes because he lacked integrity - nothing has changed since then; nobody is therefore regretting his ousting.
Kano ppl will never forget how he left them and the ppl of NE vulnerable and unprotected against Boko Haram; where its citizens were bombed in their markets, mosques; ppl couldn't meet or move freely without being harassed at checked points or in their homes; nobody was safe, not even the Emir who almost assassinated in broad daylight - so that Jonathan (stealing is not corruption; Boko Haram are my siblings, you can't send the army to wipe out your family) could ensure his re-election by diverting the defence money for his campaign - no never; we cannot forgive or forget him. |
