Adexchelsea19: It is pitiable to see people supporting an election thar was a daylight rigging and a man caught with plenty dollars just bcs they support that party....If it was d opposition u will hear they are thieves, corrupt...this country will never get it right, no way. The Buharists have always been hypocrites and corrupt to the teeth. They are also narrow minded jingoists. PDP, as bad as that party was, is many times better than APC. At least with PDP you know what to expect so it was easier to expect change. But the APC is more like a court. Nigeria really has a long way |

None of them has come out to say the judgment was biased but if it was the other way round you'll hear all manner of things from the PDP supporters. Why would they say that tbe judgment is biased when it was the same APC that rigged the election in the first place |
Politics › Re: Osun Election Tribunal’s Judgment: Live Update by nameo: 4:37pm On Mar 22, 2019 |
OlujobaSamuel: The power to cancel, declare inconclusive and order a rerun has been affirmed by SC in various rulings, one of such is Kogi state. The major premise on which this ruling is found is that rerun was illegal, if subsequently affirmed by CA or SC to be legal, the judgement will retain Oyetola. I think the PDP should start working on how the rerun was rigged because I don't think the ruling today will stand further judicial test, else, we have so many election overturned except presidential and very few gubernatorial election. We might have to start preparing for election every quarter in one state or the other, as so many shall be overturned. Lolz..... even if the rerun election was declared legal by SC and you add the votes gotten by Oyetola and Adeleke after the deductions from this judgement, Adeleke will still win by a total no of votes counted |

But if it were an ordinary person that stole garri in the market, you all will curse the hell out of him and ask for his head. It doesn't matter how much is in Onnoghen's account, what is important is how he got the money. That's what the government is trying to establish. If at the end, he's innocent, he goes. What's our interest in trying to protect those who oppress us? Who told you sillly azz that Onnoghen stole anything? The basis for the FG prosecution - no of houses and 5 foreign accounts just feel on its face, exposed by the Govts pw prosecution witnesses no less. The FG has by the way stopped calling witnesses. A lot of Govt officials also do so. When he became CJN in 2016, he then decalrrd everything. That was why he submitted two declaration forms in same day. |

Omooba77: Aside allegation that he failed to declare his assets as prescribed by the law, FG had in the charge marked CCT/ABJ/01/19, FG, alleged that Onnoghen operated five foreign bank accounts, contrary to section 15(2) of Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act.
FG had insisted that it was the CCB that okayed Onnoghen’s trial based on certain infractions that were discovered in his asset declaration forms.
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/03/cct-trial-onnoghen-owns-only-5-houses-not-55-ex-ccb-director-testifies/amp And this other allegation by FG that the CJN has 5 foreig accounts was also nonsensed by PW-3, the other prosecution witness, who said that those accounts are domiciliary accounts opened in Abuja. These are the Govts own prosecution witnesses o. And the Govt could only call 3 witnesses all of whom contradicted all what the FG were using to prosecte the CJN both in court and in the media. You remove a sitting CJN and violently violate the 3rd arm of Govt based on the flimsy excuse ever- just cos of elections. And guess what, after the CJN is acquitted nothing will be done to all the persona involved in this disgraceful episode. Buhari is the worst President this country has ever had. |

@Buharists, come and see o. The so called "foreign" accounts that the CJN alledgedly had are just domiciliary account and the so called dollars he has are loans gotten from a bank with his investments in shares and govt bonds as guarantees.
Ok o..... |
