Tolexander: The article talks about the military formation of 2 zones relative to the other four zones.
Agreed, common sense should have made the OP realized that he needs giving the details of all the military formations in all the 6 zones we have, give the composition of all the military formations in all of them and the origin of the key men manning them. Like he has done to the south south and south east. Only a bias mind does that during comparison.
That could have been the modus operandi of the Nigerian Military. That is, not posting an indigene of a region to man the key military formations of ones region. Who knows? They may be in other geopolitical zones en mass, manning their military formations.
If the south east and south south are really marginalized, how shall we know from this limited available information.
From an honest mind, let the OP give the accounts of all the military formations in the 6 geopolitical zones and the key men manning them for us to look into them and debate on them.
Thanks This is you trying to be invasive. Distribution of positions is meaningless to the OP's main argument, which is a fact by the way: the top positions in military, police formations as well as the heads of Nigeria's security architecture has totally excluded the SE and almost totally excluded the SS. I honestly dont get why that poster called on you and Omenka. Cos unlike Omenka, some of us expect more from you |

JKisOK: This is wrong on all fronts. It amounts to adding insult to injury. All along, authorities sold the yarn that killings were perpetrated by foreign Fulani herdsmen.
Now we are calling these foreign killers to settle among their victims, using resources from their victims. This is double jeopardy.
It is invidious.
It is criminal.
It is unconstitutional.
It is illegal.
It is sinful.
It is evil.
This is the Fulanisation agenda that the likes of Obasanjo and Danjuma prophesied about.
And all bonafide Nigerians of goodwill must resist it, beginning with the Civil Society Organisations, Self-Determination Groups, Labour and Professional Bodies, the National Assembly and the all the State Houses of Assembly.
Like Trump said about America, Nigeria is for Nigerians and Nigeria must remain for Nigerian. |

I have restained myself in thinking that there is actually a conspiracy to Fulanise this nation by the current President. This is why I have not endorsed such views here. But it all makes sense now: the apppintment of virtually all the security apparachi from the North( the 1st time this is ever happening in this nation), the condoning of the murderous band of Fulani bandits kidnapping and terrorising across the nation in order to put fear in the mind of Nigerians so as to force us to "negotiate"with them for "peace"; the upsurge in Farmer Herders conflict; the move by Kaduna Gov to convert traditional chiefdoms to Emirs; the Ruga concept or its other face, National livestock plan; the speed with which Buhari acted to force the former Guinean President accept a Fulani man as winner of the Presidential elections; the total control of the Govt from the 3 arms by northerners with some few positions left for some greedy politicians from the SW; and the of course the prior warnings by such eminent persons lime Obasanjo and Danjuma about a Fulanization policy.
Am beggining to believe something is on now.
@ Demdem, Omenka, Helinus, senatordave, afamed, fizznation, anonimi, firefire, seun, lalasticlala, mynd44 By the way, something else just crossed my mind while rereading this story: a northern leader recently said that Fulanis are the largest ethnic group in Nigeria. Someone also edited Wikipedia reecntly to show that Fulanis are amongst the 4 largest ethnic groups in Nigeria with 47million people. Of course, that didnt make any sense cos we all know that Fulanis in Nigeria are not even amongst the first 7 largest ethnic groups. But now it make sense: thos 47million Fulanis is the entire population of Fulanis in Africa. From this Gov, we now know that they are all Nigerians . By the way, why is this fuuucking thread not on FP, @seun. |

At the time, these Italians held sway in America, having control over major cities in the US. American government and its indigenes did not resort to killing and chasing away every Italians because of the bad doings of some of them, instead they reigned in on their(mafias) operations by identifying, arresting or deporting most of their top operators, and this was despite the fact that a lot of US law officers and politicians were in the pockets of these mob bosses at the time. That was how the Italian mafia and their murderous activities were curtailed. The US got rid of the bad ones and allowed the good ones, which included some of the bad ones that got wise and turned legit, to continue doing their legit businesses peacefully. So, why can't SA do the same? it is simply because the reason is beyond drugs. Thank you. And nuff said!! |

He actually cancelled the contract. Read the article in the OP. It was this rejection/cancellation of the contract that made P%ID to take the case to arbitration. Afamed: Did you know the contract was signed in Jan 2010 and Jonathan became the president in May 2010. You should have asked yourself, what impacts and steps did Jonathan make either to comply or review the terms in the contract.
Further ask yourself, in 2013, when Jonathan was still the president, what did he do when the fine was imposed on Nigeria until he left office in May 2015 Jonathan was the one who started the Arbitratiin process in 2013 after he refused to go on with a deal signed by cabals during the dying days of Yaradua when he was then VP ans totally shut out of Govt. He lost that arbitration and then renegotiated the arbitration judgement and entered into an agreement with the company to pay $850m as compensation. This agreement apparently came at the tail end of his admin after he lost the 2015 election. He was then asked by the then Min of Pet to pay that amount, but refused cos he didnt want you APC propagandists to accuse him of paying a money of a contract he had nothing to do with. MetaPhysical: The person you responded to is correct. You Ibos are your own worst enemy.
You lack capacity to manage power in all its forms - money, politics, military, administration.....name it! When you acquire a privilege you loose your mind and spirit over it....you loose moderation and act in extremism. You begin to see others as inferior and yourself as supreme. During Gej administration you hugged everything and acted as if youve never been in corridors of power before. People dont forget these things. Some of your deeds in past is what is being replayed for you today, unfortunately.
Correct your ways and be disciplined with use of power when you are priviledged with it. Even if your mind tells you others are inferior keep it in your soul, dont act it out in your relationship and treatment of those who have rights to the same privilege.
Dont forget what it tastes like now, the pain of injustice.....when you get there act like you got some gaddem sense and treat your people well....and treat other people well. When you guys say Igbos dominated GEJ Govt, I honestly dont understand inspite of how fast my mind usually runs. During that Govt, an Igbo was not the President, Vice President, Senate President, Speaker, CJN( i just mentioned the heads of the 3 arms of Govt). In the security services, apart from the Chief of Army Staff, Igbos were not in charge of Navy, Defence Staff, Air force,Police, NSA, DSS, NIM and others. An Igbo lady was head of Immigration for a time I believe. As for the executive, of the core ministries( Finance, Interior, Justice, Agric, FCT, Works, Foreign, Power) how many were Igbos in charge of at any given time. Even in the Presidency, of the core positions there(Chief of Staff, Private Secretary, Secratary to FG, etc), an Igbo was only the SSG at a time. And if you went to the different parastatals, you would see the same trend- a relatively even distribution, with Igbos no where near the most frequent heads of the parastatals. So I dont understand when some of you say "Igbos dominated"!!! Can you please enlighten me on this? The facts does not support that assertion AT ALL. If Jonathan was truly an agile leader, how will a member of the cabinet shut him out for 6months? That's a flimsy excuse that should be binned. It's shameful for a leader to admit that.
Who assented it without going through the office of a president? Obviously, his own cabals to include his shipopotamus wife—as described by Wole Soyinka— told the clueless man to overlook it.
