FamilyRe: Wife Vs Sister. Advice Please. by natasha: 12:30pm On Jun 03, 2013
sunnydayasaba: Majority of women this days are just bent on destroying a mans relationship with his family when they come in. Am sure ur wife is just trying to destroy ur family with her attitude. If u send ur sister packing, am sure her own family member will immediately move in.

Am surprise that ur wife cannot tolerate her mother-in-law(your sister) Don't send ur sister away, Try talk sense into her, Its a clear picture that even ur wife parents are not helping matter, How will they allow ur wife move in back inside their house? Help ur sister get a job pls, Don't mind that can woman who wants to destroy ur own family, She really dnt knw wat u guys went through growing up. For me, even if i marry the most beautiful woman in the world, My family and siblings will forever remain my priority, Because ur wife and leave u and marry another man, But ur siblings will forever remain ur blood. So don't mind those evil woman who just want to marry a man and destroy his relationship with his family.

Some women are just plain evil.
What are you spitting out mr man? they should not let their daughter & grandkids return to their home because she is married? despite been harrassed by her husband and his people? a man that cannot provide a safe environment for his family is worse than an infidel!!! How much brideprice did he pay that makes him think its ok for him & his family to maltreat another man's daughter? Arrant nonsense...its people like you that encourage violence and attacks on wives and before you know it, they will kill somebody's daughter in the name of say na "devil cause am". then that is when the husband would know that his sister has somewhere to go to
to marry no mean say u don mature o? Abeg waka pass jare
CrimeRe: I Have No Regrets Killing My Father- University Dropout by natasha: 10:10am On Jun 03, 2013
clearly the case of a spoilt firstborn. You want to act a man yet you dont take responsibilities for your actions.
You blame your father for failing your exams in secondary school, blame your dad for only been good enough for geology, blame your father for failing uni exams - so bad that you were asked to withdraw from school, blame your mother for not getting you a lawyer.
Imagine the killer saying his father sent him to university with no money?? some people dont even have the tuition fees to pay for uni let alone ask for spending money!!!! Just because you are the first born/boy doesnt mean its your birthright to demand any and everything. You want to be free why not pack out of your father's house? Why leave your siblings fatherless and mother a widow? If your mother was been treated badly by your father she could have packed out of the house but she choose to stay, are you wiser than her?
You deserve to rot in jail till you learn how to man up to your actions and take responsibility for your actions. Dont worry about the freedom, you will be free to roam about the confines of the four walls of kirikiri hopefully for the rest of your life
Christianity EtcRe: TB Joshua Provides Federal Jobs For 24 Graduates by natasha: 9:14am On Jun 03, 2013
As a born again (Pentecostal) Christian, I have to say that whilst i am skeptical about the man, his source of powers/his power, his person and especially the controversies surrounding him i do commend him that he's used his position and wealth/influence to help out people in need; be it graduates in need of jobs or even widows, beggars as often shown on his channel (the few times i've stumbled on it whilst flicking the channel).
I dont care whether he is a prophet of God or of doom, if we had more people like this man, giving out aids and alms, jobs & training skills, helping out the poor and the needy, healing the sick via spiritual/fetish/questionable means, Nigeria would be a better place (in a few years).
Might i add that i do not believe in his powers nor agree with the people who criticize him. However i do think he should be respected compared to the leaders/well to do family members of ours/community leaders/politicians etc who dont do anything for the less privilege in the society.
FamilyRe: Wife Vs Sister. Advice Please. by natasha: 8:27am On Jun 03, 2013
Unfortunately the man has shown himself to be a weakling, both to the wife/wife's family & to his sister/his family. That he let this issue degenerate shows he cannot protect his wife. He has decided he is powerless to do anything and in effect he's let his sister run his home.
Your sister is your YOUNGER sister and as such should respect your decisions and take orders from you. I will give you an example of my marriage, My BIL (Hubby's elder bro) used to live with my hubby for about 3 yrs before hubby met me or even married me. Shortly after our marriage, hubby travelled, and his brother ( We were leaving in peace before hand o, no problems what so ever) began having issues with me and he was very influenced by another cousin of my husband. His brother used to bring prostitutes to my home and wont pay them and they will cause issues the next money because of non-settlement, all of which i would pay them 2 settle d matter. But all in all, i kept my hubby upto date with his brother's behaviors whilst not picking a fight/quarrel with this guy (he is my hubby's jobless elder brother) one evening, the troublesome cousin came and it looked like they had planned whatever, and something very trival, my BIL slapped me, i immediately called my hubby and he asked for soldiers to lock his elder brother in the guardroom (hubby is in the military). He was locked up for 3 nights. Obviously my inlaws were livid and huffed and puffed and ranted but since then, they have all accorded me my respect as a wife. He moved out a week after he was released .I never apologized to my BIL nor did he apologize to me but we still talk albeit within boundaries. Now all of this happened within 1 month of our wedding, there were no children involved, i wasnt even pregnant yet hubby took a stand which earned him respect amongst my family and even in my sight + more bonus points in bed when he returned.
My point is, your sister has a place to go, her PARENTS house is her HOME. She is a woman, why should she be in her brother's house when her parents house is there? You are not throwing her out on the streets, the money you would use to rent an apartment for her you can send that to your parents as a monthly upkeep (if you are that concerned).
If this was happening to your sister, would you be pleased? would you be happy that your sister is been maltreated by her inlaws with a husband who couldn't care? you only want your wife back in the house to keep your bed warm not minding the fact that you have created a deadly, unhealthy environment for her to live in. You dont even consider your kids!!!! what man chooses his sister (who tomorrow would marry somebody and her husband could say i dont want your family in my house and she would happily obey after destroying your marriage) over his kids? you dont even consider what this is doing to your children? Abegi a word is enough for the wise!!!
HealthRe: The Truth About Polio Vaccine And Mosquito Treated Nets? by natasha:
Its really sad when primitive, unenlightened and uneducated people make uninformed decisions based on bias. FYI - Nigeria and Pakistan are the ONLY 2 countries in the world where polio hasn't been eradicated despite the biillions spent on awareness campaigns n vaccine research n availability by the bill gates foundation, WHO amongst others.
Whilst i have no intention of making this a tribal/religious issue, unfortunately you will find its an epidemic in the North. Northern Nigeria and Northern Pakistan (d afghan border region).
I remember growing up in 9ja and my mum (God bless her, my dad died when i was 6yrs n my younger bro was 9 months..... she struggled 2 take care of us wt her nursing sal) would travel to Minna/Kano/Sokoto and come back 3 months after with tales about the struggles and challenges they faced during the polio vaccine. The local ruler would deliberate with his Chiefs about whether children shld get vaccinated/then you hv d parents who would kick against it.
What i would say to you is this. Pharmaceutical coys would NEVER put out a jab that is unsafe due 2 lawsuits. Particularly Paediatric jabs. This vaccine has been in use for over 15yrs with enough data and evidence for u 2 make an informed decision. Amongst the takers of this jabs whats the % dt died? D % that suffered low IQ or whatever it is that is now claimed? D % dt suffered allergic reactions? D % dt suffered infertility as a direct result of d jab? You should atleast look at your leaders children and their extended families and learn from their children who got vaccinated yet they go on to marry and bear children (defeats the fertility issue), take over mummy/daddy coys and even rule the state (defeats IQ/sharpness theory)infact they live until whenever (defeats the death theory)
Your child is more likely 2 die from complications of this illness if they contract it. Your child is more likely 2 suffer life changing illnesses eg crippled if they catch this disease n suffer complications.
As with any medical intervention and even herbal/natural nothing is 100% safe. Even Paracetamol that has been used for over 50 years has side effects. Herbal medicines/leafs/drinks all have side effects, some of them include diarrhoea etc
Whilst as parents we do things out of concern n love, i would urge us all 2 make informed decisions n not decisions due 2 our bias of anything western. Don't subject your child to a life of sadness/begging because unfortunately, the society we live in has little to offer disabled people, there isn't enough out there and don't let your child become a statistic.
What you don't realize is that your so-called leaders spiritual/community all get their kids vaccinated but would rather d paupers don't because dt way you hv 2 rely on them for financial help with ur disabled children which in turn makes them control u with their money. It is well. A word is enough 4 d wise

FamilyRe: Whyme222's Wife's Response....nairalanders Be The Judge by natasha: 9:25am On May 12, 2013
Hmmmmm, you knew he was a cheat before you married him yet you choose to go ahead? You cheated on him whilst married and you think 2 wrongs make a right? You dont need to explain or defend your actions. You have allowed third parties more than enough to give their opinions about your married life.
I personally can NEVER tolerate a cheating husband and i dont envy what you have gone through in the hands of your hubby, however by choosing to stay, then you have ACCEPTED his actions/habits and you cant then turn around and complain that he is a serial cheat hence he should forgive your transgressions.
Evidently you are hurting and so is hubby, and its clear you are willing to work things through as you are both communicating albeit to the wrong person and a very wrong platform. perhaps some neutral counselling might help (not family or pastor/Imam but a paid professional counselor).
Your hubby perhaps choose you because he loved you more (like you say he said) probably because he never assumed that you would cheat on him (he forgets Karma is a bi----aatt---ch)
Unfortunately, the only person i feel sad for in all of this is your daughter. in this day and age of IT, everything you print online remains there......even if Seun deletes this thread, who is to say someone hasnt recopied and posted it on a different forum? What happens when your daughter turns 9 and stumbles on this aired dirty laundry that can only be likened to a soap opera that was her parent's marriage?
It is well with you both and i wish you wisdom and God's guidance in whatever decisions you make.
FamilyRe: Is This What Is Called Marriage? by natasha: 6:09am On May 12, 2013
Your lawyer has acted against his ethics. Its called breech of confidentiality (his actions that is).
if you feel you want to proceed with a divorce, you can file under the grounds of "Irreconcilable differences". You are allowed to and its your right. No Judge would force anyone to remain in a relationship if they dont want to however they may recommend mediation between both parties for a few months before your divorce is granted.
What i would say to you is this, the move (relocation) is a good thing. it gives you time to stay apart, clear your head, and meditate on whats important, who is important to you and i believe its also healthy for your wife to use this time to reflect on her life likewise. I do think that if after say 1 year, you havent resolved your issues or you arent sure about your wife and family's thoughts towards you then please go ahead with the divorce.
The ladies advising you to be patient are been very untrue to themselves, how would they feel, if their husbands ignore the financial responsibilities in the home and instead spend his income on his family? No tangible savings etc, he takes the household foodstuffs and gives his relatives leaving very little for you to manage?

PS: I would advise my brother (if he was you) to file after a few months, because right now, there are no children involved, just broken hearts which heal with time and a family/wife who would learn not to allow third parties meddle into their affairs.

I see that the people who blow themselves up in d name of the "fairy godmother" [/s]allah/mohammed [s][s][/s] are at it again. Soon we will have the supporters and sympathisers of d Motherless babies children charity (aka boko haram - remember we were told last wk dt BH isnt a terrorist organisation) come online raging and ranting like rabid infested dogs and justifying the actions of dis troublesome religion dt is known everywhere for violence. Instead of the muslim leaders to come out and denounce violence and killings they will be ranting abt acts of violence committed by other religions against theirs in 150BC forgetting that there were no religions just tribes n ethnicities in that era

No one has called you names yet you are quick to throw your dummy out of the pram like a 2 year old having a tantrum/hissy fit? What other proof do you need? the book you use koran has it all written there about the story of your prophet, its not some theory or conspiracy. its a fact, perhaps you should get offline and spend some time studying the stories in that book and you might actually learn a thing or two rather than waging an e-war (oops i forgot, thats what you are taught to do as obedient followers)

CultureAbout Bush Babies by natasha(op): 2:29pm On Mar 04, 2013
Right, so last week friday i bought my 6yr old Happy meal on the way back from school. he left the box in the car (parents would understand this is the norm when you have children). However this morning on my way 2 drop him off in school, he picked up a leaflet from the (now unsealed toy pack) and began reading about bush babies from there. And so this caught my attention. there was a picture of a bush baby and that its an animal commonly found in East africa bla bla bla. I have attached the pics for you to see as i googled it and the same pictures from the mcdonalds thingy came up.
Now my question is this... growing up in 9ja, i heard lots of stories about bush babies and how if you catch it you'll become reach story i always assumed this was some sort of human being/human like creature at least not something that looks like a matured rat!!
can someone who has experienced bush babies (9ja style) enlighten me please.

CrimeRe: A Night Guard Was Brutalized And Burnt To Death In Warri. by natasha: 7:49am On Nov 20, 2012
I read about this story when it broke last wk. Apparently the deceased killed the twin brother over game winnings. And he killed him in the public. People rushed 2 the house 2 advise the family of the incident. But the twin brother, in a fit of rage, ran out and attacked and killed this fellow who had just murdered his brother barely 2 hrs prior. He killed him, chopped off his body parts n hung them on the 4 exits of the village and then the police came and shot him dead.
So whilst its a saddened occurence, however have some sympathy for the mother who has lost 2 grown sons in 1 day. If this man did not kill the twin, he wont have lost his life by an act of revenge. And if d twin did not take the law in2 his own hands, his family wont have lost 2 sons.

Tell ur friend MRSA is curable as long as its managed effectively. If it isnt then it could lead to septaecaemia which can be fatal. Its not an STI so his wife need not worry however it can be passed on via contact with an infectef object or person.
Mrsa in itself is generally not harmful to a healthy person. Its one of the bacterias you find in the nostrils and guts. It only becomes harmful when theres a break in the skin ie pimple, graze, cuts or sores (na there yawa fit gas).
Just in general, ur friend shld maintain very high levels of hygiene at all times to help reduce the cycle of infectivity.
