EducationRe: Know Your Iq Rate By Solving This. by naturalwaves: 1:07am On Mar 28, 2018
Angelparadise:
The term "IQ" is an abbreviation for the term "intelligence quotient." IQ is determined by administering assessments intended to determine a human's intelligence level. This intelligence level is expressed by a ratio of the mental age to the chronological age. IQ tests are often used for determining the intelligence of job applicants, military applicants, students, and others.
The highest IQ ever recorded is of William James Sidis with an IQ score between 250-300. At the age of5, he could use a typewriter and had learnt to speak Latin, Greek, Russian, French, German and Hebrew. He was denied admission to Harvard at the age of 6 because he was called too emotionally immature. Later, at age 11, they were forced to admit him, after which he gave his well-received first lecture on 4-dimensional physics! The Intelligence Quotient or “IQ” has become the go-to term during discussions of a person’s mental abilities. By trying to measure someone’s intelligence, a debate has been fueled about whether that person has any control over his IQ whatsoever. Some believe that it might simply be affected by the genes they inherit, while others believe that it is nourished through hard work as they grow older. Whatever may be the case, one thing is for sure. IQ is the best measure of intelligence.

.What is IQ? Although we might have come across this term plenty of times during our lives, we still need to set some standards so that we can distinguish a great score from an average one.IQ is nothing but the number that a person scores after taking one of the many standardized tests to measure the intelligence level of individuals. The general score of 95% of the population from these tests ranges between 70 and 130. Since there are quite a few different classifications, the Stanford-Binet Scale of Human Intelligence is the most commonly used one and we shall use that as a reference. According to this scale, people who have a score higher than 145 are considered geniuses. List of people with the highest IQ score ever recorded (in ascending order)
1.Stephen Hawking (IQ score – 160)
2.Albert Einstein (IQ score – 160 – 190)
3.Judit Polgar (IQ score – 170)
4.Philip Emeagwali (IQ score – 190)
5.Garry Kasparov (IQ score – 194)
6.Christopher Michael Langan (IQ score – 190 – 210)
7.Edith Stern (IQ score – 200+)
8.Kim Ung-Yong (IQ score – 210)
9.Christopher Hirata (IQ score – 225)
10.Marilyn Vos Savant (IQ score – 228)
11.Terence Tao (IQ score – 225– 230)
12.William James Sidis.

Here Are the Questions1
. The bat and Ball problem
A bat and a ball together cost$1.10. The bat costs $1 more than the ball. How much does the ball cost?

2. The Widget-Making Machine Problem
If it takes 5 machines 5 minutes to make 5 widgets, how long would it take100 machines to make 100 widgets?

3. The Size-Double Lily Pad Patch Problem There is a patch of lily pads in a lake. Every day, the patch doubles in size. If it takes 48 days for the patch to cover the entire lake, how long would it take for the patch to cover half the lake?

Your IQ will be determined according to the time ,accuracy and understanding of those questions?
Your write-up is too disorganised.

Let me tell you how i lost my mother at a teaching hospital. She was admitted for a week and was discharged on friday but unfortunately for us on saturday we had to rush her back to the hospital and here is how the show began. At the emergency, we waited close to 30minutes before anybody could attend to us, what was the problem we asked and they said the people whose job are to wheel patients into the emergency room were unavailable. I wan craze like are you people foolish or cursed, we were like 5 that went with my mum so why didn't you tell us to carry our thing. Long story short, it was negligence and i don't care behavior that contributed to the loss of my mum so forget Nigerian medical practitioners.

No sir, you are changing the narrative. You said a good mileage is a yardstick for a clean car. Here good mileage implies a low mileage. The question is can you afford a low mileage car of this model?

You left us with an impression that this car is very expensive considering its mileage.
This is an issue of syntax now. A yardstick is different from "the yardstick". Mileage is a yardstick but not the only yardstick and that was why I clearly stated that a well maintained car with a higher mileage can be better than a lower mileage car as alot of factors come into play aside mileage.

For your paragraphs 2, you misinterpreted my point. I never said anything regarding the price . The price is very much okay .My colleague bought something of this for 2.3 just last week. I only corrected two things.

1. That a car can be bought in the year different from the manufactured year.

Thus, affecting the mileage. Do you get my drift?

* Tell me how much you will Pay for a 2005 Toyota Camry with mileage below 120,000? Kelley Blue book Value for a 2005 Toyota Camry is $5,500. Factor in all other expenses including cost of clearing {which your Federal Government is increasing March 17th } and let me know what the actual cost will be. It's true the popular saying that humans are very hard to please was making a direct reference Nigerians. Importing Cars from US is very easy these days, Google will do the justice. From your input,
you put the Cart before the horse. Everyone loves low mileage but how many people can afford to pay for it? I have a Clean Title 2008 Camry SE seating in my lot for more than 6 months, i have sold more than 20 units of Salvage of the same Camry in 6 months. If you are a business man and you want to remain in business what will you do? Be Transparent, we displayed Vin, the next minute you start complaining of high mileage. How can we move forward as a Nation when deceit is the order of the day. Nigerians sef, what do we wanthuh?....hisssss
Calm down bro. I'm your number one fan here o. You have the cleanest cars all the time and like you said, it is always good to be sincere and trustworthy. Keep up the good work. Please, when I want to patronize you, I don't want a salvaged car o. I want a very clean one. A pearl white Camry 2011 SE. Pray for money to come. Oya, close your eyes and pray.
AutosRe: SOLD....Tin-can Cleared 2005 Toyota Camry XLE by naturalwaves: 6:44pm On Mar 09, 2018
bravolad:
Your analysis and assumptions are wrong. It's very rare to get a brand new 2011 car in 2018. Even if you get, the price will almost outweigh the benefit as u could get a newer model with less than 8k miles for less amount.

This same car with a less than 100k mileage will cost much higher than most people can afford. You also need to know that mileage is not the only yardstick of measurement for a clean car.

People like you don't deserve the truth and most often fall into the wrong hands. I truly don't understand why Nigerians are difficult to please. No wonder most sincere people rarely go far in business. This is also why some dealers tamer with the mileage & sell quicker to unsuspecting buyers.
There is nothing different from what I said here. We're saying the same thing. It may be rare but I can get. That was what I said except if you now want to say one cannot get.

Based on the remainder of your paragraphs, I clearly stated that mileage is not the sole determinant but a good factor as well. You're just reiterating what I said.

* It's because of people like you Nigeria is what it is Today. There has been serious Campaign on Auto Section on Dealer's Transparency but nobody said nothing on illiterates like you. I lost a deal over the Weekend on a 2009 Toyota Camry with 133,000 Original miles, buyer said 133,000 miles is too high for a 9 year Old Car. I marveled at his Stupidity

Besides, N2.1m quoted above is Asking Price which is subject to negotiation. Need I say much about the high mileagehuh Let me just stop here before I get banned
Your argument is flawed and does not follow. Good mileage is a good yardstick for car selling. The fact that a vehicle is a 2009 model or 2005 model does not mean that it was bought that year. If I want a brand new Toyota Camry 2011 SE, I can still get it in 2018. Even if I want to buy it now as Tokunbo, I will look for one with a very good mileage. The one whose first owner most likely bought it in 2013/ 2014 or thereabout. I am personally turned off once I see anything around 100,000 talkless of 133,000 or 190k+. When sourcing for cars too, make a low unedited mileage your priority in order to get a better pricing. This does not necessarily imply that a car with a lower mileage will outperform a higher one because the manner of use and servicing plays an important role too. Hope you get my drift?

Do you live in Lagos all? School girls board keke by thier selves as early as 6 am sad
If you have a child that is less than 10 years, let your child go out unattended to by 6am and board random bikes / Napeps to school. Imagine if the OP and other occupants of the Napep are kidnappers. What could have happened to the innocent girl?? You better work hard to give your children the right attention or be responsible to take security measures.

You just concluded that the guy lied? Very funny, I see primary school students in Keke or okada all by themselves everytime bro. It's you who is the ITK who actually knows nothing. And some of them actually go to top schools within the area. Better use sledge hammer to beat your chest... Know know!
The OP cannot even deny that he is telling a lie. The point is not about the story though but the message. Moreover, where do you see random primary school pupils all by themselves? There could be a group of 3 or 2 with an older one leading the group. If a parent should allow a pupil that is less than 10 years to go all alone by himself or herself on a bike or Napep, such parent is irresponsible considering the risks involved and deserves serious flogging. When you tell them not to birth children they cannot cater for, they will not listen.
EducationRe: What A Young Girl Did On My Way To Work That Most Adults Ignore. Including You! by naturalwaves: 7:52am On Mar 03, 2018
The OP lied about the story. How come a school girl will be all by herself in a Napep with strangers? The parents need to be flogged considering the risks of kidnapping and all. Moreover, the kind of quality education the OP is referring to wasn't displayed in the story. Parents who can afford a good school for a child should be able to afford a school bus at least if they won't be able to take her to school. If true, then the the child must be in one of these mushroom schools but I can beat my chest that the story was made up. Although, some people may want to argue that not all good schools are expensive but the question is..... What is a good school? A good school does not only care about academics but other provisions as well. A good school will never allow school children to turn in on OKADAS and Keke NAPEPS because they understand the risks and guide against it.

Oh well, whatever he says he earns is his business. I only hope is true because the bold is a very negative attitude on him. I mean, you even offered to PM him and look the way he replied. I was surprised. People are too blind to opportunities and yet complain of being stuck, how can someone who claims to be a teacher be asking another person private information about who and where he tutors?(how unprofessional) That means he doesn't see a problem divulging such info if asked by a stranger. People like him are reasons parents are very selective with the kind of tutors they let in. Just imagine this. shocked

He will result to name calling now and "lol" will be added.
I have dealt with people like him before. Going by his posts, you can tell that his vitupuration is due to inner anger and frustration. He is also in shock. I do not really blame him though because I understand. I sent him a PM, he didn't reply. I actually wanted to counsel him and maybe show him screenshots of credit alerts and some negotiations so that he will stop looking down on himself.

I'm sorry but how much do you expect a parent in the egbeda area of Lagos to pay per hour? You should be happy if they can pay 2k per hour sef.
And at the bold, that is a very wrong attitude, but as you said earlier you are doing well financially, so thank God you don't need the money. Because a smart person will want to build his network and maybe probably I can help refer him to someone, but like I said, thank God you don't need the money as you are already earning 6 figures.

Now, are you aware some children come to Nigeria for holidays from abroad? The normal thing is their parents get lesson teachers to teach them for the duration of their stay here. Have you been contracted by one of this parents before? Maybe not.

And like naturalwaves mentioned referrals are powerful.

Do you want to compare schools in the GRA part of Lagos, the island, banana island and other highbrow area of Lagos that pay over 5 million a term as school fees to the egbeda you mentioned? smiley

You are free to doubt, exposure is key, and lastly have in mind, Your network determines your networth
Does he seem to you like someone that gets a 6 figure pay? I honestly do understand his frustrations . He is not even ready to learn and he claims to be a former teacher. Look at his mannerism and approach. Only a mushroom school in Egbeda could have employed such kind of person.

the students I taught attend private schools. That's in Egbeda area of Lagos.

Yes, just because I haven't experienced it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. No doubt, but seeing is believing. If I was resident in Lagos, I would want to meet you just to know that friend of yours who charge 25K for 2 hours.
Now I have an idea of where you are coming from. You said you taught in Egbeda. How many high profile schools are there in Egbeda?? I cannot even mention one. The only close call is Christland college, Idimu. How much do they pay as school fees in Egbeda? Egbeda where teachers are paid an average salary of 25k a month teaching multiple subjects in those small private schools. Schools here pay as much as 1million to 4 million plus a session depending on the school. So, you think someone that can pay almost 2 million naira for school fees won't be able to afford 40k a month for lessons?? Keep waxing in foolery.
