A fake gun will be like putting lipstick on a pig.

Yeah sure but only if Nigeria will pass a concealed weapon bill. A single bullet to the skull cost less than a dollar.

I recommend Walther PPS. It's a great conceal weapon, available in 9mm it packs a needed punch to stop the most decisive attacker.
Can you explain better sir? This seems like a real pistol. A fake but impactful one will be better.

Good evening brethren of the house

Pls i would like to make an enquiry, pls how much is fair/reasonable to charge a family for home tutoring of their ss2 kid. 2-3 hrs daily, mon to friday also.

pls i need inputs frm professionals on the matter, just to know a range at least.

Thanks in advance
If you're in Lekki axis and you're good, this won't be less than 100k for those 5 days because the average is around 50k for 1.5hrs per time at two times a week.

Seriously... He needs a support... Herrera is not helping matters so far this season.
You're right. I don't know what is wrong with him. This season. If Matic should suffer a knock or gets injured, there would be serious problem. Anyway, the presence of Sanchez will make Pogba drop back to help the midfield in that case and that won't be too bad.
SportsRe: Manchester United Completes The Signing Of Alexis Sanchez For £35m by naturalwaves: 8:50am On Jan 21, 2018
This means that Manchester United will have a good backup should there be an injury. That forward line is getting seriously loaded. Manchester United also need a very good back up for Matic. Matic is being seriously overworked.

anyway, my application has been delivered since teusday and i have not be called yet. i am thinking of going down to the schools by myself.
If you want to go on your own, hold your CV again as if you want to drop it and ask if you can see the school Heads.

how about me put it to them this way: if you want me to be an in house teacher like every other teacher, then you have to pay me this amount of money; but the benefit will be that the students will learn faster ans better. and if you cant accept that, then i may want to consider being a freelance teacher and come only once a week to teach the Mandarin club and then charge per head.
Excellent idea bro. This suggestion is not bad. Make sure you do not come too cheap.

RomanceRe: The Surprising Truth About Premature Ejaculation by naturalwaves: 6:26pm On Jan 14, 2018
There are different things that come into play when talking about PE and let me just give my humble advice.

1. Never penetrate a lady with the first erection. This is what I mean..... You guys are together, you get a bit naughty around the house, you get it up, take a break, gist, talk, get it down. If you can do about three cycles before the main act, you're not gonna have a PE.

2. Having PE is not even a problem at all if you can minimize the refraction period. Refraction period is the time it takes to get it up again after ejaculation and thus varies from as small as 30 seconds to two weeks. I'm sure a lady wouldn't mind if you can go on again in about one minute or less after ejaculation. How do you do this? So simple! The greatest mistake most guys make is to bang furiously when approaching ejaculation and this is wrong. If you do this, you are going to collapse your chambers. If you wanna ejaculate, best thing to do is to stop banging, ejaculate. If you do this, you cannot even go limp cos your capillaries will still be opened for blood flow. This isn't documented in any medical journal that I have seen but works like magic. There are other numerous tips of at least 10 but these two first of all, works like magic.

i really appreciate your help.

yesterday, i sent an application letter together with my cv to about 9 of those schools but they have not recieved it yet since the delivery day is thursday (i used UPS). do you think it makes sense if i just go to one of those schools and try out your suggestion before the UPS actually gets to them?

and majority of those schools are boarding schools, how will the students go and inform their parents about the Mandarin club?
I'm on the road. Will make an appropriate reply when I am settled.

thanks alot. this means i will have to write a proposal and send to the schools. that was my thought initially but i was thinking that such schools will prefer to have an in house teacher since they would want their students to be able to speak eventually.
The in house thing will not pay you. It will take a while but if you're an in-house teacher, you could get private lessons to teach Mandarin depending on the packaging and how you present it. If a school gives you 100k and you have about three private mandarin lessons, you can make say an extra 100k to make 200k or more for you but lessons aren't always consistent.

The proposal thing you're talking about isn't something you should take as a big deal o. You can approach these schools as a visitor and ask to see the Head and all and if you want to do a letter too before appointment, that will be okay. Trust me, it has to be about how you "wow" them. I could give you good suggestions when you finally make up your mind.

hey guys, please dont pay attention to the topic of the thread as what i intend this thread to be all about, is completely different.

i chose this topic and this section because it is rarely visited which means fewer chances that non informed people will come in here to derail it. so i have decided to select you guys @abumadea @madcow @siraweezy @larrypourl @naturalwaves @chuckzyfcb @sochima1989 @allymarry89 to come here and give me advice on an issue. i was in a thread which is about salary scale for schools in lekki, badore exis. your contribution to that thread shows you all are the right once to give me an advice on this issue

i am applying to Atlantic Hall, Meadow Hall, Chrisland, Greenspring et al to teach Mandarin Chinese.
but the problem is, i dont know what the salary scale for this kind of job would be.

someone told me a lady in Greenspring who teaches spanish earns 400, 000 naira per month. for Mandarin, whose teachers are even fewer and the language more sought after today, what do you suggest i should be looking at? i dont want to sell myself short.

for those of you who teach in such schools, do you have a mandarin teacher, do you think your school needs one?
To start with, I do not think that figure is correct. Mandarin is not so common in schools around here at all. What I will suggest is that, you should not try to get to these schools but float a mandarin club in them. You start up a club and introduce it to the school. You can charge a 10k to 20k a term per participant. If you have an average of 10 pupils in 5 schools, that is 50 pupils times 10k each, and that will give you 500k in three months. You can visit the schools one at a time in each day of the week and this means that you will have all your morning time to yourself to do other things. Mind you, the 10k figure is the minimum o and the 10 per school is the average. You may even have 30 in a school. The number of pupils you will get depends on your packaging and how you wow them when you introduce the club on the assembly or wherever you do the presentation. You can even hire a Chinese lady for your presentation. grin

Upon all his brilliancy, I only feel pity for him. He worked like an elephant but eat like a cricket..

He is an unfortunate human being..

Unfortunate to play during the era of Ronaldinho, Zidane, Owen, Figo, Ronaldo de lima, Gerrard, Iniesta, Xavi, Nedved and so many superb footballer like him.

If he were to be playing in this present era of Cronaldo, he would have won three ballon dor out of Cronaldo's five ballon dor because he is far better than the Portuguese during his top days.

May we not be unfortunate in life

Meanwhile
Odeinstein. How is Henry better than C. Ronaldo? Your head must be paining you.

I'm disappointed in the doctor that posted the story. The decision on the delivery of the woman was poor.
The woman should have had an elective caesarean section at term. Long history of subfertility with a co-existing uterine fibroids is an indication for caesarean section.
Finally, what killed the woman? Probably hemorrhage. How many units of blood was available for the surgery, who operated the woman, where was she operated, what method of anaesthesia was used?
This kind of story is not a good one. I doubt if the healthcare provider is a doctor. The case needs an audit by the Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) & the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA).
The story is a concorted hogwash from the stables of useless Nigerian blogs.

The doctors just did unprofessional jobs, considering the medical history you narrated while still allowed the woman to enter into labour pains , before you started that CS, the woman has already lost all her energy, no more strength, I understand the devil might be at work but most times we can defeat the devil with common sense. Thank God you cried , you felt the pains of loosing her. may her soul rest in peace.
Crying is not enough but the story is not true anyway. I cannot believe you all fell for this concorted hogwash from a yeye Nigerian blog.
HealthRe: Worst Day Of My Life: She Was Barren For 14yrs & She Died On Childbirth - Doctor by naturalwaves: 3:58pm On Oct 22, 2017
The story is touching but looks like it was concorted. The write up has a tone of a Nigerian writer. This is not how most people from Pakistan talk. Moreover, why not mention the doctor's name and the avenue through which he shared it? Or he sat down the OP to tell him or a website? If the news is factual, the name of the doctor will be there.

I saw your post initially and ignored because I hate to argue with people. The owner is here on nairaland and when she approached me she told me #36m initially before she beat it down to #34m and later said #33m..If you check other threads where others are advertising as well, you would see they advertise for #34million. And besides this is not Vilac estate and those pictures up there are true pictures of Glamour Gardens estate at Abijo.
I am not desperate but I do not need to start any argument with anybody on social media.
Get your facts right next time before you type anything about people.
Don't be upset dear. I may not know the name is Glamour Gardens estate but trust me, I know this place and I've been there. It is very close to Vilac International school and that was why I thought it is in Vilac estate or something. In fact, it is opposite Corona school, Abijo . You will have to follow the road where Vilac international school signpost was put and I have toured the house because they left 1 or 2 of the duplexes for inspection then. In fact, the last duplex on the left row with a blue DSTV dish was bought by someone I know and when I asked, the asking price was 30 million. Maybe the owner just wanted to try a higher bargain online. I'm sorry if you are upset but honestly I was really angered by the quality of the house and maybe that was why I transferred it to you. The house is not even worth 30 million on critical assessment. The house does not have a BQ because the so called BQ that is close to the mini water treatment plant cannot even take just a regular sized bed. It has to be that slim one and when you put it there, there wont be space anymore. As for the bathroom/toilet in it, you can't even close the door properly till you enter and tuck yourself in a corner. Living rooms and bedrooms, so tiny. Only the master bedroom looks like a regular/normal room. It is like building a 14 units duplex in the same space that was meant for 7/8/9 duplexes. I was astonished by the greed of the owner of the properties and that was why for long, the estate was unoccupied despite the small number of units due to the dissatisfaction by most potential buyers .
