I do not know why people kept on saying this is a good review. In fact, this is a very poor review. Looks like you were paid for this. How can you keep on opening applications and then counting scores? If apps on the phantom load faster, that's just a 1....but you kept on opening different ones and counting scores. Who does that? That is so unprofessional. Moreover, you should have shown that it was the same network sim that was on the two devices when you were loading the web pages but you failed to do that. How do we know that it was a fair contest? Or don't you know what comparism means?
Moreover, you failed to review other critical aspects that are necessary but you just diverted the attention with your trip and so many unnecessary detail. I have watched several tech reviews on devices and I must say that this is one of the worst reviews I have ever seen. Slow down girl, you are going too fast. You had better watch it and be totally professional. Your review is a very sentimental one. I will suggest you do a better one.

Wow! looks yummy. This used to be one of the best foods I could prepare ( Uni days). I remember my friends always begging me to please prepare it for them. I think cheating on a partner shows a lack of respect for the partner and the relationship. In relationships, respect is even more important than love. In this case, the lady did not only cheat but cheated recklessly till the point of getting pregnant. Haba!

Well, what has been done has been done. If the lady hadn't been caught, she would have continued which shows a disinterest in her current relationship.

The point is..... People should learn how to communicate while in a relationship. It is not a do or die thing. If you do not feel someone anymore, why not tell him or her? Most landlords in lagos (particularly those in middle brow areas) do not even like renting out their properties to Igbos reason being that they get the flat over populated and they have a very poor maintenance culture. They have this attitude of "no be my property" whenever little expenses come up. If you happen to be a neighbour to one and the pumping machine goes bad, it will be easier for a needle to pass through the eye of a camel than to get their own part of the contribution to fix it. I have seen houses being occupied by them where the WC is broken and they kept on sitting on it because of the same "no be my property" syndrome. Even when little things like door handles are bad, they won't fix it. Except for a few, most igbos I have seen in middle class areas in lagos lack a good maintanance culture to another man's property. Only an igbo landlord knows how to handle them and those ones give them a very big headache. Infact, I have had igbo friend who swore never to get an apartment owned by an igbo ever because of the stiff high handedness. Most of you are ingrates and take for granted the liberal nature of an average yoruba person. So, always use your senses before typing nonsense.

I just came in too. Trying to settle down and I see alot of prospects here. Some teachers here are far better off than a banker o. I know nothing less than 8 colleagues that make at least 300k per month(lessons + salary).

Well, you can't compare that side with lekki, ikoyi axis except you get a well to do client there. Most of the pupils in one of those schools you mentioned are actually resident here on the island. Some of them just decided to go to the boarding house there.

Infact., you won't believe this. I have taught in a government school on the mainland before and the highest I ever get from a parent trying to make me teach the ward was 5k. The average negotiation was usually 1, 500 naira per month. So, I usually teach free of charge cos that amount is just too poor and they will even owe you. When it is time to pay the supposed 1, 500, you won't hear anything. The child can then bring a loaf of bread and will be like.... My mum said I should give you. In my mind, I will be like... Na bread I wan chop?

Naturalwaves...you are on point about that lesson talk and high end clients. I sometimes take them too, especially during weekends. And the circle I accept (only circle) is the high end circle. And for me, negotiations always start at 50k.

Your negotiation should actually start from a 100k+ because they are going to beat it down. Carriage matters too. When you say a 120k per month for e. g, they can beat it down to 70k and then you say 80k is what you can consider. Before you know it, they will accept. At all at all na him bad pass you go get 50k. If you do one ver well and the client is impressed, you don hammer o cos that client go refer you die.

It is not the norm. 20k? That is too low. Damn too low. What you charge depends on a lot of factors. Your client, what you teach etc. Infact, I once charged 75k . I have a friend that charges 20k per hour. I have seen someone collect 150k per month. Like I said, depends on you, the client, your negotiating power, knowing your worth etc. So, you are right, 50k is not the norm . You can get as high as 180k(a friend of mine collected this steadily for 1year for teaching a girl mathematics and after she passed her entrance exam into one of the most competitive secondary schools, her dad slammed my friend with a 500k thank you cheque). All these butress my points about the numerous opportunities here.

@OP, whatever you do, I will advise you to pick up any job in that area or axis even if the salary is 50k. When you are there, it is like playing in a big league. You move from one school to a better one within a twinkle of an eye. Some schools around that axis are in the lower cadre like the one you are considering while others are in the higher cadre.

I teach in one of the schools in Lekki and it is not bad. Moreover, education is highly valued here. You have great prospects for private lessons. At 2 times per week, 2 hours per time, the minimum I have ever charged is 50k (a grads salary with government). What do you think will happen if you have 2 of them? Before you know it, recommendations, referrals etc i. E if you are very good. You will have to even start turning down the private lessons offers at a time.
