Although I drive with the original placed permanently in the car I drive but it is not too good cos sometimes, I may not be able to drive other people's car. I am a bit careless, so moving with it all around will definately make me lose it.


I think the best thing is to always present the photocopy of your licence and never ever hand over the original to those people particularly the police. The reason is that once you hand over the origianal, they will just seize it just to make you panic or pay one ridiculous bribe but if you give them the photocopy, they know they cannot seize it.


Moreover, Nigeria lacks a good database system. If I am a certified driver, does it mean that I cannot drive any car on emergency or something? Must you necessarily move with a licence everywhere? Are we not humans? What if i forget my licence at home? Can't I just give my name to the officers and they search it on the database to verify? I turned down a colleague's plea to help drive her car one day because my licence was not with me and I know how stewpid the officers could be. They can even impound the vehicle and ask you to come for it when you have your licence with you and if you do not want that, you have ti rub some palms. So sad!

The highest I have driven on that bridge is 120. The major problem is that despite the fact that the lanes are well marked out , drivers do not stay in lanes. Some swap lanes without trafficating. Some will overtake by your side, get into your front and then slow down in front of you. Some broken down vehicles do not quickly place a C Caution and some of those that do place it so close to the broken down vehicle. God help us!

There was nothing to suggest that it was a sarcasm. If you know much about sarcasm, you would know that it is usually hidden within a statement . It is only those that know Mynd that will know he was only trying to be funny with his post by saying what some people would have said. So, that is not a yard stick to measure the intelligence of people on this forum. Do you think everyone knows Mynd or stays online almost throughout the day to know who is pro Apc or Pdp or whatsoever?

The woman survived and that was why she was narrating the story. The heading was just to create awareness about how women die during child birth at FMC Asaba.

I still feel VIO officers are the most terrible ones. The reason is that everyone knows that VIO do not take bribe and this usually gets the officers annoyed for no reason particularly the females. I will advice everyone to know the rules, get all required things and know the specific duties of each of these corps or forces.
I was stopped by VIO very early this year and the following ensued.
Woman: Can I see your vehicle particulars?
Me: okay (gave them to her).
Woman: No insurance. ( I searched the vehicle and gave it to her ).
Woman: This is not a comprehensive insurance . This is 3rd party ( we were actually going to process the comprehensive but did a 3rd party for the mean time but I thought to myself if it mattered).
Me: How is the type of insurance your business? Insurance is insurance whether 3rd party or comprehensive. (She was shocked.... Went to meet a colleague and that one told her not to make a mess of herself from the way they behaved I could read it. She kept on looking at the documents ).
Woman: You do not have road worthiness certificate or sonething like that.
Me: Road worthiness? This is a brand new car and it is road worthy. If a brand new car is not road worthy I wonder which car would be so, I do not need a road worthiness certificate because it is road worthy by default.
Then, she said she will give me a ticket bla bla bla to go pay in the office and so on. I told her to hold on and I need to see their boss. I explained to him and the man gave the woman a look that says "you are very stupid". He checked my seatbelt label, saw the year of production of the car etc and said..... Pls let this man go. Meanwhile, another one had asked for my DL and checked which was okay. The woman was so sad.
The point is , they do not care, they are very wicked particularly because they know they cannot and do not ask for bribe so, they like to waste one's time . If I had not known all those small small things or if i had not thought fast enough, I would have been cornered with the insurance issue and road worthiness certificate.

The last time a police officer stopped me andasked for my DL, I told him that it is not his duty to ask me for my DL except in case of an accident or emergency( I made sure he was not carrying gun o before saying that ).
His response: Na you sabi book abi? Abeg, make una dey go joor! ...... and I zoomed off.

It is really well maintained indeed with those tattered interiors.

I think you are supposed to change your moniker to firstmumu and not lastmumu( just joking). Floyd still has a long way to go and is not yet retired. My statement does not only refer to the past but past, present and the future and that was why I did not say or use the statement " that has never been defeated" . I said .... "That is never defeated" which leaves the probability of tasting a defeat someday. the crowd was so much and they were only few vehicles at the the garage, it was late i had no choice so i board a very thight bus i had to manage the squeez, all through the journey getting to my bustop, as i was trying to alight from the bus, suddenly a lady stepped forward pressed herself against me as it was such a crowded area i tried to shrug her off ,but didnt mange to, An elder female about 40 suddenly hit me from behind i lossed balance i tried to glare at her but my attention was distracted obviously some one deeped hand into my bag i felt it i tried to force my self out, afterward i realized my money had gone wow! I immediately ran towards the lady as she was really walking so fast... I stopped her, greeted her i thought it was something we could handle amicably not involving anyone else i spoke to her politely
'Ma i knew you deep your hand into my bag and made away with my money' awww she shouted 'e be like say u dey craze which money you see me? Ah she said some things in her language ' gosh i was confused i still couldnt believe my eyes before i could raise my head she started calling people explaining shi to them i have a tiny voice so my voice couldn't beat hers everyone paid more attention to her cos she speaks the language they all understood, omg i was dudumbfounded i spoke to few people who advised me to let her go since there was no evidence.. But i saw her even as at that moment the money was in her hand no one believed me she had crews who defended her i gat vexed and i left the place!! It was really a horrible experience ...

To start with, there is nothing like " a pocket picker". I do not want to start pointing out the numerous blunders in this post of yours. We all make mistakes but these ones you have here are not the usual types one can overlook. Everyday, I pray to God to soften this my heart that has become so rigid no thanks to past heartbreaks.
