myboy2111: [s]A group of youth under the auspices of the Arewa Proactive Youth Coalition has dismissed the flag-off of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign rally in Sokoto as the "latest form of MMM in town".
Inuwa Bako, President of Arewa Proactive Youth Coalition, urged Nigerians "to be wary of PDP’s ability to transparently manage public resources when it cannot be sincere with the number of people that took part at its rally".
His words: “The North-West rally which had the entire PDP loyalists from all over Nigeria left a 10,000-capacity stadium still empty and the mouthpieces of the party were still bereft of shame to lie that the number of people that attended the rally portends victory for Atiku (Abubakar). This is nothing but MMM whereby people were made to believe what did not exist. Anyone that allows themselves to be taken in by such scam is in for disappointing surprises.
“The PDP may be playing the ostrich, but the reality is that many people that should have attended the rally are aware that they will not hear anything new, but that they will be plied with insult and abuses against the ruling party since the PDP and its candidate are incapable of issue based campaign. The people of the North-West and other Nigerians are eager to attend rallies that are better organised, where they will be able to hear fact-based pitches from candidates, and not gatherings where actors and charlatans would be hopping on soap boxes. “You can imagine that a party that was in power for 16 years with a candidate that was vice-president for eight years are unable to point to concrete projects or achievements to convince the electorate with. If after previously holding office for 16 years, all PDP can do is to make more promises of what it will do if elected instead of showing what it has done to be re-elected, then there is something capitally wrong with the party and its candidate.
“We have resolved that we will not allow the rural population or those with limited political exposure to be scammed by the PDP as they continue their other rallies. Arewa Proactive Youth Coalition has therefore resolved to embark on an enlightenment drive to educate people on the issues they should raise when any party approaches them with non-issue based messaging."
MediahelmNGR: Fashion Designer, Uche Nnaji says it should be worrisome to everyone that many young men now want to engage in betting/gambling instead of working hard to eke a living.
In a post shared on his Facebook page this evening, Nnaji said that as much as religious bodies preach against girls doing runs, they should also speak up against this new trend of able-bodied men, particularly in Lekki Phase 1, doing nothing but waiting to gamble. Read what he wrote below

Ecstasy154: [s]The Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, on Tuesday said majority of the persons who participated at the Peoples Democratic Party presidential rally which held in Sokoto were from neighbouring Niger Republic. The governor, a member of the ruling party, APC, disclosed this during an inauguration of his campaign commitee in Kaduna. The PDP launched its zonal presidential rally in Sokoto on Monday for the North-west. Thousands of people attended the rally which was addressed by the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar; the Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal; and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara. However, according to Mr El-Rufai, many of those that attended the rally were from neighbouring Niger Republic. Mr El-Rufai said the PDP brought these people to show that they have supporters and ”because Sokoto indigenes refused to attend the rally.” He said his governing party, All Progressives Congress (APC), will not allow looters and criminals return to power in 2019. The governor vowed ”to go after each vote during the election” to ensure that Kaduna delivers in 2019. He explained that the ideology of the ruling party and President Muhammadu Buhari is not to share public funds to few individuals ”but to work and improve the lives of the ordinary Nigerians.” “Thieves have ganged up against President Muhammadu Buhari. Yesterday (Monday) they (PDP) went to Sokoto for a rally and brought in people from Niger Republic,” the governor said. ”This was to show that they have crowd because Sokoto people refused to attend.” “Our people should be assured that the very day Buhari will come to Kaduna, all our people that will receive him will be Kaduna indigenes and not people from Niger. “We will fight for every vote and persuade our people that you will only secure victory for the party you support when you vote on election day,” he said. The governor also added that Kaduna has about 500,000 new voters, with Kaduna North Local Government Area recording 60,000 voters alone. He also flayed the PDP saying in its16 years of governance, the party “left more than 400 primary schools of the state in a very bad condition.” The PDP governed Kaduna from 1999 to 2015 before Mr El-Rufai of the APC defeated the then incumbent PDP governor. Mr El-Rufai charged his campaign team members to go down to the grassroots to mobilise people to come out and vote on election day. “We must run a grassroots campaign to mobilise our supporters on election day. We will not vote for hypocrites, we will not vote for criminals and we will not vote for those who cannot afford to ‘barb’ their hair,” he said[/s].

Dailyhappenings: It’s beyond doubt that Nina of Big Brother Naija: Double Wahala had one helluva time during her time in the Big Brother house, most especially with her love interest, Miracle, who emerged winner of the game show earlier tonight.
During her eviction interview, Nina had said that her relationship with Miracle will definitely continue after the house – a stance which is in total contrast of what she said weeks ago.
Some two to three weeks back, Nina had said she and Miracle were just ‘friends’ in the house and she didn’t see what they had then continuing outside the house.
Well, it’s obvious the past few weeks changed her and she has a different story to tell now… Let wait and see what the future holds for her after the house.
showboi222: Truth be told, true reporting is dead in Nigeria. No more critical review. We Nigerians are now like dummies that we take everything hook, line and sinker. We dont evaluate and ask questions anymore. Anyone who critically review our leaders will be term ipod or afonja; our artistes, haters.
The other day, Oyemike told DJ cuppy the truth about her recently dropped song, and he was blasted everywhere online as haters. Osagie said similar thing about MI. All hell was let loose on the poor guys. Where is Chocolate City with MI as the President? Chocolate city that once pride as one of the best record label in Nigeria. But ass-lickers around MI and the PR press wont let him hear the truth
Can DJ cuppy perform that wack song on same stage where music enigma like Beyonce, Jayz, Usher and even Coffee of South Africa who was the performing DJ/Artiste with Usher and Pharell Wiliams yesterday were setting the stage on fire? That is absolutely 'impossicantility' of highest of the highest order!
We celebrate mediocre here in Nigeria. See wizkid performing on stage and seemed like no one was here. He was just walking and couldnt connect with the crowd. Infact, there was no communication with his DJ that he had to tell him twice to increase the tempo because the truth is, they were not feeling your wizkid!
Then Tiwa Savage...my Doro Tiwa went on stage to further embarrass the nation Naija further. Tiwa's hypeman was shouting too much and drowning her voice on her own stage. It was a poor sight to behold!
A Niniola or Yemi Alade would have shut the stage down with mesmerizing performances. A Davido, yes, same frog-voice Davido would have lit the stage on fire even with his 'noise'. Though less vocal than Wizkid but his energy up and down any stage would have caused some havoc. Good havoc! the Tubaba would have on a 'FIA' level
Then came the legendary Femi Kuti and perform true to his billing and to the rescue of his counterpart
Then came again the most incredible entertainer out of Africa, Dbanj. He was a million star on the stage. His stagecraft was electrifying. They loved his stage presence and could go on and on if there was time. Infact a South African lady mentioned that although Dbanj needs to enter studio with a good producer who will help make a hit, he had a star power that was rare among performing artistes
Casper Nyovest was too good. He was damn too great on stage. Infact, Chris Martins of Coldplay even came to lace his booth live on the stage! What about Usher and Pharell williams? Magnificent!
Please dont bother to mention Ed. That guy was totally something else. He was his own choir master, guitar man, piano man, backup artiste, band and lead singer. He was just too much that people even forget there was anyone like Tiwa or wizkid on that same stage earlier
The truth is what sells our artistes here in Nigeria is just PR. No more critical review. Imagine wizkid saying live on stage, 'let's drop the African biggest song of the year in 2018' and went on to play 'soco'. That tha heck!! Who dashed him or the song biggest song of the year. Same mediocre artistes will be carting the highest numbers of awards every year when we have music power houses here in this country but never give the right platform or PR to shine!
Once some of our so called big artistes drop songs, go to social media and come and see comments hailing some of those wackos and gibberish jingles that radio and TV stations would wash down our throat. Live performance at the Global Citizen concert really exposed some of our so-called African biggest artistes!
Did you noticed as everywhere was quiet in Nigeria after the concert after our PR paying artistes performed below par. That is how we are not calling a spade what it is. That is how our artistes are not been put under immense pressure to justify the heavy money been paid to them per show. Imagine what Ed made from Tour last year which was close to $400 million. ONLY FROM TOUR! And one Teckno who can hardly play any live concert would come on social media and say 'voice was damaged' due to so much live events' performance? Did he mean all his CDs he has been performing from are now cracked or damaged? It's so pathetic!
Note this. When you have friends who hail every of your activities and cant look into your eyes and tell you the truth. Move asap or be ready for your own unpardonable downfall!
IamD18: You mean a married man is cheating with this lady that looks like an improper fraction, why are some married men stupid? Why housing a wife if you ain't tired of numerous pussy? I condemn that.
With that being said. These fish brained ladies never cease to amaze me.
A 25 years grown up lady boasting of being a side chick and indirectly exposing her level of stupidity for the world to see.
Well, need I be surprise? No! Why?
Because she's one of the unmarried ladies causing nuisance, parading and claiming that they are building their career on social media, while in reality, they are desperately worshiping preeqs, they are home breakers, jumping from one married man to another, not bothering to ask themselves why they haven't gotten their man. Oh! I forgot, they are building their career in a pussycal way
She's a typical example of most single ladies on social media forming career, the only difference is that she's abusing the privileged of being stupid by exposing herself.
Social media single career women should come and carry their member oo
