Nigerians caused it by granting Deji Adeyanju audience in whatever nonsense and rubbish he says. I have said it from the beginning, Deji has no concern whether Nigeria becomes a better or safer country. Rather, his concern is to support Tinubu while appearing as if he helping or trying to solve the situation in Nigeria through review of other candidates.

What kind of Governor will leave a working system to experiment on something that has not been done before? The end result was a total mess in Lagos. This has to do with the waste management in Lagos. A serious government will think of how to work on the existing for better performance. You don't start doing trial by error in a state as Lagos.

What Governor will think of importing small size vehicles for Lagos state government to manage as transportation services when there is serious traffic in Lagos? Shouldn't he think of how to manage the existing and proffer solutions to the traffic gridlock in Lagos while also trying to decongest vehicles plying the road daily with other means of transportation made available?

Let me inform you that Lagos as a whole was created in 1967. It was in 1967 that Ikeja and other areas were added to Lagos to make it the Lagos it is today. To tell you the federal government didn't occupy half of a local government to begin with. The areas that became Lagos today was under the southwest region which Awolowo was overseeing. As a matter of fact, Ikeja was the brainchild of Awolowo.

That being said, Go check on what Lagos was generating before 1999 when Tinubu took over. It was meagre. Lagos was already becoming like Old Calabar state at the time Tinubu took over. Tinubu revamped Lagos and turned around the revenue of Lagos. Not only did he increase Lagos' revenue but his legacies and achievements are littered all over Lagos whereas your useless Peter Obi has nothing to speak of.

Now on the question why Tinubu chose a Northern Muslim despite being a Muslim. It's a political strategic move. He chose a Northern leader from the core North which happens to be a Muslim since almost all the Northern leaders are Muslims anyway.

You all know that most of the leaders in the South are Christians while Muslims are the majorities in the North. Let imagine for example that a Northern Christian happened to get the presidential ticket of a huge platform, who do you think he would choose as his deputy in the South? Of course a popular Southern who may eventually end up being a Christian. Why? Because majority of the leaders in the South are Christian hence choosing one of the popular Southern leaders could end up being a Christian. That was exactly what Tinubu did. It's a political strategic move.

That's why religion shouldn't be a determinant in any settings because it's only a personal thing. Imagine if Shettima was only seen as a Northern Nigerian while Tinubu was seen as a Southern Nigerian. That already balanced the equation and criteria needed instead of bringing in religion into the prism. Point is when you look at Europe, American and Canada, they don't care about your religion whether you're Christian, Muslim or Atheist. What they care about is your competence irrespective of your religion. You wouldn't care about the religion of a doctor who's to operate on you but his competence. Religion shouldn't be a ticket for you to get your way out of your incompetence and I'm talking about Peter Obi who achieved absolute nothing in his Anambra state.

Meanwhile, I believe Tinubu chose Shettima as his deputy because Zulum was Shettima's protégé. Zulum would have been the perfect fit but he wanted a second term as a governor hence Shettima. This isn't about religion.
