Politics › Re: 2023: Disqualify Candidate Missing At Debates - Pat Utomi by Nauttyprof(m): 7:08am On Nov 14, 2022 |
lhordspy: With all due respect in the world, i think Prof. Pat Utomi is high on some cheap drugs.
Just look at him making references to South-Korea political settings just like a clueless Peter Obi will always do when trying to dodge and maneuver his way cunningly when been faced with discussions far above his intellectual capacity.
Firstly, the main aim of political debate is to educate, and elucidiate your plans for a greater country and stress more on why people should vote for you.
But in Nigeria here where we have a very silly journalist and supposedly debate organisers or interview host conniving with opposition parties to plan your downfall. Throwing cheap subs in a very obvious manner at a specific candidate.
A very smart man like Asiwaju Tinubu will rather spend his time making political moves, strategising, meeting the main voters and discussing his plans with them RATHER than honouring a mediocre comedy show of a debate which was poorly coordinated, where 80% of the viewers will be the same people sitting at the front of their TV on Election day and on their phones gossiping away about the election rather than going out to vote.
Elections are not won by jumping on every interview or debate to seek public validations but by meeting the real voters directly through town hall meetings and engagements, telling them your plans face-to-face. If your candidate does not have anything to hide or has a clean record or a very good history, he should not avoid any form of debates. Debates are meant to make us know if this candidate has the interest of country at heart and also if this person has a good past history to be fit for such position. It is not a case of talking about your plans but revealing your kind of person to us. |

This won't solve the problem. Senators are only acting on the surface. Is it not the same Nigeria where an Individual will get names of several people promising them of a genuine support from the FG. In the long run, the support won't get to these individuals. Rather, those who collected these names will get the money for themselves.
So, this could definitely apply here. It will be a case of ghost workers |

Health › Re: I've Not Seen My Period For Almost 7weeks Now, Yet I'm Not Pregnant by Nauttyprof(m): 6:49am On Sep 11, 2022 |
It could possibly be infection. Have the lab run some test on your urine and vagina samples. This could be the cause.
Also, you could run some scan to be sure no baby is developing in the womb before taking further step in cleansing your body system and drugs that will cause a forced menstruation. When the menstration comes, I would still advise that you cleanse your body system well as infection can be stubborn.
If it is not any of the above, then hormonal imbalance could be the problem. Please, carry-out the first step which is Lab test. |

TetFund is doing wonders in our varsities. Their building Projects are classy. I am neither a govt official nor an APC member. I a concerned Nigerian citizen So, it is building projects that will make our universities world class? When I see post like this, I just weep for this country as we contribute to the woes faced in this country. Ask any Nigerian who studied abroad after having his or her undergraduate program in Nigeria, if he or she can boast of the fact that their foundation knowledge helped a lot in their Master's or Ph.D you would be shocked at what they will give as response. Some had to go through the phase of shedding bitter tears after getting to know that they need a lot of catching up to do and here you are bragging about rubbish. The truth is that our universities are in shamble. Imagine universities offering engineering, computer science, medicine and other technical or scientific programmes without good 21st century laboratories and well equipped. Here you are stating buildings as if the buildings make a better graduate. It's really sad. |

The OP writes as if he is a foreigner. Not paying the 6 months Arrears will extend the strike and the government will have no option but to pay for more months.
Our politicians do nothing and yet get paid and receive several allowances. Did anybody query our senators when they didn't meet the number of seating expected of them? Yet, they collected all salaries and allowances due to them. Did anybody query our politicians who leave their duties to travel just for personal gains? Yet, they get fully paid.
We need to start asking questions. ASUU on their part is fighting for a just course. Our educational system is absolutely rubbish. Equipment used in laboratories are of 18th century when we are in 21st century. Must we continue this way? One of the reasons these same politician run to other countries for medical treatment is basically due to the foundation - poor educational system. They don't trust our professionals and it is not just about the facilities. We keep blaming ASUU but we fail to attack the government whose priority isn't about education but cattle ranching, inflated infrastructure and many other wrong allocations from the budget. If all the figures padded into the infrastructure project are gathered, this would have solved many issues in the educational system. |
