Ask any Nigerian who studied abroad after having his or her undergraduate program in Nigeria, if he or she can boast of the fact that their foundation knowledge helped a lot in their Master's or Ph.D you would be shocked at what they will give as response. Some had to go through the phase of shedding bitter tears after getting to know that they need a lot of catching up to do and here you are bragging about rubbish.

The truth is that our universities are in shamble. Imagine universities offering engineering, computer science, medicine and other technical or scientific programmes without good 21st century laboratories and well equipped. Here you are stating buildings as if the buildings make a better graduate. It's really sad.

The OP writes as if he is a foreigner. Not paying the 6 months Arrears will extend the strike and the government will have no option but to pay for more months.

Our politicians do nothing and yet get paid and receive several allowances. Did anybody query our senators when they didn't meet the number of seating expected of them? Yet, they collected all salaries and allowances due to them. Did anybody query our politicians who leave their duties to travel just for personal gains? Yet, they get fully paid.

We need to start asking questions. ASUU on their part is fighting for a just course. Our educational system is absolutely rubbish. Equipment used in laboratories are of 18th century when we are in 21st century. Must we continue this way? One of the reasons these same politician run to other countries for medical treatment is basically due to the foundation - poor educational system. They don't trust our professionals and it is not just about the facilities. We keep blaming ASUU but we fail to attack the government whose priority isn't about education but cattle ranching, inflated infrastructure and many other wrong allocations from the budget. If all the figures padded into the infrastructure project are gathered, this would have solved many issues in the educational system.

3. Open your eyes and stop doing and begin living as Jesus Christ commands of you, not at your pastors and mogs tell you to instead.

Stick to context. Other scriptures you cited gave their own meaning but Matthew 11:28-30 focused on Jesus' personality and not just obeying commands. Context is important for every translation. I rest my discussion.

He taught that those who build the foundation of their lives in the Kingdom through obedience of His teachings and commandments are those whose foundation is set on on Rock; all others instead set their foundations on sinking sand - Matthew 7 vs 24 - 29 & Luke 6 vs 47 - 49.

So, the question remains why continue with these meaningless rituals when from over 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ informed you of their meaninglessness?.

Like I earlier stated, read Bible in its wholeness and not just take a side to dwell on. What does Matthew 11:29 then mean. Please, before you reply me also check the meaning of imitate.

To have even suggested a half view of what Jesus expect from us, are you also saying the Disciples who directly learnt from Christ got it wrong? While only you had the right view of Jesus' teaching.
