Beremx:Yes, it is wrong but it doesn't exonerate Obi from the accusation too |
Massiveglory:Light will prevail over darkness no doubt about this but please, it is a very bad and terrible mindset to paint Obi as a saint either. He fumbled and please, take it as it is. No one is without a fault. Until we begin to have the right mindset to question even those we hold in high esteem whenever they fail, then we can dream of a new and better Nigeria. Nigeria can never be better if mindset like yours is held. It is really sad. I supported Obi in the last presidential election but I stand on good conscience towards Nigeria alone. |
Odin13:So, you are now doubting Kenneth again? Despite this coming from someone in Labour Party and also a major member who has represented the party on several television platforms. Until we stop this mindset that has brought us to this terrible state we are in Nigeria, before genuine progress can come. Obi is also not a saint as he has his own fault. Admit and accept when he is wrong. Before you come back thinking Tinubu in this matter, I supported Obi in the last election but I stand on true conscience with Nigeria alone as my focus. |
AcuraZDX:The thing about people like you is that once things favour your view, you will begin to sing praises of the person but if it goes otherwise, then, it is propaganda and all sorts. Nigeria can never move forward with this kind of mindset. This is why we keep having leadership problems in Nigeria. I voted for Peter Obi but this does not mean he is also a saint without some faults. |
Zonefree:Well, you chose to join others in poor reasoning. The tweet from LASU suggest that when researches are tweeted, no one takes it seriously but when it is about bakery, it becomes trending news. Anyway, objectively looking at the matter, I came to a conclusion that LASU uses her platform on twitter to tweet things happening in the school and it's only silly holding onto the bakery thing just to criticize. |
Corridon:This just shows how you don't pay attention to your own region but anything about Lagos and the western region is something of interest to you. While you are ready to criticize quickly. The main market in Onitsha is something to go find out which is a very recent happening - https://dailypost.ng/2023/03/21/fire-breaks-out-in-onitsha-main-market/ |
abobote:That is not journalism. It is aluta or protest spirit in journalism. The same person who attacked personality couldn't receive the same attack. He wants to defend himself but no matter the defence, he was also wrong in his own part too. Journalism is you not making obvious where you stand and putting forward questions and will respect whatever answers he gets leaving your audience to be the judge. To turn journalism to an attack because you have an obvious position where you stand is sick |
SmartPolician:You didn't get the politics then. Fayose was against the northern candidate for Presidency. Since his party went for north, he supported the southern candidate from his region. I hope the politics is clear. |
inoki247:You mind the idiots who failed to reason with their heads encouraging nonsense. Now, nothing has changed. Those supporting the policy have kept quiet. I maintained my position back then that it was very wrong for the CBN and the President to suffer Nigerians because of few politicians. Now, the suffering continues despite you having your money, not a loan from the government or any assistance. You can't spend your own money in peace again. It's sick. This government is sick |
ignis:You should start it. Some people just like inciting violence they will never partake in. |
Iamgrey5:Big time hypocrites. They are the origin of tribalism but hate it when paid back in their own coin |
Typicool8:Whether it is the truth or not. Amaechi is also part of the failure. He is a complete failure in governance too. His statement does not exclude himself. |
The Ibos won't rush to this post and speak of the evil in their states and call their fellow man all sort of names. When it comes to other states, they are quick to call names. |
9jahotblog:Anyway, the clueless paperweight is still your governor for another 4 years. GRV is more clueless as I saw nothing in his 100 days action plan. Rather, his intention was to work on your hatred and you happened to fall in his trap too. |
Slynation:But your useless leaders in the SE have not done anything to replicate half of the development in Lagos. Why have you failed to first direct all energies to your states and then, make your states as reference for other states to copy. No, they keep complaining about others while theirs are terrible. |
Acidosis:How does this in anyway scare me? I can't just see any connection? These are 2 different individuals |
No matter the hatred today. Sanwo Olu will definitely win. Many shouting GRV are not sincerely thinking about the progress of Lagos. Rather, they just wanted to prove a point out of hatred. A faulty foundation to build upon. It will definitely collapse. The same GRV who claims to be have studied in MIT and all the best schools in the world is the same person uttering all sort of nonsense today because things are not going his way. Saying how Lagos will burn because of the perceived turnout of the election results. Can't his statements be likened to the same thugs he speaks against? Shouldn't his exposure teach him to be civil enough and go the legal way rather than inciting violence? From day 1 I never believed that he has the capacity to be a governor of a state as Lagos as I believed he worked on the emotons of individuals and their hatred just to see himself becoming the governor. You can attack this comment as much as you can but I do not operate based on hatred to make my choice. Rather, I sincerely and objectively weigh all available options. They say Lagos is not working and everything is upside down but they enjoy every benefit Lagos has offered them because of all efforts made by the government to bring about progress. If the NPC carries out a sincere population census today, Lagos should be ranked the highest population despite the small land mass it has. Why is this happening if Lagos is not working? Why do many of them keep trouping to Lagos despite it not working? The thing is that we are not sincere with ourselves and are not helping the government either. Yes, the government failed in one area or the other but this is not an excuse to close one eyes to the good work around. GRV being a governor will only return Lagos backwards another 10 years or more. Didn't we learn from Ambode? Didn't we learn from APC taking over from PDP at the presidency? Didn't we learn from the past? Obi is a nice candidate for the presidency but it does not mean GRV should also be the governor. These are 2 different matters and the likes of Debo aka Mr Macaroni just wants his own aim achieved without necessarily looking at the future of Lagos. Lagos should not be in the hands of someone who feels all it takes to rule a state is his MIT and other international degrees. This is sick. |
Acidosis:How does Abacha relate to this. I really do not understand how people just type because of hatred or wanting things to go their own way. Nobody said Obi was any better. I voted for Obi in the last election but irrespective of how it went. The court is there for the final judgement. I also mentioned it here that it will be a tough one for him. Obi is also not a saint but just a lesser thief too. We all know several of the terrible deeds from Tinubu but let's shun everything that will lead to violence in this country as nobody will tell a good tale of its outcome. |
Agadinaagwuofe:I was Civil as I never insulted you. I referred to the case. It will be a tough one as mentioned earlier as suppression of vote will also be looked into in SE. Anyway, let's wait patiently for what the Supreme Court will do in this matter as I believe the case will end up at the Supreme Court |
Mylove55:I reason objectively and do not base my judgement on 950k vote without any proof. APC placed a fast one by increasing votes from areas like Ikorodu and Badagry. The results from these two places are what I term 'strange' results |
Agadinaagwuofe:Please, don't bring up nonsense. We all knew what played out in Uzodinma's case and how it was a fraudulent judgement in the case of Supreme court. This is why the guy is forever grateful to the APC government. Uzodinma's case was also a national shame as it was reported everywhere that the judgement was a fraud. |
Mylove55:Lagos is also another. Irrespective of the rigging, I think Obi's aim isn't about just trying to push for his victory but also trying to incite the people against the government. I feel he knows it will be difficult to prove that his votes spread across 24 states. SE is his stronghold and few from SW. How will he prove the 24 states in court? |
Acidosis:Why can't you lead by going to that same place and shout LP there or even PDP? Kindly try this with yourself as a motivation to others to come out. You don't need to vote there. All you can do is to motivate others by your actions by visiting the area and shouting just PDP |
I still don't understand how Obi wants to prove that he has the highest vote in the election and how his vote spread across 24 states. The North we know has the largest votes which I am sure Obi did not near in any case. We also know APC rigged the election in some states but Obi trying to fight something that seems obvious with respect to having the highest number of votes and also having the votes spread across 24 states will be a great a task at the court. I reason objectively and not by emotions. So, please, don't start tackling me based on emotions. |
Beremx:I just wonder how he is coming with just few people in someone's compound doing a video to denounce APC. So, you mean these few represent the entire Alimosho? This is a terrible reasoning |
It is just too easy to type or write out plans. I have not seen any sincere steps in generating revenue to compensate for the shortfalls he keeps cancelling. When you shut down toll gate, how do you compensate for the shortfall from this in taking care of the loans as a result of the PPP arrangement? When you increase salaries of workers, what do you do to compensate for the additional payments the government is making? We keep getting emotionally affected by those who do not understand what really is the government current financial status and will give out all nice looking plans and when they get there, they disappoint. APC did the same thing promising very emotional attractive plans but when they got there and realized the plans couldn't work, they started denying many things being said. This is the usual style from them all. I am not moved by anything written. In all, I will rather vote Sanwo-Olu than attempt to test run Lagos State with this guy. If you come after my post, please read every details clearly to understand that I reason objectively and do not support any party whatsoever. Peter Obi was my option for Presidency but I will stick to Sanwo-Olu for Governorship. I don't need any sentiment or hatred in deciding wrongly. |
Starships4u:Does not apply here as we all see good work done in Lagos. Except if you are blinded by hate |
Naira20:Only hatred makes one blind to good things. He has his flaws but please be sincere to acknowledge good work too. Hatred yields no positive result. Let's wait and see if eventually your man becomes the Governor |
Teeroyzimma:Just the way your sense is dictated by hate |
Naira20:That's if you are God. I don't understand the sudden hate despite this man trying. The person you want to take over government has no governance records at any level. What gives you the assurance that he will perform in a state as Lagos? Anyway, before you start spewing insults, I wish to clear the air that I am not an APC supporter but I will definitely vote for Sanwo-Olu despite his shortcomings as I can see the good work he has done so far. I voted Peter Obi for presidential election but I won't vote the same party for governorship as I don't know this individual. I live by reasoning and not by emotions. May Lagos not be returned to the past. |
I read the post and I have not seen anything to be done differently by the LP candidate. This only suggests to me that many just want to vote simply to carry out their hate and not because they have reasonably sat down to evaluate things. Fine, Sanwo-Olu messed up in some instances especially in matters of youth, this is not a genuine reason to make hate push you or anyone else to vote him out. I read the post and was like it was borne out of hate. If you claim there isn't any infrastructural development in Lagos from the APC government, then, this is definitely not sincere and I won't be supportive of this. I speak to those of clear conscience who irrespective of the wrongs from the Governor can say he truly worked. If I can't say of any, the Mile 2 - Iyana Iba road is enough reason for me to vote him back again. If not, I will suffer an uncompleted project because someone who is coming in newly would want to make name for himself and there would be many abandoned projects. I read the post and never saw anything differently done. Transportation was mentioned and the solution proffered is just what Lagos State is implementing. In skill acquisition, Lagos state started this which can only be improved upon. I just saw more of cheap talks than the sincerity to make any difference. Truly, there are corruptions going on in Lagos state with the funds. This is something APC needs to correct but I will never give a job to someone who has no records in governance but only using his forefathers' records as basis for him to perform when in reality, we know that humans differ. Lagos is too sensitive and great for voting to be done based on hate. We will live to regret it later on. I don't support APC but for this election, I will vote for Sanwo-Olu because he tried despite all shortcomings from him. He deserves my vote. |
God1000:I was here telling everyone who had sense to reason back then that the policy can never stop politicians from rigging or vote buying as they will always think of an alternative. Someone here kept arguing blindly as if these politicians have no sense. It makes no sense to suffer the citizens of Nigeria because of some selected few. In fact, it is pure wickedness. |

25 years after Abacha died, his name still sounds creepy and evil. This shall be the lot of you political bas.tards.
