Yes, i understand the roles of fathers in the house. But mothers plays bulk of it all. Children tend to love their mothers naturally than fathers. It's nature!

Nature has nothing to do with this. While my Dad was alive, we all loved him more than our Mum and this does not suggest that my mother was a bad woman either. Both took care of us while growing up and we all lived under a roof. Infact, the love for our mother only grew stronger after the death of our Dad when we saw all what she had to go through for us. Nature has no play in this matter. Rather, the way and manner they go about handling issues.

Asides the bad fathers around, many love their mothers so much not because of she taking care of them but for the closeness to the kids while growing up and many of the connivance with the children against the Father. Also, when the father disciplines the children, rather than the mother support the man in this, she goes behind him to show love and support to the children. There are many instances where the man will be seen as wicked while the mother will be seen as being the nice and caring type simply due to the she appearing nice before the kids and not supporting the man in times of discipline or training the children on finance issues too. So, the love grows more for the mother without seeing the Labour of the man.

That same organization have not seat for over 7 years. Only the president can call for such seating and it's at his perogrative. The governors are only CSOs on paper. They cannot give order to the police, and the police is not duty-bound to obey them.

Why type lies just to back your wrong view. They still had meeting just last year. Constitution empowers the Governor as the CSO and this is what counts in any legal system. It is just the politics in this Nation that hinders true Federalism from being practised.

There are three parties in the case
1. The victim family
2. The 5 boys families
3. The school
Yes, the family is rich but they needed the cooperation of the school to actually made a headway.
It was the school that threw the spanner in the case. Their insistence that the boy fell while playing ball, gave the families the alibi.
They didn't allow the school in investigate independently. Rather, the made the school appear as culprit.
This might actually be the reason why the school is on same page with the accused, who are connected people in the society.
Why I think the family was too fast?
They were actually accusing the school based on their observations and not medical examinations.
Because they would've sued with their own medical results, so the judge will order for a second independent autopsy.
That will put everyone on caution.
They also said the boy mentioned names? Who was there? But they stampede the school and that made the school to try to protect their image.
If they had allowed the school, they would've disowned those kids and the case won't be bad.
My take though

Please, this does not make any sense. What other independent investigation do you want from a school who immediately released press statement saying the pains were from football. Is this not a conclusion already?

The victim's parents reported to the Police force in Warri which led to the Autopsy in Warri. Remember that this boy was first treated by the parents in a hospital before his death. So, please tell me what action should they have taken when it was evident that the boy was in severe pains due to his leg?

How will you ask about the witness being there when the boy mentioned names? The first question to ask was were the parents wrong in any of the names mentioned? Was there any error in the names mentioned in order to know if it was authentic or not? Did you also know that the school never for once contacted the parents when the issue started?

These people think we are fools who have no thought or reasoning.

Let's look at the case objectively. Both the parents of the Victim and the school agreed on the claim that the boy had severe pains on the leg but did not agree on what caused the severe pain. The school said it was due to football while the parents said it was as a result of being bullied as mentioned by the victim. The victim in video seen was in serious pains.

The question is why did the school release a press statement stating football inflicted pains if the death of the boy was a nutural death? Why did the school try to do everything possible to prove that is was football pains?

This definitely shows that there is something wrong with the Autopsy report for not even identifying or even close to what caused the initial social media noise outside even the dark fluid seen in the victim's system.

Also, investigation by the Police should speak on what really goes on in the school if there is any form of bullying or cultism in the school and not solely rely on Autopsy to draw conclusion. It's like saying the victim didn't die from bullying but this can continue in the school.

There are social media videos including parent of the same school who talked about bullying in the school and how nothing has been done in this regards.

It's really sad.

Firstly, rejection of Commissioner of Police by the Governor doesn't mean the Governor has power to appoint another Commissioner of Police. The IGP was just being magnanimous by sending another one so that the Governor would not put blame on the IGP if there is security breakdown. He was not under compulsion to send another one. Let me ask you a question; If Amaechi had rejected a Commissioner of Police sent to Rivers during his rift with Jonathan, do you think the Commissioner would be replaced? We both know the answer.

Nigerian Police Council membership of the governors does not give governors any power rather it is just to review security situations and how to help the Police .

I am trying to get where I kept a memoir by Donald Duke that touched a Police Commissioner sent to a State ( not Cross River). That was during Obj. The governor first settled (money & fixed asset) the Commissioner on resumption in the State for anticipated cordial working relationship. We all know other things will follow also.

There is no magnanimity in what the IGP did. This is what state Governors do when they know they can't work with the deployed CP on security issues of the State. The IGP has no option but to accept the request of the Governor and deploy a new CP instead.

The implications is that this has made Commissioner of Police sent to some Southern States very rich as the Governor has to bribe his way with money and fixed assets for them to work together. This is very pathetic.

The State Commissioner of Police is not appointed by the Governor but the Governor can reject any Commissioner of Police sent to his state. This happened in Lagos State and of recent in Ogun state where the Governor rejected Edgar as CP for Ogun state. So, tell me if the Governor is still a ceremonial CSO. We don't practice true Federalism and this is the truth.

This situation once happened when Chidi was replaced with a guy back then which affected the show. I expected the organisers to have learnt from this. Anybody they intend using must be better than Chidi Mokeme if they still want the show to retain its popularity.

I made a thread that's clearly backed by scriptures, especially the teachings of Christ, about the most important things in this life, such as repentance and the obedience of God's Word, which ought to be placed above the lesser things as church-going on the last night of the year, and youade the blunder of saying, that everything I said wasn't scripturally backed. Even after I showed you how highly flawed that saying was, instead of admitting it, you're still here claiming what you lack knowledge of.

It's only blind sentiments that would make you misinterpret this to mean that I'm against the church gathering, because it's clear that I was only speaking of one night, just one night, which is the last night of the year.
