The Solution to this problem is for Lagos State Building Control Agency to operate like Banks. They should have branches in all parts of the state.

Also, every phase of the work must be approved by them before proceeding. In this way, this collapse issue can be reduced if not prevented

Besides, granite truly is the major component of concrete but please, don't misinterprete the details. A cubic meter has granite then, sand to fill the voids while cement acts as the binding agent. So, all are needed. This was how mix ratio was developed.

While I don't dispute any of your Comment, I just want to correct this - Architects truly design and it is in the aspect of producing a drawing of the building with several views of the building. Also, Civil Engineers do what we call Structural Design and this aspect has to do with the design of the structural members of a building that will sustain or ensure that what the Architect drew can come to reality. It is called Structural Design in Civil Engineering. Civil Engineers will just say design.

I do not think this is applicable now. Anybody who tries to serve meal at this time to visitors should expect them to finish the plate and even ask for more if possible.

I remember a day when we tested a visitor and he never disappointed. The plate was full to the brim and we even questioned ourselves if this visitor could finish the meal. To our surprise or even expectation, this man took his time, adjusted his belt and finished every grain of rice.

I think sellers have this policy of selling to their first customer for the day or selling all they have left when the market is about to close for the day. This very day my mother priced meat from N1,000 to N500 being the first customer. At one point the meat seller wasn't comfortable and my mother left. Only for the seller to call her back, the next thing was for my Mum to price it further to N300. To me, the meat was too much for the amount. At the end, she got the meat for N400 after spending close to 30 mins on back and forth.

Not totally correct. Wike rather learnt from Lagos error and did the right thing. Lagos had taken the FG to court on the issue of VAT which the court turned down the case and stated that the case should have been between the state and the agency empowered to collect VAT (FIRS).

You call them poor innocent ones. If they were that innocent shouldn't they return the Dollars? Didn't you read that they were contacted through emails, sms and calls but they didn't respond?
