Sometimes, I just wonder the reasoning of these low thinking and selfish leaders we have. Always passing the blame. So, America can then say Hollywood is responsible for the gunshots in public places. A sick thought and reasoning from those who are not worthy to be called leaders in the first instance. A leader is meant to critically analyse a situation and come up with solutions but these ones just thought from their anus. Ritual killings are as a result of poor governance. A situation where the economy is in shambles, no job and enabling environment for ideas or business to thrive. A situation where the government has no plan to bring her citizens out of poverty or put an end to hunger. Instead, what we have is high rate of inflation, high exchange rate and everything negative. What they should have thought of is who are behind these ritual killings? Once they get answer to this, they will realise that many are within the youth age bracket. The next question should then be why are these youths involved in this? Nobody pays attention to them. The government is busy with infrastructures that add no value directly in ending the citizens' hunger. Yet, they don't want ritual killings to increase. N.B I am not in support of anyone taking the life of another just because of money. There are always repercussions. |
Emergingnation0:Just like okija shrine. |
This is a sick press release with the aim of passing the blame and also not taking responsibility for issue at hand. How will NNPC tell us that Quality control was put in place for every other thing but not methanol present in the fuel? More like the water corporation can wake up one day and tell us they treated our water but didn't know it still had dissolved sulphur, iron or lead content in it. This response just does not make sense. They are in a way telling us not to trust any test coming from them and users are to bear the risk for their inefficiency. |
soundOsonic:It is you who should listen to yourself. When you don't follow the whole story but think everything has to go by your thoughts? Go get an update on the whole story. |
Eketem:After I tackled the initial, you came up with 'again' If you read the details, you won't even type this nonsense. I hope you saw that DPP has not tendered it before the court. Which suggests that there is a process or procedure. So, please stop say all sorts like a layman. |
Viruses:I tire o. Foul play at work. Just to do everything possible in winning the case |
Eketem:Your reasoning is just something else. I hope you know that the autopsy done in Delta wasn't carried out by the family but by the Police. When the case was brought back to Lagos, the same Police decided to carry out another autopsy. |
Michelle70:Is this about the average Nigerian or the government themselves? Where is the place of Quality Control in ensuring that nothing below standard enters the market? |
There is a prayer that works faster. Do a 3 night prayers standing on one leg. I am telling you a day after these prayers, you will receive miracle alert beyond your 30k. Do this and thank me later ![]() |
kriss27:He never did. List the things he did. Oshodi terminals and what else? |
I do not support Godfather in politics but Ambode messed up while he was a Governor. Many people just because of hatred for Tinubu (who I will never vote for) shut their eyes to the obvious and decide to support someone who isn't fit. A very good case study was waste management in Lagos State where Lagos turned to dump site. This occurred because of Ambode. He wanted everything to be by him and him alone. An existing system is working, the best you can do is to upgrade it to perform better and not to destroy that system for a new fresh idea that has never been test runned before. Go to the secretariat back then and see how he made many redundant. Everything must be from him. Being a governor does not mean you should be carried away by the position. We criticise Tinubu but forget that Fashola was once a Governor and he did 2 tenures. How do you think he achieved this? Of course, he had many supporters who wanted him to continue even when the Godfather wanted otherwise. What happened to Ambode? Where were his supporters? Ambode created more enemies than friends and he paid for this by loosing second term bid. |
nachisunday:Have you forgotten that Amaka can disappoint? |
teddybarz:Zobo? That's way too expensive under Buhari's government and COVID-19. Just Satchet water and Groundnut will do ![]() |
insidelife22:They have done nothing different or new. These people who stepped down will have replacement within their family. So, except that you are requesting for deceptive mode from politicians where Nigeria will be ruled by some families. What our politicians need to do is doing the needful genuinely. |
PrinceOfLagos:While I don't support the so called area boys. Oluomo operates in Lagos only. The report is about Ibadan in Oyo state. Did you read this part of the report? Na wa o |
seunmsg:While citizens die of hunger and poverty increases. Well, maybe there won't be Nigeria again since debts would have risen to the extent that Nigeria will be an extension of another country. Go learn about the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and you will realise that what this government is doing is nothing but scam. Economy is in shambles and you speak of infrastructure. |
naijaboy756:They just remembered the pyramid scam close to election. Just the way they did to make us believe APC was serious by promoting Nigerian rice at a very cheap rate back then. Nigerians better wake up. After election, we will definitely know the real state of the rice. |
This guy's juju no be grace o, na disgrace |
Tinubu has turned to INEC who needs emergency money 2 days to election. |
Can we also look at this from another angle? I am not saying this might be right. How is the apartment settings like of where your bf stays? Is there privacy persay? I mean the mind your business type of settings. With the qualities you mentioned of him, he might be protecting his image in this environment and doesn't want to be seen as someone who have sex with ladies OR he probably has one known lady he has sex with there and doesn't want people in the neighbourhood to know that he sleeps with just more than one lady. Also, rather than fight with him, discuss this with him like two matured adults and let him explain himself. If not, no matter the reason we give here, we might still not solve this issue or be close to the cause of his behaviour. |
blamingthedevil:Also, include that we have more debts than ever before, terrible inflation rate and worst economy that ever before. Thanks to Buhari |
While the fight against crime is a good one in the right direction, the Governor needs to burry his head in shame on this matter. To blame criminality on having the highest number of institution is nothing but lies. Instead, high criminality rate is a proof that the government isn't working and people had to survive through any means possible. Like I stated earlier, I am not against fighting crime but addressing the root cause of this will solve this problem. |
This is a big shame on the FG on the slow motion they spent billions of Naira to deploy as trains despite borrow so much from China and a conceited minister will be acting as if he is above everybody and won't show responsibility by answering questions based on performance and loan gotten. A state in Nigeria is doing things better than the FG. This is really so sad. |
The Nigerian Senators aren't our legislators but the President's Secretaries. All they do is to take minute of the President's meetings and decisions and make them official (a law). |
Emperormartin:Genort Rohr keeps looking for Kanu and Okocha for his team. Always giving excuses to cover up for his poor tactics. |
Gammfreak:Iwobi proved to the coach that he deserves playing from the bench. It's just sad. Nothing special from that guy. |
caracas:Why should the government execute such when there is an application to set aside the previous judgement? |
LibertyRep:Read the post before commenting. It's obvious that you didn't read the details. The Supreme Court realised that the initial judgement given on the matter was based on deceit which was as a result of in-house issue with the Court registry. Tell me if it is right to punish someone unjustly bacause of an in-house issue that didn't involve the person in question. This is the case in GTB vs Innoson. They also quoted from the Law where it is possible for initial judgmeent to be set aside. |
This Punch lady has so much hatred in her towards Tinubu. While I will never vote for Tinubu even if he is the only candidate left for Presidency, I won't close my eyes to some of the things I enjoy in the health sector here in Lagos which many state lacks. I have used the general hospital and asides, the delay in seeing a Doctor. I saw first hand the facilities put in place by the government in hospital. Yes, there are wicked individuals working in these hospitals but as an income earner, I trust the services in general hospitals than any other. I saw her write about Lagos being hell on earth. What do we then call states where Bandits are in operation daily killing people? There is so much hatred in the article but then, I will never vote for Tinubu as he is not needed in the Presidency. He needs to rest and focus on his health. We don't need another greedy leader anymore whose ambition is more important or superior to the citizens. We don't need a wicked leader again. |
CalabarPikin:While you are quick to take side, you need to also know that we are in Nigeria where anything can happen when you challenge anybody in power no matter how small the power might be. Just saying. I will rather not take sides but just be neutral in this situation. He could be into drugs or could be framed for challenging them. |
This man is the worst of Senate President. When they send bills to the President for signing into law, the President will reject most and sign few but the foolish Senate will approve anything that comes from the President. Selfish, Self centred people with no concern for the masses. |
But they played the card of telling Nigerians that it was football inflicted pains. Autopsy self deny their claim too. Which should we accept - Autopsy report or School's press statement? Naija, what a country. |
