helinues:Rejection is always hard to accept by people who have an overestimated sense of themselves, it happens in any gender but is more intense among women due to the belief that every man wants them. |
My only concern is who exactly is paying these girls. Guys are lamenting about how hard the economy is, yet these girls are thriving in the hook up business of which 99.9% of their customers are males. So who is paying them? |

YungTemy:Groundnut soup tastes almost like egusi soup. In fact they both have similar texture. |
I don't have best soup...but I love the following because I eat them often. * Ofe Nsala (white soup) * Afang soup. * Egusi soup. * Ogbono/Okra soup. * Egburegbu (It's a native Edda soup) although I don't eat this one often cos you won't find it anywhere outside Afikpo, I still love it. |
zedegit:If you have a high sexual drive, marry a woman who's sexual urges would match yours. It's that simple, so that you won't spend every night begging for sex like s hungry orphan. |
Is all these necessary, how would sponsoring it being development to the region. Religion has destroyed this country. He's just doing this to gain acceptance with the north. |
I'm only interested in how he managed to sustain his erection for the 300 times she raped him. 🙄 |
You're not broke you're just lazy. You have an Android phone, you have data, what else do you want? Go to any car dealer and tell them you'd like to become their marker, discuss terms and conditions with them. Take pictures of some of their cheap cars and spread them across all your social media channels. Once calls start coming in, add like 100k on top of the price given to you by them, they might beat it down to 50k. If you play your cards well, you'll sell the car and make a profit of 50k. If you're selling at least 2 cars per month, you should be able to survive until you've made a name for yourself. Most of all these popular car dealers you see around you, that's how they started. If you sit there posting account details up and down, no one would waste his hard earned money crediting a young and agile guy with two hands and two legs. Go out there and Hussle! |
Micheal56:The problem is that a lot of Nigerian parents lack exposure, and make decisions based on their myopic understanding of events and happenings around them. If the boy is above 20 he can go ahead and out computer science in his jamb. If he's lucky to gain admission, he should study his course comfortably. That kind of myopic father wouldn't have any idea of what he's son is studying in the university. |
Till date, I see nothing wrong with her kind of music. You obviously haven't been to the east and is using Lagos standards to rate her. Go to any Eastern church on a Sunday and the choir decides to sing any of her song and watch how people would dance and forget themselves. That's a clear sign that people still love her music. |
VeryWickedMan:Lol...@NURTW. You're truly a very wicked man. ![]() |
helinues:Oga this isn't an opposition. I'm just stating the obvious reality. I'm not a slave who nods his head like an agama lizard just because I'm being fed with some crumbs of bread, I'm a tax paying Nigerian so I believe I have every right to object if I feel that a particular government project wouldn't benefit the average Nigerian on the long run. |
It's no longer news that the Federal Government under president Tinubu has officially approved the student loan scheme, whereby students would be able to access government loans and pay upon graduation once they're able to secure jobs. Now let's look at it realistically. Cos we were told that the loans would be made available to Federal and state University students, Federal and state Polytechnic students and federal and state college of education students. There are about 43 Federal Universities in Nigeria. And there are about 48 State Universities as well. There are 37 Federal Polytechnics And about 51 State Polytechnics. I didn't bring colleges of education into this calculation. Let's focus on the Universities for now...43 Federal Universities plus 48 State Universities would give us a total of 91 government universities. If we have an average of 10,000 (ten thousand) students per institution, it means that for 91 institutions, we'll have a total of about 910,000 students in all government universities across the country. With the removal of subsidy on tuition fees, if you're to break down the total expenses of a student per academic session, it's definitely going to be more than a million naira. Why? 1. Universities would ensure that the amount you pay for tuition fees, would be able to cover up for the subsidized amount the government would no longer be paying to them. So students should expect anything from 700k upwards. 2. VCs would bring up a handful of useless fees just to extort students the more, thereby making federal and state universities more expensive than private. 3. Prices of lodges would triple cos landlords would believe that you're on student loan so you have money. 4. With the fuel subsidy removal, transportation and feeding would triple, making you spend more. 5. Cost of photocopy, printing, scanning...etc, would triple as well making your IT, Seminar and Project cost look like marriage list. So by the time you add all these expenses, you'll discover that even 1m wouldn't be enough for you for a complete academic session. The government has been telling us that they're broke, so how do they intend to fund this project? Now according to the loan agreement, you're to bring a guarantor who's at least a grade 12 civil servant. Question is how many people with such status would agree to stand in as guarantor for a Nigerian student to access government loans for 4-5 years, knowing fully well that anything can happen to the person in the cause of those years, thereby making them responsible for servicing a loan they didn't take. Therefore finding a guarantor would be a Herculean task unless your parents decides to stand on your behalf. Then in situations where both parents are poor or dead, what happens to the poor student. So he or she wouldn't go to school cos he couldn't provide a guarantor? So let's say about 25% of the total applicants are able to meet up with the criteria, and accessed the loans, using 1m as average amount given by the government. So 25% of 910,000 total students would give us 227,500 students. 227,500 students x 1,000,000 naira loan = 227,500,000,000. (two hundred and twenty seven billion five hundred million naira) Note. This is just for universities, we haven't added Polytechnics and colleges of education yet. If the Federal Government starts paying over 200bn yearly to University students as loans, The question is how long can they sustain it? Ordinary SIWES which is for just science and engineering faculties I did in my 300l, I got paid after my NYSC. Infact I've already forgotten about the money when I got the alert one faithful day. Secondly, how do they expect the remaining unlucky 75% to cope with the newly inflated fees? You removed subsidy on tuition fees knowing fully well that minimum wage is still below 50k is that a wise decision? How do they expect the struggling ones amongst them to cope? Wouldn't it be safe to say that sooner or later education would be strictly for the rich in Nigeria? Then for the lucky 25% who were able to access the loans, what guarantee do they have that upon graduation they'll get jobs, knowing how difficult it is to get a job in Nigeria today. What if they sneak out of the country for greener pastures? What if they die, in the case of deaths, what happens? Is there any system on ground for the government to recover back their money? I don't hate Tinubu, but I don't see anything good coming out of this student loan project. Cc Seun Mynd44 Nlfpmod Mukina2 Dominique |
crestedaguiyi:What if after buying it 1kg of gas increases to almost 1k, what then? This is Nigeria where any nonsense is possible. |
200k income in a house of 400k per annum isn't bad. That's like two months salary. However, knowing how some landlords behave, I'll suggest you look for ways to boost your income by getting a side Hussle, cos in a few years time, you might find yourself paying over half a million for that same house. (I'm speaking from experience) Secondly if you're looking for a house to rent especially on the mainland, avoid renting houses built by developers. Reason being that their rooms are usually abnormally small cos they're trying to manage space, and their rent is extremely expensive. As if that's not enough, they would keep increasing it every year because they're trying to recover the money they used in building the house. Make sure that the house you're paying for is an old building managed by the landlord or an estate firm. That way, rent increment would be like every 4 or 5 years. Finally, make sure that the house has pre-paid meter in all the flats. A friend told me around March that NEPA brought brought a bill about 60k for him. (He stays in a 3bedroom flat) imagine paying that kind of amount monthly as bill....you'll slide into depression. So no matter how the agent tries to sweet talk you into paying, if there's no pre-paid meter, turn your back and leave... Good luck. |
Reelmii:As in eh! Nigerian youths are just silly. |
I wish him the best of luck. |
GloriousGbola:That's Nigerians for you. You see that pure water eh! It's horrible. I saw a thread here on Nairaland where nafdac arrested some people producing it in their dirty backyards. Only God would save us in this country. Nigerians lack creativity. We just want to reap the hard work of others. It's so wrong. |
Proserpina:Finally...a female accepts that what her fellow female did was wrong. Proserpina:In church today my pastor said that whatever we declare and exercise our faith, we would have it. So receive party jollof rice in Jesus name...I've declared. You can now open your pot in faith and eat the rice. ![]() |
Proserpina:The thread didn't say cocktail of 12k, it said food. And you've been shouting this cocktail since we started talking, if cocktail is "hungrying" you, better talk now o, make we know wetin we go do for you. 🙄 |
