1.3m for a 2bedroom apartment on a salary of 400k per month is on the high side. You need to work on your rent. Get an agent on the mainland. I'm sure he'll you'll get decent 2bedroom flats (or one bedroom flat) which would definitely be way cheaper than your current place.

From your post, you work from home. So why would you need to use the car for 5-6 days. If you're using a 4 cylinder engine and you fill your tank, it should last you for up to 2 weeks (or more) provided you're not a Waka Waka person.

If you work from home, I'll suggest you get a laptop with very strong battery, that way you can still remain online for hours after power outage. Also, get a rechargeable standing fan. The one I bought lasts up to 7hours when fully charged. This would help you at night so you can preserve your fuel and won't have to put on the gen if the weather gets hot. That way your gen would only be put on when you want to work and have low battery. With the new fuel price, one has to adjust in order to survive.

If you like cooking, I'll advise you to stock your kitchen with provisions. Yam, rice, beans, noodles, beverages...etc. The cost of procuring these stuffs would be high no doubt, but for the next few months, you won't have to buy anything. Meaning you'll have lots of money to save.

Close eye and get a washing machine. So that this 4k per month can be channeled to something else.

You'll have to cut your coat according to the cloth. You can skip breakfast, eat a light lunch and have swallow for dinner. Everything shouldn't be more than 1k. Meaning you'll be saving 1k. That's something if you ask me.

Auto maintenance is basic brake pads, shocks, service 2mths, tire guage, police pr, tire purchase if any, minor touch ups etc... nothing major.

Unless your car is Nigerian used, running these checks and changes every month isn't necessary and a complete waste of money. I changed my break pad September last year and this is May, I'm still using it. Same with shock, Tyre...etc. As long as you bought a decent car, it won't be swallowing up your money every now and then.

If you're using your gen for 2hours or less per day, 20 liters should last you more than a month. Most especially if you're in an area where power supply is decent.

If he sells the parallel rate or black market then dollar will not reduce but increase.

If dangote sells cheaper to naija customer that means Nigeria is paying dangote subsidy.

I don't know much about Awo, so I won't write much about him. All I know is that he gave free education to the SW and lost his presidential ambition to shagari.

As for MKO, IBB had no plans of relinquishing power to a Southerner that's why he canceled the June 12 election. MKO's biggest error was ordering Gen Abacha to step down and calling his government an illegal one. If he had just waited patiently and not confront the military, who knows, Gen Abdusalam might have handed over to him in 1999 and not Obasanjo.

Tinubu reminds me of one proverb that used to reign during my university days when I newly gained admission. They'll say... "Person way de read na him serious, person way pass na him know book" this proverb as I came to understand was meant for those who were ready to do whatever it takes to pass their courses, copying, impersonation, sorting...etc. So when the results are out and you see one unserious student clearing all his courses, don't be surprised.

We all heard our New president's inaugural speech earlier today, and how he openly declared that fuel subsidy is over.

That declaration has been sending shock waves across the nation, especially the business oriented ones cos they know that the resultant effect would be that they'll start purchasing fuel for up to N700 per liter, hence my urge to start this thread.

I went out to check the fueling station closest to where I stay here in Lagos, unfortunately they were locked, they had no fuel.

So please kindly tell us how much a liter of fuel is in your location.

If you read your Bible from Genesis to revelation, you'll discover that God left choosing of spouse to man since he's the one that's going to live with the spouse.

Only in rare cases we see God specifically choosing a spouse for someone. Even the Bible says he who finds a wife finds a good thing... meaning it's the man that must do the finding and not God.

Now let's examine your question...

1. The will of God. This is the most confusing, cos till date churches have refused to tell us in clear details how to know God's will for you in marriage. All they'll tell you to do is to pray.

Many girls are unmarried today because they're waiting for the will of God. Even the ones who haven't heard anything from God since they were born and have been living their lives like they don't care, sleeping around with reckless abandon, would suddenly want to hear God's will and voice for their marriage once they see that age isn't on their side.

Many would turn you down even if you tell them that God said they're your wife, and you're not financially loaded...they'll tell you that they need time to pray and confirm from God, and if in the process of praying and confirming, they see someone who's more financially stable than you, they'll dump you and God's voice like hot potato and move on with the guy.

The truth is that most people waiting for God's will end up becoming victims of their pastor's manipulation, cos he'll match make them with people they're not compatible with and call it God's will. This as you know would lead to horrible marriages.

2. Marrying your best friend. I would have preferred this, but see finish would not allow that marriage work. Marriage is about respect, and no female best friend you have been with for over a year, who knows you inside out would give you that.

She can unknowingly tell you to shut up in public, or call you a goat, or refer to you as a drunkard...etc, and no man would be able to put up with a spouse who uses such insulting words on him. Meaning sooner or later that marriage would crash. I have some female friends I've known for years, but can never marry them. Not that they're bad, they're not, but over familiarity between us over the years as a result of our friendship would make them not take me serious in marriage.

3. Who you love. This is the best provided she feels the same way... she would respect you, do things and say things that won't hurt you.

So my advise to you is to follow your heart and go for the one you love. But like I stated above, make sure she reciprocates your love so it wouldn't be a one sided affair.

If his ATM card wasn't compromised by a scammer and his funds wiper out, my best guess is that your husband took a loan and in the process binded his account hence the Debit. Tell him to show you the debit details of the transaction, either the SMS or email, the purpose of the transaction would be boldly written on the debit alert.

This symptom you just complained about is synonymous with something called torque converter shudder. The problem was common with 2012-2013 toyota camrys amd some Venza model years. The fix is to change the torque converter. This is not an easy/quick job. And if you're getting a torque converter, buy the one removed from a 2014 camry gearbox. The problem was fixed in that model year.

And do you scan as well, cos one of the mechanics I took it to, after scanning it told me that it's transmission fluid, that the fluid was bad and it affected the gear. So I'll either fix the gear box or buy a complete new one.
