Wily*Wily:

Fake Prophet Kekere Bakare is one of those fake Yoruba prophet, nothing good have ever come out of him.
He wanted to deceive Nigeria with his "i am man of God" rhetoric.
Yorubas like to disturb Nigerians with their yeye protest, if this Yeye Yoruba Failed Prophet (Kekere Bakere) organize and disturb our peace with his Yoruba and dirty stinking Hausa/Fulani thugs again, Jonathan should send him to Calabar prison, Kekere should remember that in Calabar prison Awolowo suffered many times from diarrhea.

Seun, can we please have a (dislike) tab ?

dounleedee: Sometimes, the digression on this forum exposes the thin cord that binds us together and makes it easier to understand why Nigeria is a failed project.
It has now become the order of the day for Nigerians to spool back crimes committed by previous governments and individuals in defence of the subsisting rot in our polity when it is so obvious that their reasoning is simply influenced by bigotry.
The honest truth about Nigeria is simply that all the constituent ethnic groups are guilty of corruption either actively or passively.
It is criminal for anyone to excuse or justify the idleness and lack of will of the current government in tackling corruption by referring to the past.
If GEJ is honest and transparent, it will be a spring board for him to curb the rot in his domain and the panacea to deal with past public officials indicted or accused of corruption. No practical Nigerian can allude corruption to GEJ and neither are we expecting GEJ to rid the land of corrupt practices.
What Nigerians are desirous of seeing is a president who is committed to fighting corruption in deeds and actions and not through mere rhetorics.
you are so on point! So because past leaders failed to correct the wrongs of Government. Then GEJ too has no responsibility in fighting Corruption. I literally cry when i hear people say 'Shey na Jona hand, Country take spoil ?' i begining to wonder the reason for him being elected as the president Federal Republic of Nigeria ?

Religion / Re: What Nollywood Tells Us About Nigeria by ndigbo: 3:04pm On Oct 19, 2012
@atbu1983, you are just right on spot!
I couldn't done it better than you did! We(Nigerians) should remove this mentality of getting rich quick and do things our children will be proud of.
I asked a kid, what he would like to be when he grows older, he response 'i will be a rich man with plenty houses and cars.

What would you do (profession) to acquire such wealth ?
He muted for a couple of seconds and said anything.

My point is the kid doesn't know what he wants to become tomorrow but certainly knows he wants to own houses and cars! It's that bad.
we all have jobs to do by giving old and young, especially the Younger ones orientation of how we should take Nigeria to the next level through science and technology. Else what we are seeing now will be childs play for our tomorrow.

the two of you are very foolish, western education, islamic state, or whatever be their reason, is it not innocent people that lost their life at the end of the day, both of you are here engaging in debate like you are in sought of competition, this is how you will speak english at the end you do nothing, If this fight and madness is only going to end in front of your computer or phone whatever you are using, then i suggest both of you just close your mouth and go continue your madness elsewhere, when will Nigerians stand up and bring down this few people that think they are untouchable and play politics with the life of innocent people, we all are sitting in front of computer refreshing your browser, to see the latest sad news that going to be post here and you start derailing the thread with senseless and useless argument, if you so care and want to make a change, engage people in your town, area or state match to the govt. house in your state and go express yourself and the need for them to secure the people and take the business of leadership serious and not playing with almost 160 million people if we are still up to, until everyone take the bull by the horn and engage a fight with the govt. to stop this madness we are going to come here and argue over nothing when people die everyday, it has happen in other countrys and they got tired and decide to take their destiny in their hand, and it work for them, if you cant do this and everyother people follow suit, then keep your mouth SHUT and remain SILENT forever and keep enjoying what ever you see, of you cant stay go to Ghana, Niger or togo, everyone is afraid to die, yet death is coming closer and you still sit in front of computer and rant like a mad dog, foolish people, i pitty NIGERIANS

rhymz:
Oga it is obvious you have not been following the goings-on in Nigeria's polity either.
Aganga invited KPMG, an audit firm to audit NNPC and PPPRA and they submitted their reports to the FG through the finance minister who then was Aganga.
Though the FG did not make the report public but they obviously acted on it by removing the subsidy regime Mr Bakare and his Friend Odumakin so vehemently want FG to instal. That report roped business men including the ones that are card carrying members of your darling opposition parties. Where did you think the claims of NNPC mismanaging funds in the tune of 1,6 trillion naira came from if not KPMG report? Most of what Lawal's report contains have already been revealed by the KPMG report.
Although it was clear the FG was reluctant to go public with it, however, the petroleum minister blamed it on the fact that she was not given a copy of the report. Whatever the reason, one fact is established here; the FG actually was the first to initiate any probe, investigation or auditing of the oil industry, Mr Odumakin can take his twisted tales to the pope. People should learn to criticize constructively and objectively, deliberately finding loopholes only shows insincerity and desperation to propagate a dishonest agenda. I too have not been impressed by GEJ's over all performance but I still think there is room for improvement and people, especially the SW critics should tone down on the way they politicize every action the man makes....na wa o
Onyema, weldone ooo! I dey see ur hand work here! I would have loved to engage you on here. but will save it, till U come home.
