I agree to this “Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Adams Oshiomole and partly Rochas Okorocha have turned themselves as Minister of Information and Defence and particularly Oshiomole who has suddenly become EFCC Boss and Minister of ‘Attack’ on behalf of the government”, Ighoyota said. This I don't understand “When Jonathan was President of this country, he benefitted so much from him. Jonathan helped and the People’s Democratic Party helped him to become government of Edo State,” he maintained. |

harsysky: if it had been in existence, who did stop it? Matthew 23 vs 23 --- “How terrible for you, teachers of the Law and Pharisees! You hypocrites! You give to God one tenth even of the seasoning herbs, such as mint, dill, and cumin, but you neglect to obey the really important teachings of the Law, such as justice and mercy and honesty. These you should practice, without neglecting the others.
Christ did not tell them to stop paying tithe, did he? He was more into the highlighted, which is the pivot of church. |

GlorifiedTunde: My dear, Tithe is God's money. He says you have robbed him if you don't bring it to His house... Malachi 3
However other givings are encouraged :
Offering Parents The Poor Missionaries And your Pastor ( if you believe you're blessed by his teachings or ministry)
No man is supposed to own God's tithe, not even the pastor - God will judge him seriously!
Tithe is 10% that you pay to God for protecting you, your family, finances and other things around you from the hand of the devourer.
I'll challenge you to it, those who pay tithes hardly spend on I'll health and accidents or mishaps. That is why they end up using their monies well than non tithers. This is what I have experienced in life.
Any month you don't pay tithe, your savings is hardly preserved while the ones that don't pay always spend finances on hospital bills shey SHM |

MrMcJay: The initial part of your post shows the type of upbringing you have. Hence, I'll skip that.
What experience did Obanikoro have in Military administration that GEJ made him Minister of State for Defence? What experience did GEJ have in leadership that he became Nigeria's President?
We are talking of track records of achievements that would turn the country around and you are talking of Universities and Polytechnics. GEJ has a 'PhD', can you state a single achievement of his while he was ruled Bayelsa?
There are administrative heads and political heads in Ministries. The Minister is the Political head, while the Perm. Sec. is the administrative head. Mind you, many of the Perm Secs. are Phd holders and Professors, hence your logic collapses on its face.
There are many factors responsible for the economy being this way and Ministerial politics is just one of them. Afterall, who was the Minster of Power when electricity Generation surpassed 5,000MW? Thank You Bro, you typed the above out of my fingers. |

anybody to summarize this thing for me? pls Re: Understanding The Treasury Single Account (TSA) System – Things You Should Know by Rockstar07: 1:49pm Below is the summary of the above article in bullet points for those fellas who don't have time to read. 1. The TSA system is consitituional, only that past administration refused to implement it. 2. CBN manage the accounts and sub accounts for all in-flow and out-flow. 3. All revenues from MDAs into banks are to be remiited to the TSA accounts daily BCOB 4. All MDAs won't have access to the funds in the banks, they may have to pass through the CBN after obtaining neccessary approval before funds can be release to them. 5. Banks may have to re-strategized on other means to get deposits from private coys or state govt that's even state won't follow fed pattern. 6. Banks may have to retrench their staffs esp the back office staffs and seek more sales staffs to get deposits by all means 7. Banks will increase their interest and reduce lending 8. The strategy will alleviate diversion of public funds by public office holders even tho there may be little diversion either through over stating cost or diverting funds given to them but it'll be minimal. It has been summarized by Rockstar07 |

Obasanjo was bold enough to get conviction for DSP. If Buhari, corupption talks are anything to go by with, if and when Obasanjo is investigated and found wanting, then he can be sent to prison!
