Syncan: Biko i nwere ike ikowara m ihe okwu nke a putara?Syncan, Okwute angry Egyptians piafuka gi isi. That quote of yours has zero effect on my pathological composition. mumu |
manny4life: First, I'm in no authority nor power to define anything for you, I give deference to PointB's statement, if that's isn't sound enough for you, take it up with the appropraite people. This is not the proper place to address the false and erroneous statements you've made above, but believe you me, if you become the new Eze, you will be flogged worse than Eze Onlytruth and the flogging will be easier to do. |
saintohia: ^^^^^^The good thing is that PointB and members of the election tribunal are brighter than you are. They are smart enough to repair the inadequacies I pointed out in their rules. |
PointB: @Ndu_chucks,What you are saying is that, one's pattern of comments over time determines whether that person is a proper Igbo and that you are ready to disenfranchise people with 100% Igbo blood if they don't share your views. The above comment is very sad and clearly shows a major flaw in your stance. If the rest of your so-called tribunal and potential Ezes think like this, then shame on all of you. @Manny4life, since you are a potential Eze, please define what a "fit and proper" Igbo is. Thanks in advance |
manny4life: Look at you, you have 100% Igbo blood in you? For where, abeg carry go jor..I'd suggest to you that if you plan to be a good Eze, you must learn not to be lazy and read very well before you make comments. I never said anywhere that I have 100% Igbo blood in me, abi you be illiterate dullard ni? Go and reread my post. Prove to me thatyou are not an intellectual midget by apologizing for misstating what I wrote and we may be able to have a conversation. For now, mechionu gi. |
PointB: Ndu_chucks,PointB, Thanks for your courtesy. I believe that if you define what you mean by "fit and proper" Igbo, you may discover that I am more Igbo than most of the people whose nominations have been accepted. I can tell you with 100% certainty that I have some percentage of Igbo blood flowing in me. The same may not be true of the people you named above. I's recommend that you avoid further embarrassment by accepting my nomination ASAP. |
PointB: @Ndu_chuck,PointB, I do not need any tribunal to resolve this issue. Rules mustbe universally applied else they are meaningless and useless. If you did not require those who nominated to prove that they are "fit and proper" Igbo, why single me out. Why are you not applying your rules to everyone in the same manner? I ask you once more to define "fit and proper" Igbo. |
PointB: I regret to inform you that your nomination will be queued pending the time we ascertain your ethnicity. Here is a reproduction of the nominating rules: SECTION 1: NOMINATION RULES The nomination rule’s primary objective is to ensure that ‘fit and proper’ igbo are allowed to stand for election. 1.1 - An individual can nominate two forumers to contest against the incumbent Eze if: a - Profiling of such forumer indicates s/he is a ‘fit and proper’ igbo b - Such forumer has been a registered and active poster at least three months prior to the election (an endorsement by 10 eligible forumers shall however suffice for a waiver) c -Such forumer does not have pattern of denigrating our institution (Eze Ndi igbo Nairaland) or our people (Igbos of any state). d. Such member is not under ban or suspension for infraction of rules or for unadulterated hatred against fellow igbo 1.2 - An individual can be nominated for the role of Eze/Eze Nwayi if s/he satisfies the conditions above in addition to having a fairly good history of defending igbo cause online. If you did not demands that everyone who has nominated a candidate prove his/or her ethnicity, I believe you should count my nomination ASAP. There is no reason to introduce unnecessary discrimination into this process. You counted my nomination during the last election but decided not to count it now, why? Do you make rules and their interpretations as if you are a dictator? At a minimum, you need to define what a "fit and proper" Igbo means and how you determined that those whose nominations were accepted are fit and proper Igbo. I challenge you to objectively answer my questions or your process will remain a charade. |
PointB: I regret to inform you that your nomination will be queued pending the time we ascertain your ethnicity.Oga, I'd recommend that you do not introduce undue discrimination and/or bigotry into this process. In as much as you yourself have not proved to us that you are of a certain ethnicity, you have no right to withhold my nomination. If you are bold, tell ud how anyone's ethnicity was ascertained. |
.. Are Abokis allowed to nominate??
What is an oily soup lover, ofemmmanu doing on this thread. Buroda e ati Anti e ni Aboki. ![]() |
@PointB and 9ja_I_hail. I observed that certain people are objecting to the nomination of legitimate candidates and you guys are implying that you may look into their objections. Well, inasmuch as those Candidates are Igbo and have met all the criteria in the "constitution", don't waste your time on objections raised by dullards like Let these people show their objections by not voting for Okija or Onlytruth if they so wish. Its time to get the voting process going. I also nominate Dalu o. |
Onlytruth: So, I would be damned to ever accept been banned by anybody here. LOL.shatap dia, coming out in the middle of the night like a witch believing that some of us are asleep and will not put you in your rightful place promptly. You are so full of yourself that you believe that you have the power to react to being banned causing any meaningful reaction by the mods. You've served your ban and I'd advise you to keep your mouth shut to avoid another ban, olodo Cut the crap and run for the doggone Ezeship already, I'm ready to start whipping you to submission as usual. You are what my Yoruba brothers will call you eran iya, you like pain, so bring it on. Its been boring here lately. |
manny4life: I remember a thread where I challenged ndu-chuks assertion that ndigbo cannot leave because the constitution doesn't say so, any attempt to leave will met with force. (ndu_chuks if you remember), where I stated for the cause of ndigbo to achieve freedom post 2014, if the Amalgamation Documents does specify that our union expires in 2014, if Ndigbo gets human right lawyers who can champion their cause to the United Nations for freedom, the U.N. will honor the Amalgamation document than the so-called constitution. I further stated that the Amalgamation document is the founding principle of our union, and after its expiration, nothing hold. ndu_chks requested I cite precedent cases, and I told him, "there's always a first time".nwanne m, let me put this issue to bed once and for all - apologies for the momentary diversion from the purpose of this thread. The Amalgamation document which you referred to was based on Nigeria - a colony of the British rogues. Once we became independent, our independence also included freedom from the nonsensical experiment laid out in the so-called Amalgamation document. We have since moved on and been admitted to the UN. Your own governors will work on your long term imprisonment if you dare bring up the issue next year. You people are better off making the best out of your country, Nigeria. Its time to come out of the bush and learn to live like civilized patriots. |
Dede1: If you were not a Nigerian leftover, I guess your suggestion would have attracted consideration.Whatdaheck is Nigerian leftover? Must one be an unrepentant secessionist to be sensible? By the way, why wouldn't you throw your hat in the ring and rescue Ndigbo on NL, you are certainly a die hard and will make a fine Eze. |
This Promoe of a guy is worth considering for Ezeship if Only Buy Promoe, you need to drop the pink ink thingy ASAP ![]() |
^^^^^ Again, Ask yourself what the probability of living in Biafra in your lifetime is, then your eyes may open up. |
he |
Noiseless2: Exactly, Onlytruth though has my respect but we can't afford another Azikiwe who is refusing to realize that the best thing for the Igbos is to depart from nigeria. Ask yourself what the probability of living in Biafra in your lifetime is, then your eyes may open up. |
Nigeria will need Sanusi one way or the other in 2015 and beyond. The man is a genuine Patriot. |
I truly fail to see why posters are criticizing HID. What exactly is wrong with what she and others said at this convention? I urge those who call her opinion nonsense, to explain to me why and how they reached that conclusion, and I'd also appreciate an explanation of why some people think her utterances in this case are heating up polity. If you people don't help me out with reasonable explanations, I will start looking for the Ojuyobo factor in your decision making processes. |
Nwanne m, PointB, biko change the title of the thread to Eze Ndi Igbo Nairaland - By Election- 2013 Bye-Election may be confused to mean bye bye election. This election is not intended to say goodbye to anyone but to usher in a new Eze. |
Chucky, Onlytruth did not deserve to be banned. I was typing up a reply to OAM4J (not the ban-ner) in the Complaints thread but lost it. I may respond to him in detail over there, if I have time.https://www.nairaland.com/938835/lets-complaints-suggestions-enquiries-here/54#14428081
Oborin to gbamushe, miti miss e baje. ![]() |
Oh oh. I did not get to the page where Odumchi resigned before poking fun at Onlytruth. All I'd suggest is to return Onlytruth, no need to waste time voting for anyone else. I actually miss the Ojukwu type bearded Ewu. ![]() |
Bliss4Lyfe: Listen, i have thought about it and apologise for my contributions to the trouble here. Onlytruth did not deserve any ban and dat got me upset. You mean to tell me that ex Eze Onlytruth was banned because of his contributions to this thread? I say na who ban am? www.nairaland.com/attachments/229503_ROFLMAODog_gif3fa44b12f55ba64fc785c3a5794ba92e |
This is a great development and will save lives. I'm glad that the government now has the realisation that its strategy hitherto is a losing one.
IGBO kidnappers & Ritualists ------ Amnesty (coming soon)
Oga mi sir, kidnappers are common criminals who do not deserve any amnesty but should face firing squads. Kidnappers are not fighting for any cause. |
@ndu_chucks henryadex claimed that God is killing the Nollywood folks because they are using His name in vain. That was why I asked that question.
Your question to henryadex appeared to indicate your acceptance of his claim that God is killing the Nollywood folks. If you did not accept or agree with the false statement, why did you need a follow up question. You were using a false and silly claim of people who do not understand their own religion to justify your atheism. That's a lazy way to go about such justification. |
@henryadex Answer me this: why is God killing the Nollywood folks who are using His name in vain instead of Boko-Haramists who are killing His children?
The above question appears a bit narrow. First of all, God is not in the business of killing anyone and those who blame God for people dying due to inadequate health care facilities or irresponsible lifestyles are dumb. Let me also add that, even the so-called Boko-Haramists are God's children as well, and they are given the opportunity to repent from their sinful ways during their lifetimes. It may also be worthwhile to note that death itself is overrated. The other side of life could actually be a better place than this terrible world - if that's the case, then death becomes actually powerless. |
I'm a bit disappointed. The said N55million would have been enough to retrained at least a few thousand displaced Okada riders. |
I would have questioned Keyamo's ability to actually govern effectively, but given the crop of thieves who have hitherto ruled Delta State, Keyamo will be a great improvement even if he does not govern with distinction. I hope he runs and if he does, I will mobilize all my resources to support him in anyway that I can and I urge evryone reading this to do the same. |
We'll have an Igbo President in Nigeria, an Ijesha man as the Sultan of Sokoto, a Hausa man as the Ooni of Ife, a Fulani herdsman as the Alafin of Oyo, before a black man becomes a Pope. |

There are two ways I can react to this ban, and I would not discuss any for now.
