AWKA—THE Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has dismissed the planned re-declaration of Biafra Republic on November 5th this year by the Biafran Zionist Movement, BZM, saying the declaration was done by MASSOB leader, Chief Ralph Uwazurike when he hoisted the Biafran flag at Fauks road, Aba, Abia State on May 22, 2000.
Very good. These people have now confessed to treason and should be arrested and locked up promptly. i.e. if GEJ is capable.

Health › Re: Tips For Fresh Breath by nduchucks: 2:16pm On Aug 21, 2012
Most importantly, brush your teeth every night before you go to sleep! If you are planning sex and pre-intimacy before going to sleep, then brush it after sex. When you wake up, you should not have to contend with bad breath - then brush it again in the morning. Do this for 2 weeks and your bad breath will disappear. Even chewing stick treatment 2 times a day will work.

If it does not disappear, then you need to go and see your dendist because you 100% have a dental disease.

PointB: Fact is that most vegetables including tomatoes, onions, carrots, etc can be grown quite easily in a Green House, and building a green house is no rocket science. When poo hits the fan, weaning the south from northern vegetables, cereal, and cattle, would be much easier than many think.
Now tell me why you people have not yet gone into competition with traditional farmers. Your pea sized brain is incapable of separating realities on ground from theoretical and impractical crap. It is this same ignoramus tendency which makes you think biafra can still be actualized. olodo
Politics › Re: Opinion - The Destruction Of Northern Nigeria By Simon Kolawole by nduchucks:
AjanleKoko: People need to look beyond these food matters. If the people don't want to be together, we should at least talk.
Tomatoes is not enough reason to stay one Nigeria. There are many aggrieved parties, so many grievances that must be addressed. Why doesn't Mr Kolawole add his voice to the vanguard calling for a national conference? Why are people like him scared of a break-up?
Some of you people who are exposed to democracy may actually be tyrants or believers in dictatorship, at heart. The vast majority of 160million of proud Nigerians want to stay together. Sooner or later you people will realize that you are in the powerless minority. In the meantime your governors and neighbours will arrest and imprison you promptly, if u try any nonsense.

Think about new cases of cancer and other exotic diseases which will result from the preservatives contained in imported vegetables before clamoring for importatiion.
Politics › Re: Opinion - The Destruction Of Northern Nigeria By Simon Kolawole by nduchucks: 7:13am On Aug 21, 2012
Many lazy Nigerians, primarily exiled slaves who reside in diaspora, hide their shame, by positing that Nigeria is better off disintegrated and in their warped minds, act and think as if Nigeria is already divided. These people have no sense of nationalism and do not have the intelligence to understand that you can have regional interests and be a nationalist at the same time. These people are sick and are essentially tribalists and bigots.

The good news is that the vast majority of Nigerians believe in one Nigeria and do not think like theses daft people. Nigeria will survive and continue to improve, with or without these traitors. We do not need these diaspora slaves here, they can continue to slave for their masters in the UK,USA, and elsewhere.

On a separate note, it is quite reasonable to assume that organic tomatoes will cost more, if they were imported from outside the shores of Nigeria, than to buy them from local farmers or from the North.
Politics › Re: Picture Of Nigeria Divided: Is This The Future? by nduchucks: 6:06am On Aug 21, 2012
Dede1: I shall continue to advise Ndigbo to gear-up for war in case Nigeria disintegrates. Anybody who remotely thinks disintegration of Nigeria will go the way of USSR is a bloody fool. The disintegration of Nigeria must engender a fierce war of expansionism, renewed sense of nationalism and unexpected alliance within and across the border of Nigeria.

The moment Nigeria slips into the war path of disintegration, all the useless and so-called political zones will cease to exist. There is no doubt Nigeria’s unprogressive growth tends to stretch the essence of lack of unity among the people to the extremes. The disintegration may or may not come in 2015 but it must surely happen in future.
The bolded statement above is absolutely correct. The ensuing war will cost hundreds of thousands, if not millions of lives, comparatively rendering Rwanda, child's play. This is the main reason why I believe that we are better off working things out as civilized people. Only a dimwit would advocate the disintegration of Nigeria given these facts.

Jakumo: The only negotiated options that the Nigerian government ought to offer captured and fugitive Boko Haram Taliban terror group members should be with respect to the manner of death sentence application that suicide bombers and their sponsors would prefer when the game is up and they are in the net to face homicide charges like any other felony suspect.

With inspiration drawn from Japanese obstacle-course TV game shows, may I suggest throwing captured and "repentant" Boko-Haram operatives into walled arenas stocked with huge, hungry crocodiles, saber-toothed bush-pigs, or rabid hounds. The resulting carnage can be taped in High Definition footage that can then be shown to other career virgin seekers whose thoughts turn to suicide bombing in the springtime.

I'd recommend that the title of this thread, https://www.nairaland.com/1023517/obasanjo-backs-amaechi-lamido-2015, which is on the front page, be changed to "Obasanjo Backs Lamido/Amaechi Ticket For 2015" as stated in the source of the story.

The current title leaves the moderators and/or supermod open to accusations of intentional distortion of published reports. The story states that OBJ is backing Lamido for President not Ameachi. The thread's OP intentionally tried to deceive NLers and the mods fell for it. I know it was an oversight on the part of the mods. Thanks

Please explain your prejudice and I will allay your fears once and for all. I'd also suggest to you that if you put tribalism and bigotry aside, you'll find that my positions on most topics are well reasoned.

PhysicsQED: Well which specific laws actually say anything about state of origin? And what stops a person from identifying their state of longest residence as their state of origin?

I guess what I'm getting at is de jure vs. de facto practices.
It might interest you to note that ALL official data collecting forms in Nigeria asks the question, "State of Origin?"

Also the Federal Character commission has the constitutional powers to work out an equitable formula subject to the approval of the National Assembly for the distribution of all cadres of posts in the public service of the Federation and of the States, the armed forces of the Federation, the Nigeria Police Force and other government security agencies, government owned companies and parastatals of the states;

The commission will never OK a person named Okechukwu to represent Sokoto state or one named Dantata to represent Bayelsa state, for obvious reasons. This constitutional amendment will eliminate the associated problems with the federal character phenomenon, particularly the one which allows incompetent people to be appointed to very important posts because of their states of origin.

All well meaning Nigerians welcome this constitutional amendment except the narrow minded among us.

souldust: my dear, are you in nigeria? If you are, where do you live? I need to know the answers to those questions

the calculations you did is based on the ratio of individual country's edu budget and it school population. But i pointed out in one of my earlier posts that we, on our own, invest in education. We spend more, WAY MORE, than the country's budgets for edu. Any one who is in nigeria and doesnt live in glass house and is a student would agree with me when he reads my earlier posts.

There are MORE nigerians in private schools at the basic and secondary level than there are in public. How many are the public schools? They are not many. If you walk through the streets of nigeria, you will know what i am saying.

Forget that stat you are refering to. Politicians lie about figures like that so as to attract more intervention funds to their states so that tey can steal.

snydergp: Like I said before only a fool like u would argue like that. U bring up 2009/2010 stats about south africa's hiv rate and want me to accept that outdated facts as the truth about what is currently happening in South Africa.

If u were so informed and updated with current affairs u would have noticed that there is a W.H.O 1month ago that proofed that South africa is actaully revercing its hiv infection rates we currently have one of the worlds least mother to child affection rates due to all pregnant hiv positive woman receiving anti retrovirrals. It Just shows how foolish u trully are in still thinking that aids is such a big problem cause hiv/aids is treated like a lifestyle desease in S.A not a chronic desease burden u bafoon.

3.3% of population the size of Nigeria who doesn't even have a proper public healthcare system and who's stats can't even be trusted according to the World Health Organisation is nothing to be proud about.

That same south african presedent ur talking about is the same one who is also responsible for the worlds biggest hiv treatment and prevention program to date.

People living with aids in S.A is 5,6 million of our total population and the prevellence rate is decreasing year on year so I don't know where u got ur info from.

The question was about development u bring up sideline issues to hide ur mental retartness let's state proven well researched facts not that bull u just got out that Tree u just jumped out of.

Furthermore the world health organistions also claimed in recent reports that some Nigerian states are notorious for non co operation and that's why the world don't have accurret stats on your countries hiv prevellence statistics.

Nigeria is still rated the most corupt country in africa 3rd in the world and that is a fact u can't deny, so just go and inform yourself about a topic before u feel the urge to rubish other peoples fact backed opions.
