Yeah, you're absolutely right o!.. smiley

Lolzzz..I feel you..IELTS is the humbler of men. Like I say again to people, after all the serious preparation, pray for luck..the outcome of the exam has a lot to do with luck. Even in speaking, luck plays a role..if you meet a speaking examiner that leads you on well, you will have a good time answering their questions and score well..if you meet a straight faced examiner that doesn't ask many connecting questions and doesn't lead you well, you wouldn't talk much and it would affect your score. Ultimately, it's to prepare very well, and pray for favour with the exam.

Walahi I was just about to type same thing. It was too hard, especially the part 3 and 4.I had band 8.5 when i wrote last year, only for me to get band 7.5 now. And i was making mouth telling people that ielts reading was a walkover. They embarrassed me. Lol. Atleast I got band 9 in the listening so that made me happy.

crespo67:
That May 30th reading was hard. It was probably the hardest I had done even during my practice. Luck is a big factor in this exam.

Alright, thank you.

Mamaroon:

No idea.

Honesty is the best policy though. If anyone has made a genuine error in the past or being dishonest in the past...best to explain the circumstances and move forward with the truth.

Hi Mamaroon,

Please does it also apply to info on app of visit visa from other countries?

Mamaroon:
This one is for people who have submitted a previous TRV (visit visa) application.

Are the details (work exp, education, etc) in your TRV app the same as in your Express Entry/FSW app?

I actually noticed a minor error in my TRV app that I explained in my FSW app based on this judgement that joo2018 shared in 2018!

Ah!.. I thought Lawyers are supposed to evaluate just LL. B? And this is supposed to be done via iqas?..

Good evening folks.Thank you for the help always. I have this little issue with WES. The Nigerian Law School sent myself and my wife's transcript since March but WES only acknowledged receipt on the 11th June for my wife and 12th June for mine. WES requested verification for my transscript some few days after but they are saying " their specialists are still looking at my wife's transcripts" since then. I want to know if there is something I can do to fast track the process at this point. Delay for a day in this journey may throw one's advantage away. Thank you for the anticipated response(s).

These questions have been answered and addressed over and over in pages of this thread, take your time and go through them. if the answers on page 1 are misleading, then nobody fit answer your questions be that.
However if you are still waiting for someone to come and answer the questions for you, good luck

Thank you so much.. In 2A i meant if i should show how i got the money for the FD. Thanks for your answers.

olalekan9320:

1. You don't need an additional document to show you were paid in cash, the major thing needed is your reference letter, but in the reference letter you can add "was/ is paid in cash the sum of ..." or you just add a LOE when you are about to submit post ITA. All these are not compulsory but to avoid stories that touch.

2A. I'm confused or better still I don't understand the question.

2B. No

C. No, but you can if you like

D. No, it's not a must.

3. After ITA

The answers are on page one sha and some were even asked recently

God bless you so much.! Thank you. I appreciate this.

JustMellow:

Hello Neam9,

The most important concern should be if the business is verifiable and in actual existence. It being a small or large scale business and/or low or high revenue generating coy is of little concern. Also, the salary amount has no cause for alarm in entirety of the process for as long as you can meet the requirements for the settlement funds. Below in permutational order are my responses to your queries.

1. There are several ways to justify being paid in cash. It can simply be stated in your employer's reference letter. Then use your LOE to support the actuality of your employer's claim and you can as well get your employer to issue a duly authenticated cash salary certificate. Endeavour to ensure your employed duties tandems with the selected NOC.

2a. No, you don't have to prove or show the accrued interest but if this is achievable, then go ahead. Otherwise, the FD or any other valid financial proof that is payable to and/or accessible by you will suffice.

b. Ideally, makes more sense if the money starts breathing in your account early in time. However, there is also no consequence being parked in the account prior after ITA, as long as you don't temper with it afterwards.

c. The Deed of Gift will work absolutely whether notarized or not, and it takes less or nothing to do so. An affidavit isn't necessarily required but its a legal and valid document that is always acceptable and won't pose no risk to your application if included.

d. It depends and not necessarily, but if you're true to your financial situation and honest about the source of the incoming funds, including his statement will prove a valid and genuine point. The inclusion can just be his BS cover and the transfer page. He can as well write an LOE to explain the gift if there are any discrepancies best known to you.

3. This should be done post ITA.

N.B: no two application is the same and try to assess and work with your situation honestly.

All the best

Lol. If i haven't read it (this particular thread page one) i won't even know i can use a gift deed or FD or even need to notarize etc. And yes some of the comments were misleading until i did proper research by asking questions for clarity and also double checking cic website. I know what I'm talking about! If i read or not is it not for my own knowledge? Eyyy wey God o. Why are we even arguing about if i read it or not?. Well thanks to you both o. I see people replying questions that was already asked by another person just moments before , but to clarify something of weeks/months back is a problem. Well done o.. Lol. All the same thanks for not ignoring, you're right about that.
Otoge:

PPR stories and embedded links in which page(s) is misleading?? Page one? No answer to those questions of yours is missing in page one alone. You have not read it. Even if there is a missing part, you would have couched it better to show what's missing. Or go go to other parts.

And no, she wont waka pass, when people waka pass, it tends to show you are being ignored and in some cases, people repeat it thereby crowding the thread. Maybe someone else can help you.

If i haven't gone through it i won't even have an idea of the questions i asked. I don't know if you're dying or not but if you can’t answer waka pass and leave it for people who understand why I'm asking (as a lot of that part one isn't clear some people's comments from the links there are even kind of misleading!) to answer me.

Amanee:

All this is on page one

Go through the first 20 pages at least, you will not die

Good evening everyone. Please I've some questions ;

1)-Regarding employment, i am paid salary in cash. It's not a big firm and the salary is small. What documents do i need to support this cash salary .?
2)For proof of funds- I'm using fixed deposit and gift deed from my parent.
A) do i need to show accrual of funds for the fixed deposit?
B) must the gift money be in my account before ITA?
C) after drafting the deed do i have to get an affidavit and notarize as well?
D) must i produce my dad's statement showing the transfer of the gift money?
3)when is the best time to do medicals and PCC, before or after ITA?

Thank you

Thanks so much.. Lol @blind VOs

Yes it is.
Submit the certificate and a statement of account of 4-6mths. Highlight the transfer of the money from your account to the fixed deposit account (not required but helps the blind VOs).

Good morning all, please o, i wanted to invest in treasury bills but all the financial institutions i bank with seems not to have any short tenures available, so i did a time deposit(fixed deposit). Now, is this type of investment sufficient for POF? Can i summit d certificates nd documents as POF?.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Neam9: 1:33am On Mar 02, 2020
@DeeCan i beg you with the name of God please share the materials you used to prepare for the writing with me, and also how i can register through MOD. Thank you

DeeCan:
Thanks and God bless you. Let me try answer your questions:
1. For the POF summary, all I did was write out all the funds I was using. All my funds were in Treasury bill investment, a little more than enough for a single applicant. I only used the 25% of my Retirement Savings account as a buffer against currency fluctuations. I didn't have any table as advised previously here, just a list I typed using MS Word and converted to PDF.
I merged with the other document for POF and that was it.
2. There is no specific website per say as I learnt the Bank of Canada has an exchange rate released quarterly or thereabout. However, you could use oanda.com or xe.com and you will be fine. Please ensure you are converting from NGN to CAD $ and not the other way around. That way, you will know exactly the amount it will be in CAD $.
3. I used oanda.com and attached a screenshot for the day of my AOR
For your overlap, please do address in the LOE. A friend with a similar issue as mine was pro-active and filled a Schedule A form pre-AOR and submitted with his LOE. He didn't get any ADR while I did. In all, just be careful and very observant. Please don't be in a hurry to submit and make silly mistakes. Immigration is law and provided you do not mislead or lie, PPR will eventually come. Congrats on your ITA, you are almost home and dry. You can reach out if you require further assistance. All the best and Godspeed, cheers.

Stencil:
Hello Taiwo. Welcome to this thread.

1. You have to rewrite IELTS for a better chance at securing ITA (Invitation to apply).
You should aim for 8777 , with 8 in Listening.
You mentioned not wanting to write IELTS again, maybe you could highlight the areas you are struggling with and we could point you in the right direction. For example, if you struggle with the writing module, reach out to Johnnybravo1990
If you struggle with Listening and reading, use youtube and check out some tips here.

2. I know you asked about PNP but if you have age and degrees (the more/higher the better) on your side you could shoot straight for Express Entry instead of going the PNP route.

3. Please make Page one your "bible"

4. A summary of the process
