Outrageous emoluments accrue to the bank heads, who disburse outrageous and questionable loans, while the 'recruits' are given outrageous targets to meet, even at their dignity's expense... A perfect example of "monkey dey work, baboon dey chop" undecided

Please let me know when either Elumelu or Ovia or Segun Oloketuyi needs a kidney transplant undecided
So you prefer going to Malaysia to sell your kidney than working in a Nigerian Bank? Chai! Guy see as you dey reason! If an average Nigerian youths have this kind of your mentality that means this country has no future at all!!!

I no fit laugh! But anybody that says Amaechi didn't have any interest in that position is a cruel liar. Let your strategy be unfathomable, your form concealed and your movement unexpected for the attack against you to be impossible--- This is the exact principle Amaechi failed to use in his fight against GEJ. I pity Amaechi if GEJ wins.

PoliticsRe: Dollars Everywhere At The APC Primaries This Moment by Neatboy(m): 7:36am On Dec 11, 2014
Why are some people crying wolf that Atiku is dolarizing the APC's Presidential Primary. If Tinubu and all the APC's governors could influence their delegates and asked them to queue behind Buhari because they have the POLITICAL POWER to do so. Then, why are they complaining because Atiku is using his ECONOMY POWER to influence. It's all about what you can use to influence people. So, don't paint another man's strategies black simply because you don't have such qualities.

Nairaland GeneralIs Obasanjo's New Book His Last Punch? by Neatboy(op): 9:47pm On Dec 09, 2014
When I watched Muhammad Ali and George Foreman's match on ESPN Classic, it was the first boxing match on African soil (Zaire, now DR Congo) that caught the entire world's attention. On October 30th 1974, 4:00 AM. At the eleventh hour or very close to the last round, George Foreman was so high spirited, his adrenaline rose above 100% as he was throwing heavy punches at Ali. But his adrenaline dropped back to 1% when Ali whom he thought should be shouting 'Ejoor! Biko! Or Abeg Na!' was asking him, "Is that all you've got?" Then he realized that punches can not change a determined Ali. George Foreman gave up. OBJ's punches can't
change GEJ's determination.

Could this be OBJ's last punch?

Nairaland GeneralBuhari, Jonathan Or Atiku: No Choice Here For Yoruba! by Neatboy(op): 8:26am On Dec 08, 2014
Recently, on the 28th of November, 2014, the selfsame day that Yoruba Youths in all tertiary
institutions were declaring their desire to free their fatherland from the oppressive Nigerian albatross, Nigerian president,
Goodluck Ebele Jonathan came to Ile-Ife, the ancestral home of the Yoruba, to make some loose-mouthed statements to the effect that he was aware that Yoruba had been marginalized by his administration all these years.

He was ably supported by the usual group of Yoruba turncoats, AGIP (Any Government In Power) politicians and other discredited
individuals. Name them: Bode George, Ebenezer Babatope, Akinrounmu, Ayodele Fayose, Musiliu Obanikoro, Omisore, etc. were all there.

They all heard what Jonathan had to say! And they still had the temerity and shamelessness to ask us to vote Jonathan, come 2015!

Bear in mind that :
1. Jonathan served as Yar'adua's vice president for two years.
2. Jonathan served out the remaining two years of Yar'adua's tenure as president.
3. Jonathan is about completing his own four year tenure as president of Nigeria.
4. In the 2011 elections, Jonathan won in all Yoruba states, except Osun. Eight years of Jonathan in the corridors of power has brought Yoruba virtually nothing
worthwhile enough to point to.

In those eight years, the Niger Delta got its own ministry, got a very lucrative amnesty programme, got a better funded NDDC etc.

The South East has virtually captured Jonathan; what do you say when they control the Ministry of Finance, the office of the
Secretary of the federation; they got the commencement of the dredging of the Niger River, the second Niger bridge and an
international airport among other noticeable freebies. Of course the North is being forever courted
with endless projects for which they can never be satisfied until the reins of power are within their grasp: many roads are being
constructed ; Almajri schools are being built everywhere. What guarantees do the Yoruba have that, if voted in to power once again for another four years, after which he would not be eligible again for election, that he would
serve Yorubaland any better than he did in his previous eight years? What hold would we have on him, then? And they are still asking us to vote Jonathan
in, come 2015.

Is it not clear then, that Yoruba no more have leaders? The case of Buhari is even worse. He
represents a people who have shown the Yoruba the worst form of bestiality for over 200 years. 200 years filled with invasion,
wars, bloodshed, persecution and strife. He represents the Fulani whose strangle hold on Nigeria and the constituent nationalities
therein must be broken finally, now and for all time. The Fulani never changed in the 35+ years
that they ruled Nigeria with impunity, murderous Machiavellianism, scorched earth
policies, open theft, larceny, gluttonous greed and corruption. They came to Nigeria from the Futa Jalon and Futa Toro highlands of Guinea and Senegal with a single minded agenda to exploit, pillage and kill. And they
have vowed to maim and annihilate any who may stand in their way to achieve that.

That mindset did not change during Buhari's first coming as head of state, nor in the body
language exhibited during the campaign for his three failed presidential attempts. That mindset will definitely not change if Buhari or Atiku wins the 2015 presidential election.

Therefore neither Jonathan, Buhari nor Atiku as president of Nigeria bodes well for the Yoruba nation.
But there is a third, seemingly vague, but clearly more viable, definitely achievable alternative, if we can seize the moment with
boldness and unity of purpose. The golden prize of our own nation, where we shall be united in a common origin, language and
custom beckons if we can exhibit the sagacity and courage to challenge the status quo and declare ourselves free from this
monstrous 'Sword of Damocles' hanging over our heads and those of our future generations to come.

We are the only nation within the Nigeria conundrum that can successfully demand, declare and enforce our independence from Nigeria if we set our hearts to it, if we are as resolute and determined about it as we are to escape from the poverty, deprivation and exploitation starring us in the face collectively as a nation.

The time to shake off the shame and lethargy of a hundred years of inaction is now. The time for Oduduwa Republic has come.

Now is the time for freedom for 50 million Yoruba trapped in Nigeria. No one will be left behind!

Although, the cashier googled and asked his colleagues if they've gotten any information as regards that, but they all said no. PoliticsRe: So Amnesty International Was Right Afterall? by Neatboy(m): 2:14pm On Nov 17, 2014
The indiscipline and extra judicial killing in the Nigeria Army and Police Force is nothing to write home about. They both see other non-uniformed men as sub-humans. I was walking down the road one fateful day when I overheard a man bitterly complaining to a friend that a young man is disrespecting him and that if he catches the man he's going to accuse him of something unimaginable and lay heavy false charges on him. These words fell like a hydrogen bomb on my head. I turned to take a proper look at the man, but lo and behold he is a police officer. I almost wept for that potential victim of another idiocy.

Moreso, I believe that the indiscipline in the Nigeria Armed Forces started immediately after the 1966 coup and the counter coup. Just imagine infantry or recruits lynching their superiors during the counter coup. Ever since, there has been vicious circle of indiscpline. Bad leadership and negligence are also major factors. And until every member of the Nigeria Army or Police realized that (1) They're being paid with civilians taxes (money). (2) To stop calling civilians 'bloody civilian' cause it's a derogatory statement to denigrate or relegate our persons and see us as sub-humans. (3) And their first lesson in NDA or Police College should be all about the Fundamental Human Rights. And anyone that can not recite all should never be accepted. (4) And the name should be changed from the Nigeria Armed Forces to the People's Army of Nigeria. This will give both the people and the army some sense of oneness.

PoliticsRe: Hunters Kill 80 Insurgents, Reclaim Mahia by Neatboy(m): 11:35pm On Nov 12, 2014
That is why we are advocating for a state police. If states have their own police it'll curb unemployment and most of these guys that were recruited by the Boko Haram would have become better tools to fight crimes. If there was state police this insurgency would not have gotten to this stage. Although it has its own disadvantages but the advantages outweighs the disadvantages. Sorry to say this, it was still these Northern foolish politicians that kicked against it. They fight against anything that won't give them undue advantage even when it's for the benefit of all. They have sent to the grave so many bills that would have turned Nigeria's story around. The indiscipline in the Nigeria Armed Forces is caused by the lopsided policies their politicians in power had made to give themselves great advantage. That's why we have less professionals. Their house is on fire but those fools are busy chasing rat.

This is the height of insensitivity on the part of of president - Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan, just a day after almost 50 children lost their lives due to an attack by Boko haram, our dear president is declaring for a second term. Shouldn't he have postponed this campaign to at least commiserate with the families of those who lost their lives?
Wow! You are now thinking the way Northern politicians who orchestrated the boko haram wanted you to think--- that GEJ is the bad guy and he doesn't care. So, he should postpone it and the next time again you'll still ask him to postpone it again if your brothers up north repeat their bombings. So, when will be the right time if bombings and kidnapping happen everyday?

But has any Northern politician ever made any move to assist the displaced? Even BilGate has funded and contributed for the eradication of Polio in Nigeria but how many have the Northern politicians done? Wisdom just like they say, is the principal thing.

the two statements that caught my fancy most are the freedom of expression and the no political prisoner. This man is indeed a liberalist and a democrat. Let us just be truthful to each other. Do you think if Buhari becomes the president of this country he'll not persecute his critics? Do you think Buhari and Tinubu will not have political prisoners? All these negative talks about the presidency on social media and other media outlets, do you think Buhari will be patience enough to witstand criticism? Indeed, just like the Bible says, 'there's a way that seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof leadeth to death.

It's only those that can not engage in superior argument that resorted in insults. I started following nairaland when I was in high school but now I have graduated from the university, working, I have never insulted anybody on this platform before. And I wish to use this medium as an avenue to announce that we're all entitle to our own point of view. We see things entirely differently. I have my values and moral compass that make me respect everybody irrespective of who you are or where you are. If you support Buhari or APC it's non of my business. I'm a reasoning being, and I'm supporting GEJ for reasons best known to me and you ought to respect that. I just think it's only uncivilized and uncultured fellas that resorted in insult. If you're too emotional please don't come online. Edit your comments and rip off all foul or derogatory words before posting. You always clamour for political change but you've refused to change. I never come to Nairaland with the intention of insulting anyone. You can go through my posts and let me know if I'm wrong. A lot of times I want curse people out for some comments made here but I'll rather not write anything than do that because I believe insults are counter-productive in almost any situation. Saying all that, I didn't mean to sound derogatory but the situation in Nigeria is frustrating and when I see people defend out president, it confuses me.

That aside, you agree he's not the best, so why defend him? You say there are no alternatives, so why not be neutral and assign blame equally. How you don't understand the reason certain people are asking GEJ to resign is one of those things that confuse me. The country is in a MESS!!! A huge mess and since he's the one on top, its only natural that people ask him to step aside if he can't clean up the mess.

Who is causing the mess is important but what's more important is the person we voted to clean it up. The mess is getting messier under his watch. If you hire a security man and things in your house keeps getting stolen, what would you do? You'll probably replace him with someone that can handle the situation better. It won't matter who is responsible for stealing the stuff, it won't matter if he blames the neighbor's kids the first thing that'll come to your mind is how to protect your family's life and your property. Hardly would you find someone that'll keep that security man just because its not his fault and because he claims its the neighbor's kids committing the crime.

The C-in-C is supposed to protect the lives of Nigeria, I'm not saying there's a magical person that'll stop killings forever but at least let's see some signs that things are being done which will include but not limited to making major arrests and exposing the financiers. We need solid intelligence agencies, a whole FG talking to fake reps of Boko Haram promising us a seize fire and release of the girls. Its bad!!!! Its really bad!!!!!
If you've read my other post you'll discover that I stated it categorically that I wanted an opposition party to act as watchdog but unfortunately the dog is now infected with rabies. How would you describe or explain a situation where APC the so called progressives created and provided avenues for PDP rogues? My point is that they are all thesame. Just like they say, the devil you know... I don't want an acrimonious, a haphazard, or a desultory change. There's no way APC will present Fashola, Okorocha, Oshomole or Tabuwal. These men can effect change but not Tinubu and Buhari cause their antecedents speak against them.

Now, did you notice I didn't say anything about the Israel and Uk questions?
