Crime › Re: 33-year-old Man Allegedly Removes Neighbour’s Scrotum During A Fight In Lagos by nedekid: 5:53pm On Mar 07, 2024
boxer022:
How did he remove a scrotum from the sac? The story is not complete.
Omo, some people are deadly fighters, he must have grabbed the epon very hard, held in to it during the shuffle, refused to let go despite screams from the "beneficiary", he likely squeezed tightly, encouraged by the screams, despite all the punches, bites comming from the victim, he kept his focus on those 2 epon eggs, blokos, balls, knowing he has a mission to accomplish.
Finally with all his strength, he yanked at the scrotum dislodging it from between the victims "gentleman's" area, leaving the gbola in place.
Guess what, to add insult to injury, he then raised the appendage high above his head like a trophy he just won.
On a serious note, when we were kids and visited a village, we saw two village women fight so ferociously, one held on to the others hair, despite all the punches, she held on so strong as if her life depended on it. Omo, next thing we heard was a sick popping sound, this woman pulled out the woman's hair with the scalp attached! Guy every where went silent, call it shock or what ever, the woman screamed, that was what brought is to reality! Of course you know what happend next. See take off! angry

I see absolutely no reason why garri should be so expensive since it isn't even a healthy snack or food. You guys should please reduce how you consume it and watch how the price will crash.
Lolz, oga, as far as diesel is sold for 1600, 1800 per liter, prices are not crashing for foodstuff. It's either people buy it at the current price or if there is low demand, it remains in the farms, unprocessed.
Abi is it not diesel they use to run the processing machines and to transport it to the cities?

But we are yet to have both father and son as President like the United States. The Bush Family for example, there are others in the past, father and son. If Seyi becomes Governor of Lagos, we are coming close. Anyway, families such as the Clinton, Kennedy families, Bush for example have run the government in the U.S, father, wife and their children.

It is pure privilege and the Grace of God that Seyi is enjoying. Why the bad belle from Abati.
Truelly, we as Nigerians are really bleeped in the brains if this is the consensus among some people.

Love800:
What do u mean by dat last statement?
When you are older and need to replace that tooth cheaply removed, you find out the cost is plenty.
Eg. When I was a teen, I pulled out a tooth that broke. I could have simply done a root canal with capping procedure. It was like 15k, but I removed the tooth for maybe 2k.
Few years later around 2004, I went to scubbs rental clinic, Apapa, guess what? I was billed $1250 for an implant replacement.
Dont forget as you grow older, missing teeth causes collapse face

santaclaws:
They've been selling noodles in nylon like this for as long as I can remember, same way they sell broken/deformed ice cream cones... It's usually students that buy and eat them as snacks.

Some of these are leftover products from the factories that produce them and some are from distributors who discard damaged noodles that way.

The above isn't to deny that lots of Nigerians are passing through hardship during this period, it's just to shed more light on it as it's not a new development.
It is used as feed for animals, not for human consumption as it is spillage and not properly, hygienically handled. Personally we buy them for our dogs, domestic chicken, pigins (birds), our goats also snack on them. We buy from oko oba market, opposite the abattoir. It is for farm animals, sold in huge sacks.

Amen.

Baba God, please help me, just a phone call that will change my condition, story and status forever
We have to make sure we are not the average Nigerian that does not have the habit of picking their calls. You will call someone for business phone will ring they will not pick only to call you back hours later, saying they were not holding their phone, some will say it was charging, some that they left it in the car, in the office or workshop etc.
Eg, I was with someone 2 weeks ago, she wanted to redo her kitchen cabinets, and was calling her carpenter. I told her of my guy that does good furnitures, she said I should call him. Na so I start to call, for where, my guy no pick. 2 hours later her furniture guy came and they agreed on 1.4m. 1 hr later my guy called me say him been leave him phone for office commot. I just shake head say OK.
Meanwhile this my guy get financial issues ohh, of which he had to borrow 200k.
This one na small money matter, but na so e de be for big money own too.

TINTINABULATION:
There is nothing so special here until we are privy to the Memorandum of Understanding between Abia State Government & Cranburg Construction. That is the document that will list all the roads to be constructed with the money. There is no law forbidding a private organization, such as Cranburg to approach its bankers for facility to execute a contract. If Access Bank finds her customer, Cranburg Construction credit worthy, then public opinion holds no sway
Its just like China issuing a loan to nigeria to build an airport, the airport construction must be done by China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCEC) the Chinese construction firm employing Nigerians but supervised by Chinese managers. A lien is placed on the account under the condition Nigeria must approve before money is drawn by the CCEC. Ie there are checks and balances.
Basically what this means is that politicians will not squander the money, china will get their loans repaid, the infrastructure will be built.
This is the difference between the Chinese and western owned imf, world bank etc.
Imf will give Nigeria loan, politicians will still it and take back to western banks, the infrastructure will not be built, meanwhile the citizens (country) is left to pay the loans for generations.
The Chinese alternative on the other hand works, that is why you see airports, rail, trains, bridges, roads, ports all over Africa built by Chinese, while you cannot see any legacy infrastructure from western loans.
In this case, acess bank is the China, abia state is Nigeria, while wigwes wife's construction company is CCEC.
The state wins because 50b(which the state does not have) worth of infrastructure will be done, the bank will have confidence it's money will be used and paid back not squandered.

sweetgala:
And the Nigerian people through their stake in NNPCL, CBN and other agencies who have a position in the refinery (I believe 20%) would continue to benefit the returns of these investments into the national treasury.

The issue I have is the underhand dealings of tye CBN and the FX issued for the construction of the refinery so mush is clouded in mystery.
But we know we will likely not feel the effect of returns into the national treasury. They will go the usual Naija way or at best used to import and pay subsidy on petroleum products. Are we not then back to square one?
The only way we can get the benefit of that refinary is not through the treasury but through petrol, aviation and diesel fuel at the pumps. Just imagine the devastation diesel sold at 1600 has brought to the economy, companies shutting down, or early breaking even not to talk of making profit. Do you know currently, 80% of production cost for factories is going on diesel? What about haulage to move products, produce around the country? I hear it cost 4m+ to hire a trailer from Lagos to kano.
Why is government not insisting dangote fulfill the agreement he has with Nnpc ie a particular % of production will be used to refine Nigerian crude for domestic consumption?
