I think the contention is how he got into the school, not if he graduated or was a student. Assuming that girl that claimed to have scored the highest jamb score then used her "result" to gain admission. Once it is discovered at her final year clearance, or even after graduation, what happens? The university recalls such certificate. |

fxexperts: and when your country decides to print more Naira without notice to the Chinese government and then we will now have excess paper in Naira form to buy more goods from China without any value, is that not cheating to the other government in this case. You made a valid point. The discussion I believe is about India paying uae for crude in rupees instead of the normal usd ie the usual western system of payments. Lots of countries are seeing reason to avoid having to depend on the dollar, which exposes them to higher cost, makes them also exposed to eg US sanctions. This brings the purpose of brics, countries willing to trade together and major purpose is to make payments for their goods and services in either a decided new means of payment eg currency or settle within their local currencies. As per your concerns if one country decided to print more currency etc. Those are modalities that will be sorted our or agreed on. I am no economist, but I assume that Nigeria sells it's crude to China, China pays Nigeria out of its stock of naira, Nigeria buys goods from China and pays China through its stock of yuan. There is no need for dollars. Value of currencies can be peged to eg gold. It makes both currencies stronger. Afterall that is what makes the dollar which is ordinary printed paper, backed with nothing, have value. Because people see it as a reserve currency and change their money into dollar before any trade. Dont forget years ago, dollar was backed with gold but in the 70s it became ordinary paper backed with nothing . Read about the bretttonwood agrement. Nigeria started this with currency swap arrangement few years ago. Kindly read the below link https://businessday.ng/uncategorized/article/explainer-what-to-know-as-china-nigeria-currency-swap-record-n436-67bn/As I said earlier, I am no economist. People with better knowledge can educate us better. |

And you might be one of the people clamouring for good governance Do you think your country will grow? Do you think there will be jobs in your country? That is a modern slavery.
You guys need to start thinking and not just talking. Oga, the topic here is is trade without the dollar but local currencies. All you said is irrelevant to the discussion. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Dollar Dumped? India Bought 1m Barrels Of Oil From UAE Using Rupees Instead Of $ by nedekid: 8:32am On Aug 27, 2023 |
cenaman: Which country will accept naira? Countries you have bilateral trade with eg China we export oil, timber etc to. They also export finished products to us. China will have naira reserves while we will hold yuan. We do not need to change our money to dollar before buying things on eg aliexpress. This was proposed about 6 years ago, but in the usual naija way, nothing was done about it. There is no reason I want to buy something from Ghana, I will the change my money to dollar first. It will even help the naira improve against the dollar as there will be less demand for the green back. We can see the usuall naija shenanigans, we did not apply to join BRICS. Others have joined. |

Niger coupists have lule pii . The disgrace of these coupists will teach the other impostors that they will not be tolerated. If you want power, remove uniform and go form or join a political party and canvass for votes to win an election and legitimacy in a democracy.
The moment those who jinxed Mr Obi, Mr Nnamdi Kanu, GEJ, Alhaji Atiku, Trump, Wagner etc with their bad luck of support started supporting the coupists, I knew they have been jinxed. Nobody or no organisation this unpatriotic bitter people support ever succeeds. Check my signature for free stuffs!

Can you imagine the folly of our country? Others applied and have been accepted. It is said that progressively it will become more stringent to join, ofcourse easier at the early stage. I was shocked not to see Nigeria on the list of newly admitted members. What is wrong with us for God's sake? Imagine the benefit to us trading with our local currency with other members, it will even reduce the demand for usd and therefore improve the value of the naira. Anyway, it is likely the US would have issued orders to oga at the top warning him not to join or face consequences. |
