<quote> Jealous? Christians, jealous of Muslims? Christianity jealous of Islam? Lmao. There is nothing in Islam for a Christian to be jealous of, I assure you of that. Hehe. I will leave it at that. . . if you never in your life say something that foolish again. </quote> Ekt, Would you like a list? Lol. There's plenty for you all to be jealous on. |
Islam rules, I hope u know nagoma was only spinning humor. <Quote> Christians are fans of holy land like Shilo, Canaan land e.t.c </quote> On this piece here, yo ever been to canaan? That's ancestral home of Yorubas before migration from East. |
Oh my God, guess what I found? The handcuffs were used here https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?topic=721451.0;wap2 |
Oh, so Awolowo did not love his people? Go and sit somewhere with that solemn preach on Ojukwu. We wish Ikemba well, but for God's sake let these guys enjoy themselves, don't spoil their fun. |
So what do you think about pastors owning private jet and usng bdygrd with gun? What's his fear? |
May his soul rest in peace! |
In any case, the Aro confederacy were who? Igbo aborigines or settlers. The political authrity wa Aro but it had people that run it. Where was the Aro ruling class, which dominated the Eri settler from? We know Eri a human and is a settler. Who was here first, the rulers of Aro or Eri? |
guys have been taking shots at Awo so i guess Ojuku is fair game. ----------------- Omo, there is nbo question about it. |
First of all, OPC is not militant. Its a progressive group for the defense of Yorubaland. Their action that yu described is inaccurate. Here is what happened. You see Yoruba peple, we always warn before we strike. Or let me say, we used to warn before a strike at the opponent; not anymore! Several times the Northereners tresspased beyond their boundaries. They were warned repeatedly. When our noble OPC struck, it was against the Hausas/Fulanis but you see the Igbos never witnessed or known Yorubas to be insane, . . .the bloodshed they saw shook their apirit and even though they were not under attack, they took to their heels and left town and went East. You can imagine if they were the target, I wonder where they would go. So OPC is not like MEND, MASSOB, BOKO and all those amnestied terrorists out there. You hear my friend? |
So there are two fathers? I don't get it. There are two igbo descendant lines coming from two distinct anestors. Right? One of the ancestors, Aro dominated Eri who is the settler. Correct? Is Aro aborigine or settler? |
Nri and Aro. And why do these Igbo fathers hae three letter words, wassup with that? What's with the three? |
So who are the other two fathers, where they came from? |
You have three fathers so far. Something is wrong!! |
Our founding father, Eri Ben Gad described himself as Heebo, after his Hebrew ethnic group. ----------- See! I told you all these people are confused. Where they come from goes with the direction the wind vane points. |
Rhino, Are u a pastor? |
<quote> RESPECT IS RECIPROCAL. learn to respect there leaders and they would respect your leaders. </quote> Alj, Just stand back and let those guys tell these igbos what they need to hear but no one had the courage to tell them. They were warned severally not to attack and insult Yoruba leaders but it was fun to them. Stand back let Yoruba guys have their turn at fun. |
I thought they are covered by the blood of Jesus (SAW). Why bodyguard and gun? They should walk their talk! |
Nymph, The concept and the rollout is not new, it has been here since, I think, 2003. The christians are criticizing it but forget that Igbos (99.99% christians) already owned a chunk of Jaiz bank's shares. Anambra state is also said to be a beneficiary. So Nigerians, except Yorubas I guess, have been participating in the investment. |
Dem-people, Is a lot of things that need to be renamed in Lagos. |
2mch, No mind them. Just because - "'Eko' is a Benin word which means 'War Camp'. Lagos " - is on internet they take it as accurate record. Awori owned the land not Bini. It was Erekosi long before Bini arrived. |
OGA is smart to understand and share his belief that Sanusi is working on a Northern agenda. He repeatedly said that Nigeria may break up before 2015, so why is he advocating talking about working together to preserve the nation? There should be two camps in SNC, those who want repair and recover and those who want wind-down and dissolve. <quote> If the Boko haram say they want shariah, let it be through the confab. If they say they don’t want western education, let them discuss it at the confab through their delegates and representativ </quote> Why should be Boko be in a SNC discussion? this dude is not serious, he wants a terrorist to deliberate and negotiate on what to do with Nigeria. That's dumb! |
Mc-kane, Eko is not a Bini word. ------------- <quote> What of "Eko" ? where's that from? </quote> Eko is shorthened from "Erekosi", an Awori word for pepper farm. |
If a father wintnesses his young boys arguing and quarreling over an issue, he is instinctively prodded to intervene and resolve the quarrel. The wise thing to do is remain within hearing distance but give them the latitude to squabble and quarrel and argue. Soon the innate self-preserving alarm will go off and one of them will stand down and de-escalate the issue. This approach empowers the boys to learn the truth in negotiating personal interests. A premature intervention by the loving father will dull the boys ability to resolve problems and conflicts later in life. Our governments and governors are loving. They are quick to rush in with solutions at the slightest hint of a problem. This dulls our creativeness to resolve social barriers that impede progress and development. People will soon learn on their own that okada transportation on Lagos streets is as same as playing with a docile but adorable python. You don't know when it last ate and if its due for another meal. Its a very deadly risk, there will be no second chance! So the state really ought to stay away from regulating it and just let the demand die naturally when enough people (due to losses) no longer desire to ride one. |
@post, It is irresponsible to have this type of conscience that a Nigerian does not have a responsibility to develop the country. Selfish! It is a personal to return to the country or not but everyone of us must keep it in mind that we are ready and able when called to help and serve the cause of Nigeria. To put this topic in perspective and understand it thouroughly, this has the same weight as someone who has been warned by his father not to tarnish the family name but then gets abroad and says well, no one knows what I'm doing and nobody knows my name here so I'm just going to do what I want as a personal choice and unburden myself from that family tradition. That's rebellion and a selfish, inconsiderate person. |
@post, In terms of comparative advantage I'm suspecting its an outsourced venture in which the state is providing land and funding but not the manpower or operations. if that's true, then the focus is geared at internatonal market - exports! That notwithstanding, there could be a subsidized ratio for home consumption. You also have the vertical industries, breakfast cereal, animal feeds and so on |
Portuguese/lagoon |
Whobemumu, Maybe you cannot, but I can trace my ancestry. Obiagu, This story belong in disney, not in NL. How can you count on Ijaw to tell the story of Nigerians when he already believes any time he come out of water for some rest the soil he steps foot on, never mind that it could be in Cotonou, is his community. |
Hey don't respond to that. I'm sleepy! |
You mean his state, right? But no doubt he is also Igbo. |
Clap, clap, clap!!! Now the talk for dissolution can start. |
