Foreign AffairsRe: H1n1 . . .the Follow Up! by NegroNtns(op): 12:59am On Jan 27, 2010
Yeah I agree with David. I actually prefer that the forecast was more aggressive than passive. Its better to plan for the worst and experience the best, than plan for the best and experience the worst.
I am yet to see anyone that does not like an effective contingency. We all do!

Its problematic when forecasts intrude into civil liberties. H1N1 was an intrusion of liberties, that's my point. . .I'm not opposed to planning.

. . .it is self evident that the "what ifs" are gateways through which the mind can be broadened to allow in additional possibilities for consideration of their relevance, anecdotal or factual.

Stopping at the accusation that the robbery occurred due to a statistical or stereotypical conclusion of (a) illict drug use, (b) criminal intent, will without doubt close the mind and block the duiscovery and introduction of a new knowledge, . . .that is the use of prozac have certain after effects that is injurious to the user and the public.

This opportunity for discovery. . .for awareness, however bizzare the idea may be on first look cannot be prized. Te US government know this and they apply it in their intelligence operatios.

That
Foreign AffairsRe: Earthquake Test Goes Horribly Wrong! by NegroNtns(m): 10:34pm On Jan 26, 2010
E.g. a man robs a liquor store: Likely verdict? A petty criminal or drug addict needing money.

No one sits down and says 'what if he is an alien from outer space who has come to steal our alcohol'? in the name of engaging in abstract thought.
. . ."what if" his prozac medication, and not any inclnation for crime or drug addiction made him do it?
Foreign AffairsRe: Earthquake Test Goes Horribly Wrong! by NegroNtns(m): 10:08pm On Jan 26, 2010
. . .Sam, ever wonder why the more Africans you educate the further we evolved backward?

Its due to reluctance to think abstractly and consider the "what if".

I had the grace to participate sometime ago in a focus group. There are about 18 intelligence agency units in US and they are headed by the DNIA. There is a national situation room and a national war room under that directorate. People that work there have no guidelines for conformity. . .they are there to break all rules and challenge all notions.  It is an elite position of the intelligence community. . .kinda like what SEAL is to the military.

If American Intelligence opeators can staff and run a zero theory unit, a place that encourages and welcomes the most bizzare ideas, that says a lot about the value and relevance of abstract and independent thinkers to the progress of the Empire, does it not.
Foreign AffairsRe: 2010 Election. . .the Tea Party Paradigm by NegroNtns(op): 9:14pm On Jan 26, 2010
. . .hmm, mrs right! well, let me say Amen.

To the Palin issue, she did not canvass for the VP position, she was selected for it. Her story so far, to some extent, parallel that of Obama on the national stage. If Obama had not been selected to give the speech at the convention, we would not at this time be celebrating his Presidency. Palin was comfortable being a mom and a naturalist until she was exposed to the nation. She has tasted a honey too sweet to turn away from. I do believe that the negative coverage and the loss helped to decelerate her aspiratons and broke her spirit on one part but then, like the typical adventurer that she is, she would not buckle to adversarial challenges and so resigned from state politics and advanced to the national stage.

She, better than anyone, know that the game play at national level has higher skillsets than she is equipped for and therefore she would need to update and rehearse the roles. She is in the right place at the moment to get that necessary exposure that will solidify her for a run post 2016. . . unless however, as I stated in last post, "The People" run amock and demand her for 2012.

We shall see. . .lol.
Foreign AffairsH1n1 . . .the Follow Up! by NegroNtns(op): 5:58pm On Jan 26, 2010
Couple of months ago forecasts were released to the public warning that thousands of people would be infected and die from the H1N1 virus. Governmment said people should go get shots to prevent infection.

This is a follow up. Can anyone tell us if you know how many people have so far died in comparison to the forecast.
Foreign AffairsRe: 2010 Election. . .the Tea Party Paradigm by NegroNtns(op): 5:46pm On Jan 26, 2010
Lol, don't let her husband hear you
dang! you are mean! angry

. . .no worries dear, Palin is a kingmaker for now. There is only one instance where she could become President in 2012 and that is if "The People" revolt against all rules and insist that they will fall behind any party platform that field her as a candidate.

Foreign AffairsRe: Why Is The Us Military Occupying Four Airports In Haiti? by NegroNtns(m): 5:26pm On Jan 26, 2010
Some guys just read news and get contented with it while some see holes through some news and ask questions.
Very true! We will need a new topic, possibly in the domestic politics section, to discuss this problem but let me say here that as a factor this reluctance to break out and see news media for what it is. Whether it is free press or censured press or government controlled press, in principle all news media outlets to some degree regard themselves as advocates for the citizen. They see themselves as the intermediary between the people and the government and that in their absence the government would behave badly and with impunity in its mandates, thereby loosing all sense of accountability and goodwill.

The western media like to pride itself as free press and the custodian of human rights. Tell me one western nation that does not already rule its citizens with impunity. So how effective is the free press in doing oversight on behalf of the people? They hae all failed. . .the qualifier is meaningless, the free press is as ineffective as the censored press. Matter of fact the censored press fares better because from our stand point we know where we stand in regard to the effectiveness of the censored press, whereas a lot of us. . . the follow-follow people you alluded to, . . .believe and trust in anything and everything coming out of free press. Their conclusion, however much it raises the eyebrows, is final. I guess the zombies are enamored with the word "free" and don't see it worthwhile to question anything "free" press say.

I believe people should read news but people must have an acute sense of discrimination to filter substance from a lot of bs coming out of these press.

may Dipo's soul rest in peace!

I will advise you guys to put your talent to work by authoring some works of fiction.  Afterall, Micheal Moore did the same thing and made himself a millionaire even though he critices capitalism.  What a bunch of self delusional hypocrites.
How do you know we don't already have published works, whether in fiction or non-fiction?

I know you want proof. . . right?

what is the terrible news, can u share?
Foreign AffairsRe: Earthquake Test Goes Horribly Wrong! by NegroNtns(m): 3:42am On Jan 26, 2010
What I do know is that there is sufficient proof to show this earthquake was natural.
No, . . .the only thing we all know is that there is sufficient proof that no one has produced a model of outcomes for a 7.0 quake.

I know you don't put relevance on that measurement but I do. Its the keyword to the whole thing. Data values are analyzed based on measurements. So if measurement is no relevant. . .then how can the data or the model be credible?

Unless of course you are using the now famous tactic employed by the East Anglia scientists to manipulate and hide inputs and generate results that fools like yourself then subscribe to as "proofs" to support and aid your dependent mind.

Hey Sam,

I'm sure you already know this but just a reminder. Some people come in here as Mr A and when they run into stronger opponents they go out and return as Mr Z in hope their nonsense will be recived differentlly and they can get their way.

There are also people whose identity is restricted but they create new one and come in and nnounce who they are. announce their new identity. . .the reminder is about the first kind, not the second.

Thanks for bringing that view from Moore. Michael Moore started with abstract ideas, thinking and reasoning independently. . .look where he is now. If he had been waiting timidly depending on what other people produce. . .he might never be who he is now. Carl Sagan took abstract ideas and made them into scientific studies. Isaac Newton, Archimedes. . .

Anyway, allow me to get back to the topic,

What are the gains to America if it succeed in staging Haiti as a protectorate? I hear there is oil. Okay, can we find three top gains, counting the oil prospect as one of them.

I'm thinking Free Trade in the Americas qualify as a second gain. Particularly in view of new realingments and treaties between some South American natons and China. Is this preemptive?

What would the third gain be? Anyone know?

@Negro
My discovery is that some guys just open nairaland with intentions of attacking people who doesnt agree with them.
The blood pumps up negatively as soon as they see the post below theirs was made by perceived opponent.
Nothing is more dangerous than a sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity
and i detect that here simply because someone is trying to make himself look educated and wise and undefeatable.
Ignorance is the night of the mind, a night without moon or star.
Sam, I never paid attention to it but hearing you say that I went back to review some of my poss and you hit the nail on the head. debo is ambitious but for wrong reasons. He perceives people with independent thoughts as threat to his fame in NL and so he comes after people aggressively looking for flaws and errors that he can amplify to discredit personality. . .meanwhile the merit on the discussion maybe solid and credible. . .he does not care about that, he just want throw punch and knock you off from displacing his popularity with his harems. . . and the ones unfortunately intimidated by his grmmatical bleen bleen! He is a fool but like I said, he is ambition. . .and I got a job for him from now on!

Your fallacy is now out in the open. .  .you are naked!

I hear there were people in here who would not challenge your ignorance because you intimidated them with your vocabs.  is that right?  you ought to be ashamed of yourself!  Guess what??  . . .no more!  They have seen your stupidity on this encounter.

People should be empowered, not intimidated!

So that your follhardiness is revealed in the open is sufficientt.

We shall see again. .
and I will be more than glad to make a fool of you if you misstep .
Foreign AffairsRe: Earthquake Test Goes Horribly Wrong! by NegroNtns(m): 7:14pm On Jan 25, 2010
In addition to ignorance you are also foolish to think I'm one of your fans who find joy digesting your subscribed prrofs. You better read what Japanese authorities said about Kobe quake and the aftermath destruction to their city, roads included. You love to jump into conversations looking flaws rather than ccontrubuting ideas. YOu have gone too long enjoying thrills its time to shut you up. There is nothing you have proven on my points and questions. I'm wasting valuable time responding to people who cannot simply exercise their independent mind to assess issues without necessarily stunting on credits for fan following.
Hey Razur, I'm downgrading you below a sheep status. You say lighter designs in cars defy the principles of motion.

Oh. . .anyway! Its time to blog and talk with people with power of discovery. debo thought discovery in this sense means invention . .the idiot was aking what I ever unvented. that discovery means growth and self development.
Foreign AffairsRe: Earthquake Test Goes Horribly Wrong! by NegroNtns(m): 5:39pm On Jan 25, 2010
Mr 'discoverer' kindly tell us where you discovered that C-130's need 3 miles to land and take off
dummy is comparing landing on a carrier with no payload to landing, at full payload, on a airport tarmac.
At 100m/hr, with a payload of 200lbs weight I can bring a car to a full stop within x distance.

When you change the weight and make it 600lbs, it can be deduced without any need for proofing that the distance will no longer be x, but y. This is called application of knowledge. Your dummy ass is stuck in theoretical jingos. . .and Sam said it best whe he said dudes like you study physics and english and art but never connect the dots between the classroom and the realities of your sorrounding. I could not have put it any better.

You made the same failure when you brought proofs that left off the marker of the quake. You don't thing the 7.0 is significant or relevant to your proof but trust me. . .it makes the difference, just as the distance/ weight factor does in that hercules landing.

Get it right !
Foreign AffairsRe: Earthquake Test Goes Horribly Wrong! by NegroNtns(m): 4:30pm On Jan 25, 2010
Negro claimed that earthquakes MUST destroy roads and cannot destroy buildings on both sides of a road without the road itself being destroyed.
I have repeatedly used the value 7.0, I repeatedly used the words "plausible", "unlikely", "intuitive", "logical" but no where did I use the word "MUST"!  You are twisting the story here to score points.

I said it does not follow logic that given the magnitude of this quake and the evidence on the ground, that it can be concluded this is a natural action.  This has been my theme from the time I joined the discussion.  Get it right!  If you need help from your experts to help review my responses and break it into comprehensible units that you can process then do that but don't spin and lie. I never said if ccondition A exist then condition B "MUST" occur.  That's empirical. . .I do not claim that power.

I have elicited incontrovertible (there I go again ) proof that the CAUSE of such road destruction is the surface deformation, liquefaction or settlement. These three phenomena were not experienced in Haiti due to the geological make up of the island. The dominant effect was seismic shaking which destroys buildings and NOT roads.
You see, this is what I'm saying about your ignorance and dumbness.  See how you keep saying "proof" repeatedly!  You have not proven anything.  Yes you have provided informaton obtained from Goole or Wiki or wherever you got it but they are manufactured works, not originality of thinking or reaasoning produced as a result of debo's independent discovery.
I will tell you like I told Razur, . . .there is a time for everything, sometimes proofs are not required to analyze what is ordinarily an elementary evidence.  Stop proving and start discovering!

As a result, the assertion of Negro that the lack of destruction to roads indicates a man-made source has been completely nullified.
Nowhere in all the works you so far referced from the experts have you showed study reports of what a 7.0 magnitude quake will do.  That's my interest. . .the severity level of the seismic action and what the possibilities of the aftermath people should expect.  Get to work on that for me would you!

As people who claim to have 'higher imagination', I would expect you to clearly admit defeat and let us move on to other points, but no, 'advanced' minds like yours cannot comprehend admitting error in the face of superior information.
lmao!  you are funny! In the face of superior information eh!   You call subscribed thinking superior.  You sure are misguided.

I'm waiting for you to get all your information from google abput peninsula and all that, then I will tell you what I think of them.
Foreign AffairsRe: Terrorism. . .is The War Winnable? by NegroNtns(op): 6:31am On Jan 25, 2010
Muhsin,

sorry few days has gone with no response, I did not forget the post.

To get to your query, if we look in the scriptures the details are there but I should leave that open and allow individuals to read it up on their own. What is remarkable is that terror can manifest itself in a way least likely to trigger suspicion .

Example -
in the King's court in Egypt, Moses entered the Palace with his staff. Now, in that period, a wooden staff is a symbol of status and is not an item of threat to persons. In the presence of the King and the King's priests, Moses turned his harmless staff into a "terrorizing" serpent.

In another example, it is said that as part of the proceeding into the final days "The Trumpet shall sound". Now, who doesn't love music? In an essemble, a trumpet produces very sweet and harmonious notes. But here in the last days, a harmless instument shall sound the note of fury, "terrifying" mankind to gather for his day of account.

. . .I could go on and on but I believe the examples already given are enough to know where I'm going with this.

When we talk about terrrorism let us weigh the points and the history of mankind. Terrorism is not a new phenomena and neither is it Islamic. . .it is an atrocity of mankind. Its like stealing, murder, manslaughter, prostitution. . .and so on and so forth.

Would you call the Tuskeegee scientists terrorists or medical pioneers? How about those European doctors imprisoned in Libya for innoculating innocent children with AID virus, are they terrorists or NGOs rendering help to poor people? How should we treat Pfizer in the episode where it gave drugs banned in USA and Europe to children in Nigeria, as terrorists or as pharmacists? How should we label the men who took one of the greatest inventions of mankind. . .one that beats all odds and gave mankind the power of flight. . .and slammed it into buildings, terrorists or disgruntled men?

Terrorism is a thread. . .the color you see today is the dye used yesterday. Tomorrow, the thread will be soaked into the pit and it shall come out with a different color.

Mankind has failed to eradicate theft. We failed to eradicate murder or prostitution. Just how conceivable is it that we would win the war against terrorism, an intimate part in our alter ego?
Everyone neglects the fact that Isreal was the first country to reach Haiti with medical staff
check the one below without 'perhaps' and see if there is a difference in constructive meaning.

. . .the sheep, in his accustomed habit of sampling manufactured conclusions hosted by different pundits, has been fed too many ready made answers, and in his eagerness to hurry back here and stunt with pseudo-intelligence lost himself in the confusion and mumbled "certainty" with "uncertainty". and even after it was pointed to him, he still would not concur. Sam, I am surprised the sheep did not demand you to provide proof and facts to discredit his error. . .That's a first!
Foreign AffairsRe: Why Is The Us Military Occupying Four Airports In Haiti? by NegroNtns(m): 3:07am On Jan 25, 2010
They had more than a year's notice before being sent abroad.  Please do us a favor and kindly prove to us that there has been any NG unit deployed abroad with less than a few month's notice.  I will thank you profusely if you can prove that I am wrong.
Hey, I don't care if your wife is a colonel in the NG, I'm telling you that the timing is dependent on the need and the urgency. When you wear the US military uniform you are a property of the Government, not of a private employer. The government tell when, where and why they want you be at your station. . .and you better not be late getting there! its their prerogatie if they want you to report in 48hrs, 30days, 6months, 1yr. . .that's all determined by the top brass. Just because your friend got was given 1yr notice does not make that the fixed rule.

You want facts? Tayo are you asking me to provide you with facts? I can't believe you will say that. You have known me here for a long tme, tell me one occasion where I ever asked anybody to supply me with facts or prove anything to me here.

I follow discussions but if I need fact or proof on the topic I "independently" follow the ead in the narrative to arrive at my own conclusion. I never demand anyone to bring proof or facts. You know why? Sheperds don't follow . . .we lead! We pioneer, we challenge and blaze the trail!

You are yet to respond on my offer to coach and free you from your subscription to manufactured facts and proofs. So I will give you a free lesson right here and now on the first step to obtaining facts.

You want supporting evidence on tour of duty notice for US National Guard. What you do is you use keywords. If you have followed me you will know I'm notorious for identifying "keywords". Its critical!

What is the keyword on this contention? Its "notification for tour of duty" The information will be found in military manual. Military manuals are technical documents, therefore the keyword must be translated into a technical term, . .MOBILIZATION NOTICE.

The manual is available for you so if you are truly curiuos, as I believe all intellectuals should be, then you will self initiate a discovery, instead of begging to be fed a ready made conclusion. . . .but you are a sheep, so its clear why you prefer to follow, and reluctant to lead.

Let us know what you discover in the manual.
Foreign AffairsRe: Why Is The Us Military Occupying Four Airports In Haiti? by NegroNtns(m): 6:40am On Jan 24, 2010
Conspiracy theories! They never cease!
As long there are sheep there will forever be sheperds to corall them. . .

Someone asked why the National Guard was sent to New Orleans while the Army was sent to Haiti.  It's like asking why the military was sent to Iraq and not the Police Force.  The National Guard duty is mainly domestic.  They are not set up to work overseas except if they are embedded with the military.
Yeah I said that!! Are you sure you want to debate American military history with me? Listen pal, The National Guard was the first component of the US military force. From their inception to date they have always been sent to foreign soil when deemed necessary and in a number of times as the only force deployment. . . not as an embed unit. Get your historical account right from wherever you are subscribing it. If I may add, The US National Guard had been on tour of duty to Haiti before. So sending them now, instead of Marines would be quite in place and a match for their role to the US disaster recovery efforts in that nation.

Besides, most members of the National Guard work full time in the private sector.  It takes time to call them off work and get them out there, unlike the military men that are soldiers 24/7!  If we were to call up the National Guard, I doubt the US will have 500 people in Haiti now.
Sam, here comes another fool! Tayo, shut up! You have active and non active reservists. This classification is an attribute of their priority in line to a service call (activation). It does not in anyway relate to scheduling in their personal lives. If active or non active reservists are contacted to report for tour, they must be at the designated reporting location within a stipulated time and that time is managed by the military, not their private sector employer. An employer cannot say I need him/ her to finish a project before leaving to report to unit training.
You sure have lost your mind!

It's quite funny that people are raising eyebrows about the IDF being in Haiti.
Because IDF immersed itself in a scenario that truly raises the eyebrows! There is nothing funny in that, unless you are Tayo D!

Everyone neglects the fact that Isreal was perhaps the first country to reach Haiti with medical staff, set up hospitals and treat the Haitian people.
When you say "fact", you are giving a sense of certainty. Then you continue and say "perharps" to express uncertainty. Get back to the people that manage your thinking and bring a better story to support your argument.

Perhaps the IDF is there to protect them knowing that the hordes of Allah will not hesitate to go kill any Isreali wherever they get the chance.  The lessons of Munich '72 is not lost on Isreal even though the rest of the world suffer such amnesia.
So you don't think those hordes can reach and kill the Israelis that live in US inspite of the fresh memory of 9/11. . .or in India inspite of the recent Mumbai massacre in the Jewish Temple. . .or in Iran even though that's an Islamic state engaged in political duel with Israel?? . . .and yet IDF is not in any of these countries to play the role of savior for its citizens.

Would you like to enroll and take lessons from me on "critical thinking and independent analysis", or are you okay and comfortable with your subscribed thinking?
Foreign AffairsRe: Why Is The Us Military Occupying Four Airports In Haiti? by NegroNtns(m): 3:40am On Jan 24, 2010
Sam,

The pattern of intellectual indolence that you correctly observe is generic among black population all over.

Listen to black radio stations in America and see what I mean. They encourage listeners to listen to tune bites of popular songs and call in to match songs correctly with the recording rapper and for that they are rewarded with event tickets or even cash.

Meanwhile these listeners cannot name their representatives in congress. They don't know who represent them in the house of law and policies.  They don't know the capital of their own state. . .but they can tell you who lil wayne is dating or where rihanna vacationed last summer.  Life is music and music is life. . .but inbetween hardship stare us in the face. It is what we know of ourself and about our relative position among the brotherhood of mankind that will aid our aspirations for evolution. . .forward evolution that is!  Unfortunately, you and I belong in a race of mankind that does not want to be bothered about developing that self-knowledge.

White radio stations on the other hand challenge their listeners to adventures that promote the aspects of leadership skills needed to rule society.  They don't just challenge you to name the capital of Maine but they sponsor your trip to visit there if you get the answer right.

Oh, let me stop. . .its frustrating!  In fact I tell you what, its time for beer, I'm logging off.  See you around again Sam and if u are in US let me know.  I will host you to a herty chat over gourmet coffee.

Stay Blessed!   cheesy

. . .the mind is like a fertile land. We don't plant corn on a ploughed field. instead, we plant a seed. The seed then takes nurture from the soil and germinate. . .with time it becomes corn!

Similarly, the mind should not be planted with ready-made conclusions. Instead, it should be seeded with puzzling leads that in the process awakens its capacity to reach within itself and ponder, reflect, probe, assess, calculate, imagine, weigh, contemplate. . .all in the hope that the individual is enabled and empowered to reason independently and draw cconclusions free of manufactured outcomes. This is the beginning of self-development and enlightenement.

A conspiracy theorist is a creative mind. In position of influence a theorist has the capability to sheperd huge population of humanity. Theorists are social engineers. So be careful when you call people conspiracy theorists, because there are two types, the leader and the follower. . .the shepherd and the sheep,. . . . . . the independent thinker and the subscribed thinker!

Foreign AffairsRe: Why Is The Us Military Occupying Four Airports In Haiti? by NegroNtns(m): 11:37pm On Jan 23, 2010
One of my first questions in the outpour of responses to the Haiti disaster is why France wasn't in the forefront agressively leading the recovery effort. In the event that Nigeria shouuld have a massive disaster, God forbid, its counter intuitive and illogical that Spain or France should be the managers of the effort on our soil. We don't speak Spanish or French so the intimacy of therapy, which is critical to quality of life, will be greatly retarded by the language and communication barrier.

Therefore, we should wish for others what we would wish for ourselves if we were in their shoes. If any country was running the ground relief and recovery it shoul d be a French speaking country, not America.

Then to hear that they blocked France access, raises the political friction to the equivalent of human rights abuse.

Under UN rules, language is qualified as cultural. When you deny cultural links between peoples who by such ties might benefit socially and humanely, then you are interferring with their endowment to liberty and quality of life. It is a crime to deny life or liberty to a people.

I know US is not going to be charged for human rights abuse, and rightly so, considering that the energy and materials already poured into the aid is more than enough in goodwill and ought to wash away whatever insult is in our conscience for their bad boy mischief. Nonetheless, it ought to be on record as a "lessons learnt" encounter.

Well, if you believe that many people died then I have a question for you.

In comparison to the Asian Tsunami, on a scale of 1 to 10 measuring the severity, with 10 being same severity as the Asian disaster and 1 being far less, I want you to place the number of lives lost, the number of heads missing, the number of population displaced on that moving scale.

In reference to what you want me to see, I respond to what isee here. IF no response then I don't see it.
Foreign AffairsRe: Why Is The Us Military Occupying Four Airports In Haiti? by NegroNtns(m): 8:24pm On Jan 23, 2010
Over a million people displaced.
Over 200 000 dead.
Many more missing.
Infactructures is almost non-existent
Law and disorder starting to take off.
etc
