Christianity EtcRe: PASTOR AIO, Let's Discuss IFA. by NegroNtns(m): 5:51pm On Sep 02, 2010
Pastor,

Greetings and salutations to you. I am member of an interfaith discussion group that meet once monthly to discuss and understand the mysteries of the scriptures. We delve into the scriptures as well as their accompanying traditions, such as the Talmud and the Tanakh, The Septuagint as well as The Hadiths. I happen to be the only one in this group that has some basic knowledge of Ifa. All the other members were familiar but had no understanding.

Not too long ago we were on the subject of Adam and his creation and the mysteries underlying his formation as well as the creation of Eve . . . .

In reference to what you said here,

Orunmila is called enikeji olodumare. Olodumare's second in command. Eleri Ipin - that is witness to creation. Apparently when Olodumare was creating the world he was there observing everything, thereby giving him the knowledge of how everything works.
. . . without elaborating deeply, I'd like to say that Adam was Orunmila.

[uote]^^^in the case where you have said jesus, son of Mary was king, could you tell us how a throneless man can be king, in isreal?
this is like asking how could Moses become a prince in the household of Pharaoh. God anoints who He wants.
in the case where you said he is Lord, could you tell us why he said he is a servant of a Lord God Who is One?

in both cases, how do you justify the summation, above?
These are attributes to project the Majesty of God. Kind of like when a Yoruba youth prostrates to an elder and address him as Baba mi, even though the elder might not be his biological father. It is an expression of endearment and respect.

To imhotep,

My biggest issues with Moh@mmed are:
1) He never met Jesus
Neither did Jesus meet Adam, Noah, Abraham or Moses but he confirmed their positions.

3) Yet he comes on board 600years AFTER Jesus and begins to make DEFINITIVE statements about Jesus

4) The statements he makes are AT VARIANCE with the statements made by those who LIVED WITH Jesus.
I disagree with this impression. The statements Mohammed made about Jesus were the directives in the Gospel. He did not need to corroborate what the Apostles or wittnesses said. His instruction was to confirm the Gospel and warn. . . not to convert or to force anyone , but to warn!

5) The rest of us are supposed to sit back and accept that he had a DIVINE REVELATION about Jesus.

6) This is unacceptable to any right thinking mind
We are not juries for what the prophets did or didnt do in their times. . .we are required to understand the mysteries of the scriptures and to live it by faith.

Christianity EtcRe: Top 10 Reasons Why Jesus Christ Is Not God by NegroNtns(m): 6:53pm On Sep 01, 2010
Jesus Christ is a Messiah, he is Lord, he is King. . . but he is not GOD!

Depending on whether you are reading the Old Testament or The New Testament, the translations were done from scripts originally written in Aramaic, Hebrew and other Semitic tongues. So that where King in Aramaic is Abba, but Abba could also mean Master, Lord, Father and in Hebrew it might be Adonai with no further qualification in meaning. So to preach Bible to an Aramaic speaker you'd have to use Abba when referring to Jesus as Lord. To preach the Bible to a Hebrew speaker you'd have to use Adonai to call Jesus King.

You can imagine the many attributes and flavors of adoration used to project the majesty of Jesus as people migrate and are forced to practice Christianity in the different political tongues of their time - Greek, Latin and now English. Slowly, what was originally King has now evolved to become GOD!

Take that with distortions introduced by political bias in the governments of Pharaoh, Ceasar, Atta Xerxes, Cyrus, Alexander. . .and so on and so forth.

Here is a good example. . . The capital of Upper Egypt in time of Akhenaten was Djebes but it is now written as Thebes. Error!!

Rupert Murdoch is an Austrialian born American citizen who is not eligible to vote in the UK but he weighs too much power in the UK and US and controls about 20% of the media in both countries
. . . . . He is not even eligible to return to his homeland, Australia. US laws prohibits the primary ownership of a major news outlet by a foreigner. Murdoch was the first foreigner granted a waiver under that law. It was a reward for some covert act he executed while still in Australia and before his emigration.

The same thing you allege for Murdoch and Fox could be said of people like George Soros, General Electric and so many others.
. . . . . Murdoch's case is unique!
Foreign AffairsRe: Fox News And The Chicken Democrats by NegroNtns(m): 5:56pm On Aug 27, 2010
. . . . . . "throwing spaghettin on the wall".

This phrase best describe Fox news' style of reporting. You send a towncrier to humiliate your opponent in the public square. In the attempt to defend himself, the opponent end up digging himself into more trouble with the public.

The reason the 2000 Presidential election ended up in court is solely attributable to FOX news jumping ahead of CNN, before the Florida results were ratified, and declaring victory for BUSH. In the competition to break the news first and distribute downward to the local affiliates, all other networks ran with FOX's declaration. By next morning it was too late for GORE to disclaim BUSH's victory.

Look forward to another of their spaghetti tricks in 2012.

nopuq,

Rapture according to christianity, is where a sect of christians. . . only those who are born again. . .are spared death and are taken in an ascent with Jesus on the last day. I care to remind you that "Born again" is an evangelical brand, and not universally accepted by orthodox Christians.

. . .but does not the evangelical faith pardon all atrocities of mankind if only he would, moments before his last breath, accept Jesus as his saviour?

So now we have a man who lived a life of sin only to repent in the throngs of death join in with those who have sacrificed their desires and detached from their needs in the good cause of faith to God as they both ascend with Jesus.

What a manifest error!! You ever wondered why Christianity is the only one of the monotheistic religions that advocate turning the other cheek for more assault from your attacker? Well, I guess I can go about assaulting other people expecting they would be faithful sufficiently to turn the other cheek. . . and then when Im on my sick bed I can ask for my baptism and become "born again". That way I inherit the earth and then go inherit heaven too.

Anyway, this is all beside the point. . . .let's focus on the question of trinity. Anything you can add?

I do antagonize you on the notion that the US should be going out of her way and out of the "goodness" of her heart to institute policies that "help" other nations. Can you name one country on the earth does that?
dear that I did not clarify the response. The second portion of that was meant for Tayo. In any case, I should state that I am not advocating that "redistribution of resources" should be a handout. Never!! Case in point, look at what India is doing. They are empowered through lateral trade investments on their soil and they responded decidedly and with success. The outcome is a boost in their own domestic programs as well as confidence in their (Indians) abilities to add value to economies of their host countries. You will notice for past 10yrs they have increasingly emerged as top contenders in mainstream sectors of US economy.

So the Indians are indifferent to whether or not they are here permanently

I have just one question. Did the US forcefully invade any of these Nations, take over their governing bodies, act without the blessing or approval of the leadership and impose their own policies on the people?

At the end of the day every country is responsible for their own current situation and need to start looking in the mirror.
No US did not. . .however, there are many ways in which you can manipulate any society and people for a desired end. As I said, the need to follow resource is innate in our being.

If Jasper, Mississiippi feel Nigerians are not well represented in the demographics of their city and they want to invite that sector to Jasper, the city council can issue tax waivers and other incentives for a term (10 yrs, 15yrs. . .or whatever. . .) to attract Nigerian citizens.

If Billings, Montana feel they have too much cattle ranches but not enough grazing pastures to feed cattle, they can incent farmers (with very lucratice and interest free loans) to balance the need for agricultural growth.

My talk about resources is broad. . .not limited to just minerals. Also, by way of treaties. . . many of the seemingly roadblocks to social developments are bypassed. Under Clinton, USA had placed a trade ban on Sudan for assisting Osama but Sudan was the world's largest producer of gum arabic. . . a crucial resource for all bottled and canned products consumed in USA. So, to protect the consumer market, Clinton gave waivers to big companies like CocaCola via a treaty negotiated with a third country acting as conduit.

The Torah, The Talmud, The Quran and The Hadith all proclaim the Oneness of God. It is only The Bible that says God is a trine - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

It is good to point out that what we call Bible today should more appropriately be referred to as The Gospel. The transformation from Gospel to Bible occurred with the evolution and expansion of the different political regimes in Europe.

In its origin, The Gospel was written in semitic tongue. The Romans, were exporting their culture, arts and languages (Greek and Latin) and with that The Gospel was taken from its Semitic origin and translated into Latin and Greek.

As the different provinces of The Empire became autonomous, The Gospel was again transformed and exported in a new tongue across the Globe.

Both Torah and Quran has remained in their original tongues. . . but not The Gospel.

The Torah spoke of the coming of Jesus. The Quran spoke of his birth, his miracles and asserts that he will come back for the rapture. Neither accepts that he is God and both resoundingly bear testimony to the Oneness of God, with no associations whatsoever.

Can anyone explain where in The Gospel (Semitic version) is the TRINITY of GOD written?

@topic.

Migration is a natural and necessary act for mankind. We go where resources and chances of survival is plentiful.

To grow and prosper domestically, USA over the centuries, went around the globe destroying growth and prosperity of native people in foreign lands, near and far.

USA is currently over-populated by people who migrated here in accord with natural instinct for survival. Whether they are legal or illegal is a consequential outcome of their struggle.

If those foreign lands become increasingly resourceful and stable, their natives will be incensed to emigrate back.

My solution will be that USA develop a foreign policy that seek to re-distribute resources, growth and prosperity around the globe. This will help its over-burden domestic programs to function satisfactorily for its own citizens.

Canadians are not as eager to come to US illegaly as are Mexicans and both share common boundaries with US. This is because of the great disparity in growth and resources for both Mexico and Canada.

Foreign AffairsRe: Seattle Police Officer Punches 17yr Old Girl In The Face by NegroNtns(m): 9:29pm On Jun 23, 2010
Let's look at it from a legal standpoint.

What is the penal code for jaywalking in that city? In most American cities it is a citation. Was the officer in the process of enforcing the code, which would mean issuing a citation or was he trying to make an arrest?

If it's an arrest. . .what is the arrest for? If you arrest for jaywalking when the code calls for citation, then that means you are exercising personal discretion at the expense of the ordinance. The discretion could be attributed to racial bias if, as it eventually turned out, the officer behaved and acted in ways in which he would not have dispensed force if the victim had been a a white girl.

The burden of proof against the charge for racial bias will be on the police officer and the city. . . not on the victim!

She can earn millions from this case if she gets good representation. A black woman in Atlanta has just recently been given judgement in amount of 25,000 against the city. A white policeman confronted and asked why she was walking on a sidewalk. She counter-charged and asked him why she could not. He arrested her.

You can chalk this into the list of insults and direct assault on blacks, regardless of social background and status.

Prior to press, the context of the article was sampled for its impact.  It could have been modified or delayed for release but no one on the General's side objected to it.  There is a pervasive pattern of assault on blacks, regardless of the background or social status.

You assault them and then apologize later!  In some instances, you assault them and demand they apologize to you!!  Thats the case with the 17yr old punched in the face.  That was the case with Professor Gates.  That was the case with the dude in New York killed the night before his wedding.  How many more do we need to recall to establish this as a pattern?

And how do you know BP is 'miles deep' in carbon deficits?
I have no number to give you to that effect but the model proposed by White House, if it was implemented, would suggest that they are in that region. Just as much that there is no certainty on the exact number of barrells of oil spilling into the waters. . .at times a deductive clue is sufficient where an exact number is unobtainable.

The only reason BP and other companies are pushing for cap and trade is that it provides CERTAINTY for businesses - no one likes to plan ahead without having some coherent idea of the costs involved. Once you know how much it costs to emit carbon, then you can make a business decision on whether to emit or not, and not depend on an emotional or non-rational response due to a perceived 'love' of the environment.
BP does not need cap and trade to forecast their market performance. Their business is oil production, not environmental control and the two aspects are counter-harmonious. The oil industry generally embraced cap and trade proactively to forestall impending regulations. The indexes were designed for trading and this makes it a win-win solution for all parties. The oil industries gain from its offsets, investment markets gain from its prospects, environmental groups gain from its endowments and government earn revenue from taxing its incomes (capital gains).

Its too simplistic to even suggest that the oil industry is doing that for some altruistic purpose.

Foreign AffairsRe: Act Of War: Iranian "aid" Ships Head For Gaza by NegroNtns(m): 10:13pm On Jun 17, 2010
International Maritime Laws forbid any nation to have territorial control over waters outside of the boundary of its sovereignty. In the case of these interceptions on the sea, Israel is raiding waters outside of its sovereignty. The action is not at all different, in the eye of the law, with the acts of Somali pirates.

I agree that Israel has the responsibility and the legitimate right to protect its land and people from the onslaught of Hamas, but if it has not succeeded with that in the decades they have fought one another over land, then I doubt that seizure of boats and killing of citizens of other countries in international waters will achieve a desirable admiration and sympathy from those calling for a peaceful end to the war.

The problem is not Israel. . .rather, it is the immaturity of their President Netanyahu. The man believes in his soul that he is an American and as such is covered by the over-reaching protective laws of America for its citizens. He sees Israel as an auxilliary state of US. His condescension is what makes it hard for American Presidents to warm up to him. He was Isreal's leader during Clinton Presidency and that administration related to him at a distance. He is again in power and Obama White House has distanced itself from him also. Israel is okay the Jews but Netanyahu is not. . .he will lead them into another holocaust the way he is managing international relations from Tel Aviv.
Foreign AffairsRe: Bp Oil Spill: America Going Too Far? by NegroNtns(m): 9:47pm On Jun 17, 2010
Now BP has agreed to commit 20b to escrow and are not paying dividends
The call by White House for an escrow account is a good one but the net needs to be extended beyond just BP. There has been many oil spills in past, there are many more in future and the likelihood that they will impact life, property and environment is just as predictable. The order from the White House should be a blanket over the oil industry, mandating that, as a practical matter, each of the big oil corporations immediately set up a "contingency escrow" going forward.

On a different but relevant point, BP is one of the pioneers of Carbon Emissions Trading in Europe and was forefront on the effort to introduce into the US markets. Using the Cap and Trade model put forward couple of months ago by White House, it is easy to see that BP is miles deep in carbon deficits already and the well is still gushing. So how would they recover, where do you think they get the offsets to obtain a market balance?

A new wave of colonialism (terrorism) is about to hit the globe. This time it will be run by corporations subsidising one market with the output forcibly sustained in another.
Foreign AffairsRe: Bp Oil Spill: America Going Too Far? by NegroNtns(m): 9:22pm On Jun 12, 2010
@POST,

Joey, to answer some of the questions you asked in the opening regarding the above board criticism of BP by American leaders, I want to say that it is all done in "self-glory".  There are two influencing factors in their comments: (1) elections and (2) patriotism.  American psyche generally is about heroism.

On the elections factor, as you know, expect the politicians to romanticise public sentiments for political credits and capital.

On the patriotic front, this tongue lash is nothing more than an exhibition for the media.  By throwing the "foreign" label of BP out there is in a way suggesting sovereign control to imply that the company is subversive and accountable to American law. This commentary by the Senator is on the menu for public consumption only. . . in other words, a pacifier of sorts. This action is necessary as a response to the growing concern that the separation between government and corporation is to thin for comfort (the issue of lobbyists should come to mind) and that we live in an environment of "corporations gone wild".

Behind the scene and in negotiations between the two sovereigns, this does not even come close to hurting relations, much more any need to penalize BP on account of its "origin".

The proposal to lift the ceiling on damage liability and compensation, if passed, will only be applied going forward and not retroactively to affect BP on this incident.  I do believe that BP, in addition to meeting the legal requirements as it stands, will voluntarily install measures to repair its public image.

The moral of the lesson should be for Nigeria.  The Nigerian Government should sponsor an initiative to tie the ongoing complaints of the "People of the Delta" to that of the "People of the Gulf Coast".  The incidents are not the same but the impacts are symmetrical.

Foreign AffairsRe: Is African Unity Necessary For The Total Liberation Of Black Africa? by NegroNtns(m): 11:05pm On Feb 02, 2010
Much as one can argue that the ‘ancients’ in the different cultures of mankind where in some ways ‘repositories of wisdom’, a lot of the stuff that they espoused-truth be told-were based on ignorance.  So I don’t quite agree with you that our ‘redemption’ lies in the beliefs that our forefathers practiced.
Human consciousness is bound to time. If time cease our reality will cease with it.

500 yrs into the future that generation will look at back 2010 and condemn our ignorance and rudimentary knowledge of cyber. That's what time does to our memory. It inclines us to look back and disprove how things were done and challenges us to make it better. This is how mankind evolves - thank God for time!

There is another aspect of humanity that is not affected in the manner that time affect us and that is the unconsciousness of our being.

You can connect the brotherhood of mankind using a timeline marker (consciouss) but you can also connect our brotherhood using a cosmic awareness (unconscious).

There is a spirituality link which compels a man living in Russia to have a replica awareness of creativity and nature as a man living in Central Africa. . .and the two do not know one another or have a line of physical connection linking communinaction between the two. Their link is invincible and is managed in a mysterious way that we need not go into here.

That cosmic awareness is ever present and unlike reality, it does not run on time.

I don't know about yours, but in my observation and experience all the inputs that make a progressive and developed society in contemporary terms can be given attributes under four headings -

1. productivity
2. efficiency
3. effectiveness
4. attainment

In each the requirements demand a sense of timeliness; relativity; judgement, inspection and sustainability.

Repeatedly, other races exhibit these senses and attributes in their social order. All of Black societies, whether Africans, Carribean-Africans, European-Africcans or African-Americans, without exception, reject these disciplines and so that when examined under the requirements we are found to be socially disorderly or non-conforming.

African-Americans are separated from Africans and have existed for generatios in socially orderly envirnmennnt and are highly educated with a sharp awareness of the realities sorrounding them but yet find it unadaptable to their nature and so respond reluctantly to the demands of progress. It is not ignorance. . .its something else.

Even in separation, there is an invisible link that connect all children of Africa in their spirit. Through this link there are aspects of our nature which come forth to the surface and manifest itself. In Arts, we excel. . .far better than any other race on the planet.

Western society has created a prejudice around the globe that views our art with suspicion. At par, European art will lose against African art. So their need to expand power, dominance and influence has done damage to what is the single most effective way for us to influence global politics and social orderliness. They used the instruments of academia and ideology to project their art as a high order of humanity and African art as a base form of humanity, expressing the animal in man! Immersed in our social order, the European, under study, will exhibit responses similar to that seen in an African American. . .reckless, unassimilative and unresponsive to the beats and inspiration of nature.
Each to its own! In the laws of comparative advantage, you take to market that which gives you best advantage at minimum risk of effort to the output of those others you meet in the market. Through that understanding, that which you wanted but could not produce will be available for you at the market via the advantageous output of one best for crafting such item. Theefore your productivity, effectiveness, efficiency, attainment is rewarded in the resulting negotiations and treaties that ressult in the marketplace.

This is orderliness, progress and growth. We, Africa, by instituting our philosophies into the curriculum of our academics will develop scholarships and create "thoughts" different from that of Socrates, Archimedes and the likes. . .but nonetheless operating at par level or better but through which the creativity of our indigeneity and nature is called forth and our inspirations are manifested.

Some will argue that my position is discrediting the African's ability to excel in science. No. For those who truly unnderstand the connection, Art is the mother of Science. Art can exist without Science but not the other way around. The rest of the world need Africa. . .or they will perish.

I wached Andrew Young's presentation last night on a series called "What's wrong with Nigeria?". In the documentary, Bunmi Saraki, Governor of Kwara is said to have brought in Whites exiling from Zimbabwe and ave them every incentives including acres of land to farm and produce milk. The exiles, calling themselves refugees, did not invest anything. . .their only expectation is to generate agricultural yields and dairy. Saraki is educated in Western education but not in African philosophy or he would not have done such an abominable commitment. With our education are we moving forward or backward in our global understanding of the laws of comparative advantage?

So when you say the greaest disadvantage we have is ignorance. . .I must ask you, ignoramce in what? One who is adequately educated and excelled as we are, and particularly those who lead us, cannot be said to have ignorance of social order. . .so to speak. However, if he is not properly connected in his spirit to the cosmic force that guide his creativity, then all the education and higher degrees exist in titles only and does him or his flock any good. Aspiring to acquire more scholarship without first repairing that link will not in anyway redeem his ignorance.

So how do we redeem him?

Beneli, I hope my answer adressed both of your concerns.

Morpheus, I can pre-empt what you are ccoming back with lol! I look forward to the knowledge sharing.

Beneli,

I like your analysis and conclusion on the author's view.

In response to your questions

1. just because Africa did not have a textual accounts of our history should not be taken to mean, as settling Europeans claimed, that we had no knowledge of a global existence. Africans had a philosophy much more developed than the philosophy of those who conquered us. All human philosophies, whatever the racial type, was built upon divine principles.

The divine principles evolved into astronomy. From astronomy we evolved into personifaction of celestial and terrestrial bodies - deity worship. Then we evolved into religions.

There is no record of human abuse and persecution prior to religion. So religion became the first point in human history when the propagation of belief system also started a power struggle to dominate and rule.

For most part of that period, Africa remained in deity worship. This account is chronicled in Torah where Moses was decreed to lead His people out of Egypt so the destruction of their city and King will not touch the tribes. It is also in Bible where it is said that Christians fearing persecution from Rome escaped into Egypt for security. Qur'an also gave extensive account of a need to wage war against idol woshippers who continue in the practice of their fore fathers.

In the onset of Judaism, idolaters fought against the new belief. In the onset of Christianity, Judaism became suspicious and fought against its spread. In the onset of Islam, Christianity was suspicious and fought against a new belief system. The powers already acquired by each faction was never give up but used for more power and territorial domination. Meanwhile Africa remained isolated from the struggles and continued in the practice of the fore fathers. . .until the Arabs came with Islam and then followed by Christian Europe.

It should not therefore surprise that Western education is a hybrid of European and Arabian evolution from astronomy into the physical sciences. I don't know if you have but in case not, I would love for you to read "The Chemical History of a Candle" by the famous scientist Michael Faraday.

His narrations sound more esoteric than scientific and its hard to tell if he was not himself one of the priests in ancient Egypt.

The aspirations for more power to control and supervise the lives of other people outside of their belief system urged Europeans to seek better means for faster outcomes and as the results of these ambitions produced rewards then they developed a guild for recruiting people with inquisitive minds and persuasions to devote mind and resource into bulding social and political eminence. This was the beginning of western academy. From guild to what we now call schools.

Education has always been a birthright of every human even before the beginning of religion but western academy became a privilege.

In our age, we are witnessing the transition point into a new belief system. Cyber! The interconnectivity of ideologies existing as an open source database for creativity, identity, belonging, liberty, security and fulfillment. As it is in past, so it is now. Nations suspicous of the new belief system are reluctant to accept it and so they surveil, ambush and persecute those who practice it.

In all of this, Africa is stll behind. We are behind because the doctrines of deity worship acknowledges that mankind is one brotherhood and so it is counter intuitive and offensive to the spirit to dominate your belief upon another human. Its simple. . .you must not do unto others what you do not want done to you. Isn't that one of the laws in Torah, Bible and Qur'an? So our principal belief system in Africa is endorsed by the scriptures in which the Europeans and the Arabs have found inspiration to evolve their societies.

Not only that, the new age belief system of cyber society subsists on a tecchnological infrastructure built end-to-end in binary formatting. Binary secrets had been in Africa since whenever "Ifa" had existed.

The 256 corpus of Ifa divinity when broken into discrete binaries will result in a full complex or dynamic complex of a two way communication. . .

Faraday bent the scholarship of European guilds into his knowledge of the mystical power of a burning flame and produced science. Al Jibril, an Arab mystic used his knowledge of astronomy to produce mathematical equations known today as algebra.

None of these men were famous for academic excellence or degree but rather for creativity. Europeans come to Africa and study animals and create findings then turn around and teach us the findings. Why couldn't we do the studies. . .the animals are right here in our backyard?

So our philosophies reside in these old beliefs that our fore fathers practiced. Our redemption is in them.

2. I don't know what the product will be but at the core, it should be one that is distinctly African but not a runaway from a global understanding. In other words, it would have interface points between our definitions of social order and that of the western world.

Sam and Negro_nts on the foreign section who think the U.S used an earthquake machine against haiti
blacksta, treat my sayings like you  do "facts"!  make sure anything you attribute to me is correct.

Can you quote where I said US hit Haiti with earthquake?

Is time muslims call themselves devil religion since they like a human blood. Fucck Mohammed for developing terrorist religion.
Ovie, do you know what Europeans called Africans when they set foot on our continent?  They said we are heathens and we kill and eat one another. To save us they brought Christianity and then enslaved us in the name of Jesus.  lmao!

Is it religion that is bad or is it certain humans with demented views?  Jesus is the prophet of God, the Messiah. . .and it will be a blasphemy to attribute the atrocities of European terrorism to Him.  LIkewise, respect Mohammed for his legacy to humanity. . .if you cannot show respect, then don't denigrate Him as you have done.  Doing so does not earn you any fame here.

@post,

Gradually, following the pattern in religious skirmishes in the North, the people have successfully pushed the frontier away from the seat of the "Hausa Bakwai" Emirates and the new boundaries of these conflicts happen to be regions in the North in which Christians are indeed in large population. . .like Jos!

The response to AQIM should be a strategic one.  In the sense that Northern Nigeria should be saddled with a burden that draws its efforts and focus away from religious differences and into economic survival or cultural surival in which standing alone, its vulnerability becomes obvious and exploitable and so is forced to seek securit through a national sense of identity, rather than an Islamic one.
