I doubt that this true. Here is why I said that. We are getting reports of her numerous public appearances at the time when she would have been carrying the baby. She is a public figure, so I am sure there were news reporters around her, so there has to be pictures of those moments, whether in print or on tv. So if this was true, those images would have surfaced from whoever was pushing the claim to substantiate that she lied about being pregnant.

With successive births, is it not true that the physicall signs of pregnancy are less visible to an observer? I am thinking that at the fifth pregnancy, her carriage and handling of her self will be far less sloppy and it will be less thrilling and a focal point for her since it has become routine. So the fact she didnt mention it should not be viewed as evidence that she didnt carry the baby. Right?

I really don't know where to start.

I met one before the other, started dating him, but along the way, we broke up, but we remained friends and I like him a lot. The most amazing thing about him is that He understands me better, He reads me, He knows when am happy or sad or when something is wrong with me, he knows what I like and what I don't like. Yes, it makes sense. However, you need to follow the grain of the relationship. Its okay to make your union known in public but it might not be okay to live your relationship in the public. You and your girl will have to test the waters and see what works for you, then adopt that flow.

Thanks for throwing it into the 4th gear, I have tried to get them to understand that change is intoxicating, in two ways.

1) it is desirable when you have been stagnated and you are looking for a refreshing perspective to bring dynamism; Obama does that in a visionary way.

2) change is not desirable when you have to implement the visions of an idealist leader like Obama because you suddenly discover that executions of these promises will require a wholesale transformations that bear great impacts on personal and national levels and on the ground people are just not ready for what he envisions, as beautiful and inspiring as it sounds to the ear.

His words are beautiful and appeal to the soul but its the beginning of a movement, a challenge to authority that has enmeshed itself in all fabric of American life for more than 200years. How do you turn all that on its head in just 8? Impossible, unattenable, its bogus and people need to discern the truth. The media know it but its defeating to their own agenda to tell it, so they gaud people on with the controversies and fantasies. Then Nigerians bring all those fantasy stories here into Nairaland. It is my opinion that if things are allowed to run their course, we might get back some semblance of normalcy. Two little boys were playing the other day and they fell on top of each other, something so random and normal but if you had seen the way the adults around them yelled at them (the poor boys) you'D think they were doing something else. What these adults have inadvertently done is put the idea that there something wrong about two boys touching each other, this creates a curiosity in the boys  and unfettered curiosity can be very dangerous. I broke out laughing when I saw this one.  No doubt I understand what you are saying and I am sure a lot of other men do too, but I am not sure you are going to get many truthful responses.  I said that because of the language.  In the way this is written, the language is leaning to the homosexual side, even by Nigerian standards.  

Moremi, I attended an all boys boarding school.  When we see the tendencies you just described, either on school grounds or out in town we dont hesitate to issue warning to the parties observed in those clumsy entwines. If they desist they are asking for trouble big time! This is nothing but homosexuality tendencies and they get beaten and harrassed out of the dormitories and the school. The few ones that went through this ended up transferring to another school.

Guys do fraternalize.  It is healthy for gender bonding but it is also a natural instinct in us that happens in stages. It cannot be equated with the manner in which females bond.  If a boy has homosexuality, it will become apparent in the teenage years in the way he expresses emotions and sexuality.  What you described here is homosexuality, not boys fraternity.  

Stage 1:

Boyhood playmate - It starts when the boys are observed hanging together rolling marbles on the pavement, playing ludo on the porch, kicking soccer balls up and down the street or racing against one another with their spoked wheels heading on an errand to the market or the store. When you see them together, one with a catapult hanging from his pocket and the other with pocket full of stones, you can bet pretty soon some animal is going to end up t'e'r'r"o'r.i-zed or dead.  They compete on who can hit target and get a kill. Leave them alone, they are practicing how to hunt and in few years they will need to apply that skill in some other aspect of social interaction.

Stage 2:

Teenage Company - Guy to guy share of interests and secrets. Plans on breaking laws and violating rules are strategized and executed together. Together they lay claim to a territorial boundary and in a designated area within their community, this is the bully zone and other teenagers and their brothers must bow down to authority when in this zone. Their refusal to acknowledge the seemingly political control will be interpreted as a challenge and will lead to a physical confrontation. This is show off time for the girls; a parade of aggression and manhood, power and control. They compete on who can get what girl and lay with her. They appear together at parties.  When they start dating, they pick girls in the neighborhood that are equally close and when you see the guys you see their girls also. This is a transforming stage.

Stage 3:

Manhood stage - More independent, college life and new interests has groomed him for a new outlook on life. Still in touch with friend/s but at a distance. New girlfriend and all into her, she is all that matters and he wants to please her but suspicious of her smothering affections and reluctant to completely bond with her but at the same time doesn't want to lose her, she is good, makes him feel whole and responsible. New interests, new friendships.  Circle of friendships have widened and interaction with them all demand time. New job, new assignments, new acquaintances, gradually loose friends and make new ones. This is the point where the man to man bonding gives way to man to woman bonding.  

Stage 4:

Family - Married and raising family.  Family, Job and community become primary concern. New acquaintances, family friends, lifelong bondings develop. Start to witness in his children the same cycle and stages in life that he has gone through and it becomes intolerable to accept.

HRC has released her delegates to him, she stopped the roll cal and intiated a move for candidate acclamation on the floor, she openly declared her support for him and called on her supporters and the sisterhood movement to line behind him.  Now you are asking for her to defend him against McCain.  Whattt  Before you call on Hillary, what has Obama done to defend himself against McCain since the Palin announcement?  

Look, I used to love DNC when Clinton was President.  DNC today is a mockery.  I am shocked by two recent foolish acts:

1. they allowed Obama to skip Hillary for VP.  Obama is a rookie, Howard Dean should have put his foot down and make a deal that put Obama and Hillary on the team ticket.  All that crap about they dont get along, screw that!, Do they think Bush and Cheney get along?  No, but they tolerate each other.  Do you think if this was RNC facing those options they would allow Obama to make any other choice beside Hillary?  Hell no!  Did you see what they did to McCain on the VP issue?  They dared the gizzard to choose a VP that is pro- choice and pro-same sex marriage.  He was told in unequivocable terms to choose any VP but, a liberal supporting abortion rights and same sex marriage.  RNC has some balls, DNC is poussy and come November they are gonna get fukked!

2. DNC reinstated Michigan and FL to full status for the convention rollcall.  OMG, I cant believe it!  Dean is smoking some hot substance and I hope he is never nominated as a spokeperson for Anti-Drug policies.  He denied them full status during primaries thereby shunting Hillary's count of delegates but then would release them for full status on the conventional rollcall.  What a dumb strategy   He just handed Hillary a weapon.  Either way it goes, whether he wins or not in 08, Dean just eliminated Obama from the 2012 nomination.  Once you set the goalposts you dont move the gaddem thing.

I don't know if we have good chess players here or not.  By his choice, McCain has advanced with the Knight, the Queen and the King are still held back and protected.  

The republican party does not see itself as a party but more as an institution. Underneath the umbrella of that institution there are numerous think tank units like the American Enterprise Institute; American Solutions for Winning the Future; Hoover Institute, Christian Coalition, etc,  Each one of these units is deeply involved in social engineering and when they are all let loose onto the campaign trail, trust me the Democratic party in its integral wholeness is not a match for them; much less when that wholeness is tearing at the seams as we are currently witnessing.  

The DNC got a big one coming.  In hindsight, I am sure Obama is wishing he had chosen HRC.  Remember, Geraldine Ferarro already said she is not voting for Obama.  Geraldine was a candidate in the past, her achievement was acknowledged in Sarah Palin's speech today.  I will not be surprised that Geraldine align herself with Palin and pull behind her millions of *sisterhood of the travelling pantsuits* from the DNC to the RNC.  

As I said in the opening, McCain has advanced his Knight on the board, let's see how Obama will respond.

Notable among them, she could have appeared in a pant-suit, symbolically tying that image back to HRC's famous punch line in her speech two nights before; "the sisterhood of travelling pantsuits". The message would have been quickly picked and circulated by the media, it would soften the existing rift in the party and further enamored HRC's followers and entice them back into the party fold.

At the top of the Obama campaign, too many white staffers that may be very good at outfitting a white woman but not be as effective with a black woman and in their attempt to fit her the best they can, in their own stereotypical understanding of how black women dress, they have done damage. What she had on was the bottom of the chest, the xmas outfit of women in the ghetto. What she need is a trend setting wardrobe that is uniquely designed for her shape and frame, colors to balance against her dark skin, , she is a mother raising young girls, she becomes mother to all young girls in the country therefore moral values will also have to be considered, no show of skin in certain areas - show me your back, no dress above knee level, no figure-hugging tight-fitting dress. During the next two months the public will be watching her and what they hope to see is a First Lady image. This should be her campaign, "that she is the most qualified wife to be in the white house". Some rednecks are already blogging that they hate McCain's non-conservative stance but that they see his wife as a barbie doll image and are comparing her to Jacquelyn Kennedy already; that is a strong statement and a huge endorsement. They hate the husband but, ; hey we will vote for him anyway because the wife make us all look good with her image. Michelle has three women to compete with and if she looses the battle it may cost Barack the white house. America is all about image. She has Cindy McCain, Jill Biden and now Sarah Palin; if her public image is not at par or better than all of these three women then her credibility as a befitting First Lady will be questioned and she may become subject of ridicule.

The image of the First Lady should be a soft and humble one, not a strong independent demeanour. Thats what HRC was and you all see what happened to her. Nobody is questioning Michelle's education and intelligence, thats a given. Her role in the white house is not for academic excellence, it is a ceremonial role. She hosts political leaders, she hosts world leaders, she travel overseas and represent USA on issues affecting family values and development, women rights, children rights, education, culture, etc, Americans need to be proud of her image, if they are not they will put someone in the white house that they believe can give them that pride. She need to transform before the end of September or it could be late. You are not hearing it in the media because they have been slapped for being sexist and racist, she represents those two dimensions and so they dont want to hit nerves that are already raw and open new sores but trust me, ; soon as the late night comedians start ridiculing her, you can bet that the mainstream media will jump on it and retroactively begin to analyse her image critically; particularly her appearance on the night of 08/28/2008 in Invesco field.

I have followed the course of this story and I restrained myself from making any comment, waiting for you to end it before I say anything. I am well pleased that you and your husband are reconciled and he is back home and your family is holding together again. I am sure there are lessons learnt in all of this. There were bottled up resentments waiting to explode, the event on that day acted as the light match that set off the explosion. Many people have already said this.

Your husband is not here, if he was I would share some words of dissapointment with him. You are here. I was shocked and in disbelief when you said you discussed the matter with your ex-boyfriend to get his opinion. You also shared the issue with many other people that should not have been involved. You panicked and lost your footing and I think your roving around bouncing the story to different people and expecting sympathy was the first indication to me that you have lost the ability to manage the situation on your own and you are now depending on others to resolve your matrimonial problem. You are playing with fire! You risked loosing your husband to an ambitious woman looking for husband.

You said you sent him many texts and left voice messages and he did not reply. You also said that you have unimpeded access to the apartment. What stopped you from going in and waiting for him to come back and face him to discuss it? Before electronic communication gadgets there were pen and paper. What stopped you from writing a letter and leaving it for him in the apartment? There are many questions in my mind about the way you handled this issue but in all, I hope you have learnt some lessons from this and know what not to do again. Your marriage is still young and there are many more battles ahead as you bond and loose your individuality towards becoming unified. I wish longevity on your marriage. Good luck!

If I was advising, I will be certain that she has on a dress that will make the cover of fashion mags all over the globe. It will be a dress that will be retired and archived after the event, it shall resurface 20yrs from now on Sotheby's for exhibition and or auction.

I'm telling you, this Lady, much as I respect her strength and accomplishments, she need to create a signature and draw the fashion industry to her side. She is an asset to the campaign and her feminism need to be portrayed in her image.
