You are giving the situation too much power by making a big deal of it. Befriend the woman. Tell your hubby that you don't know what came over you because she is such a nice girl. Befriend her fiancee as well. Maybe they are both nice, wonderful people. wink

^^^ when I read some useless advices(like nekai's) on this forum, I ask myself if the post was posted via the brain or a/n/u/s. It is shocking. Who are their councellor's? They need to stop paying these people, they are scammers.
Perhaps the little wink at the end wasn't enough indication that my response was mostly tongue in cheek.

I stand by the assertion that the OP has blown the situation out of proportion by trying to impose this one month ultimatum on her husband. The issue needs to be settled with face to face communication. It's very possible that her husband could resent her for even telling him not to talk to his ex, pushing him closer to his ex in the first place since they will now have this issue to discuss between them.

If you have solid proof that your husband has crossed the line then deal with it. However if he hasn't crossed the line maybe you should just voice your concerns, telling him to mind his own business so to speak, but also let him know you trust him enough not to do anything that puts your own marriage and home in jeopardy.

FamilyRe: F.q1 - What Will You Do If Your Child Is A "yahoo-yahoo" Person? by Nekai(f): 5:30am On Jun 30, 2011
Exactly why children must be monitored. If my child brings home a single shirt that wasn't bought by either of us, my husband and I will go with him to return it. Simple. I don't know where these parents think their kids get expensive clothing and shoes from.

If this child is an adult living on their own. . . I don't know what I would do.  huh undecided
FamilyRe: Would You Prefer Your Wife To Be A House Wife Or A Working Class Lady? by Nekai(f): 5:24am On Jun 30, 2011
rhamzus:
i was talking with my lil sister yesterday who happens to b going for batch B service. the talk was about what were her plans after service? The only thing that could come out of her mouth was marry a guy, who would let her have a shop near home so she can be a full time house wife.
i was disgusted becos why waste time and money to be educated to university level when she will end up not using the degree than to have babies and stay @ home.
I as a person cant have my wife stay @ home as a full time house wife, then what is the essence of your degree. But @ the same time would not want her to have white collar job which will be time demanding, not having time for her family " i mean career hungry wives".
After the babies are had, there are still many years of left over for the woman to hold gainful employment. A degree is never wasted.

Ideally a man should make enough so that the woman's income is a supplement but not absolutely necessary to keep the family afloat. In other words live mostly within the means of one income. Pregnancy can incapacitate a woman for months if there is a complication that requires full bed rest. Likewise, the husband could suffer an illness that requires him to take substantial time off of work. Both husband and wife should be educated and have the ability to work and have a career.

That being said, your sister stated she wants to work in a shop. That's still employment that will bring in extra income without keeping her away from home for long hours. Maybe she could be a great business woman.

RomanceRe: Why Do Girls Ditch The Good, nice Guys To Go For The Bad Guys Instead? by Nekai(f): 4:41am On Jun 30, 2011
ogus:
Believe it or not, it happens. Many girls are guilty of this thing. They leave a good, nice guy they've been dating for some bad guy that treats them bad and talks harsh to them. Guys, girls, why is it so? is there something the bad guy has to offer them that the good guy doesn't possess? Pls give me your take on this one. huh
The same reason that guys leave those nice 'good girls' for the more interesting and exciting ones instead.
RomanceRe: Man Wants A Baby: So Soon! by Nekai(f): 4:32am On Jun 30, 2011
Don't sell yourself short. You want the record to show that you two made the decision together to get married first.

When will the two of you get married? The day your pregnancy is discovered? The day the doctor confirms the pregnancy? The day the doctor performs the baby's in depth sonogram? The day you give birth to a healthy baby? The day that baby becomes old enough to prove that he/she isn't deaf or blind? The day the baby proves his/her intelligence by graduating high school?

A child isn't a chain that with bind the two of you together forever in a happy stable relationship. Your foundation needs to be deep enough to stand the test of time and adversity. If you both attempt to cement a new relationship this way then the child will suffer in the end. Parenting is stressful enough without the added pressure of trying to force a relationship between two virtual strangers.

If you are prepared for the possibility of ending up a single mum (which very few people have the resources to comfortably pull this off, especially these days when two-parent shared income/expense households are struggling to make ends meet) then I guess you can proceed without caution if you so desire.

smootheb:
It's still a relatively new relationship.
You don't know enough about him or his background to even think about this issue. Please take a step back. Slow down and get to know each other. You are still in the initial stages where everything is new and perfect. For all you know this 'if it happends it happends' attitude came about in the heat of a moment. He was probably not even being serious. If 'it happends' tomorrow he may run like the wind.

MRbrownJAY:
@poster
first of all, let me just say that your statement about "men giving more" is the biggest BS i have read so far today. but then again, here below are some examples of why a woman could say that and would be RIGHT:

- her bf dated her solely to use her family connections to get a better job. when he secured it, he dumped her to be with someone else.

- her bf dated her solely because he was homeless and looking for a place to stay. she had her own place so he moved in, but quickly dumped her when he got back on his feet.

- her bf dated her because she was a akata and he needed her help to get him to his Eldorado. when he got there, he dumped her to date other women.

- her bf dated her solely because of her fortune. when she gave him some money to establish his own business, he dumped her to live a single playboy lifestyle.

- her bf dated her because of her celebrity status. she opened the doors for him to rub shoulders with other celebs. when he finally got close to his intended target, Genevieve, he dumped his gf to be with Genevieve.
It's like you read my mind. I was hesitant to respond based on the fact that simply having XX chromosomes may have been clouding my independant analysis of the issue at hand.

Leg cramps may be a sign of mineral deficiency. Are you still taking your prenatal multivitamins? Most docs recommend taking two daily in your case. If you are still taking them, you may still be suffering from low potassium. A banana or two a day should help boost your potassium levels.

These are normal bacteria that exist on the skin in small amounts. If she has an acute infection I would suggest following your doctors advice. An overgrowth of staph is a serious infection that you both may need to get treated for. Antibiotic therapy is key. The sooner the better.

Dental Health and Teeth Grinding (Bruxism)
Most people probably grind and clench their teeth from time to time. Occasional teeth grinding, medically called bruxism, does not usually cause harm, but when teeth grinding occurs on a regular basis the teeth can be damaged and other oral health complications can arise.

Why Do People Grind Their Teeth?
Although teeth grinding can be caused by stress and anxiety, it often occurs during sleep and is more likely caused by an abnormal bite or missing or crooked teeth.

How Do I Find Out if I Grind My Teeth?
Because grinding often occurs during sleep, most people are unaware that they grind their teeth. However, a dull, constant headache or sore jaw is a telltale symptom of bruxism. Many times people learn that they grind their teeth by their loved one who hears the grinding at night.

If you suspect you may be grinding your teeth, talk to your dentist. He or she can examine your mouth and jaw for signs of bruxism, such as jaw tenderness and abnormalities in your teeth.

Why Is Teeth Grinding Harmful?
In some cases, chronic teeth grinding can result in a fracturing, loosening, or loss of teeth. The chronic grinding may wear their teeth down to stumps. When these events happen, bridges, crowns, root canals, implants, partial dentures, and even complete dentures may be needed.

Not only can severe grinding damage teeth and result in tooth loss, it can also affect your jaws, result in hearing loss, cause or worsen TMD/TMJ, and even change the appearance of your face.

What Can I Do to Stop Grinding My Teeth?
Your dentist can fit you with a mouth guard to protect your teeth from grinding during sleep.

If stress is causing you to grind your teeth, ask your doctor or dentist about options to reduce your stress. Attending stress counseling, starting an exercise program, seeing a physical therapist, or obtaining a prescription for muscle relaxants are among some of the options that may be offered.

Other tips to help you stop teeth grinding include:

Avoid or cut back on foods and drinks that contain caffeine, such as colas, chocolate, and coffee.

Avoid alcohol. Grinding tends to intensify after alcohol consumption.
Do not chew on pencils or pens or anything that is not food. Avoid chewing gum as it allows your jaw muscles to get more used to clenching and makes you more likely to grind your teeth.
Train yourself not to clench or grind your teeth. If you notice that you clench or grind during the day, position the tip of your tongue between your teeth. This practice trains your jaw muscles to relax.
Relax your jaw muscles at night by holding a warm washcloth against your cheek in front of your earlobe.

FamilyRe: Is It True That Ladies From Broken Homes Are Not A Good Wife Material? by Nekai(f): 5:48am On Jun 29, 2011
There are no shortcuts to finding good wife/husband material.

Someone from a broken home may be more likely to run at the sign of trouble.
Someone from a broken home may be more likely to stick it out because they don't want their children to suffer.

Someone from a stable home may be more likely to stick it out in times of trouble.
Someone from a stable home may be more likely to run because they don't understand the impact it may have on their children.

You have to study the person. Their words, personal beliefs, actions, reactions, friends, ect. And just pray that you are being guided in the right direction.

any man who considers ALL women as chicken "brain" is a fool BUT we can all confirm that there are few of these women out there.

poster, what you have to understand is that not all men do what you claim and the same goes for the chicken "brain" women. there are strong men/women out there and there are some weak ones. why would you judge the weak ones and believe that we're all like that?

as for going down on a woman, its called giving pleasure and has nothing to do with being weak.

now if you meant what is commonly known in the street as CHICKENHEAD then thats a different ball game as it has nothing to do with the subject.
