Am a Medical Lab Scientist by profession but wish to

the two options I have in Lagos are (1) Center for
Ultrasound Research
and Education C.U.R.E. Lagos in LUTH and (2). The
one run by Radiography institute ( which they say is
for their members only). So am considering going to
Center for Ultrasound Research
and Education C.U.R.E. For the program but I need
opinions and advises on the quality of graduates
produced by Center for Ultrasound Research
and Education C.U.R.E. and approval to practice
from people who might have insight knowledge of
sonography in Nigeria.

Yes, from experience most good stock fall to their lowest price between December and january...probably offloading by investors to meet their xmas needs.....bt from february and beyond when declarations start coming from companies..... Northwards movt begins.......morning pals

mercylicious: You don't have to wait for it to lose by monday b4 u queue in on tues. Place ur order on monday with the price limit u want.
That's the mistake a lot of us make. We wait to see the share price close at the price we want and make other the next day. As u have seen it, others have seen it also and u might not get the stock at that price on tues. Its better that u queue in so that anytime it gets to ur price limit, ur broker loads it up for u, even if it takes a month to get to ur price limit.
That's exactly wat my broker does. He bought ubcap @ 1.10 and placed a price limit of 1.40 the next day.it took abt a month or so for it to get there, it was sold at 1.44. Ppl like use jumped into the mkt d next day to sell, having seen the previous day's close, it fell to 1.35 k, since then e neva reach 1.40 again.

My dear, A̶̲̥̅♏ not ignorant of that.......price limit in d stock broking firm I use is a bluff. They hv disappointed me twice on that...I even threatened to take d issue to court. All d same....is well. I only shared my thots. Make una hv a nice, pals

Yea, nice one....... Just queued in last week @ 70k. Speculations hv it that there is bonus offer in view 4 NEM. Though NEM hv some discrepancies in their results...they r settling it out with NAICOM.....after which d result rolls out (this october hopefully). I pray it comes appetising...
@ mercylicious....having a year high of N1.04 and low of 50k...I think a fair price 4 NEM is 60k to 70k. But nt too late to key in though...cos it might hit 90k. & above if d results comes good

Greetings Pals, at N1.40 of Ubcap, do u think is time to sell off aft making 15% gain before it start re-tracing back. Ubcap have a year high of N1.78 and year low of N1.02.......pls your suggestions are needed.

Cashcraft (my stockbroking firm), don learn bad thing, whenever I place order for buy, they will buy for at d highest price d stock rose up to that day not even d closing price. Then if I place order for sale, they will sell at d lowest price @ which d stock went down to.....I hv noticed this in 3 of my transaction concurrently, I think I want out... So pals need suggestions of good stockbroking firm u have tested and trust in that hv interest of investors at heart, also that have online platform where u can place mandate of buy or sell. Toluway: Pls stockbull, I wanted to fill the mandate forms in meristem for my Bonuses and dividends but the firm told me I should pay #1, 000 per Registrar. I have not been paying anything tor this before at other brokers. They used to simply send me the forms to fill. What is happening in meristem?

@ toluway, pls visit d websites of those registrars handling d stocks u hv, u can download e-bonus and e-dividend forms from there, fill d forms, d part that needs ur bank or stockbroker endorsement, take it to them (bank or stockbroker), after that, go to post office and post it as normal mail to the registrar's head office (s) as d case maybe. That's how I hv been doing mine. Goodluck

Pls pal there is an issue I have been thinking on what to do on it.....I had UBA stock sometime in d past b4 this there holdco or subsidiary split issue came up, so my stock was divided into 4 parts...Ubcap, afripud, Uba and afriland properties. Then ubcap, afripud and uba was credited to my cscs immediately upon d division, then a certificate was sent to me as regards to afriland properties. Within d period b4 this divisions, uba board give dates in which these stocks will b quoted on d floor of NSE (which they were actually quoted on those dates as announced) apart from afriland property; which they only said to further notice (up till now, d coy is yet to be quoted). Now d last time I read about dematerialization of certificates, I remember it was tag on 30th june 2013, as there deadline and obviously I can't go for verification of a certificate of a coy that is not quoted NSE....so house what do I do....I wait for suggestions and ans...

jposuagwu: Why is Redoil so alarmist? He came across a research recommendation on Okomu which recommended HOLD on Okomu and he raised his alarmist post and asked people to offload Okomu. Does he know the meaning of HOLD? Hold does not mean sell. It means dont sell because the stock has serious fundamentals and will bounce back. Again he claims to have gone to the facility of Okomu and according to him, what he saw Okomu is small in size compared to Presco. This is false information. How can he go to just one site or facility and conclude. If Okomu is small as claimed by Redoil, all the research done on Okomu and Presco should have revealed this. Institutional investors and researchers who have visited factories of these two coys and they say Okomu is bigger by far than Presco in palm production not to talk of rubber production. Infact the question should be - does Redoil have the capacity to tour the factories and agricultural sites of both companies? The answer is no. Redoil should stop exhibiting his ignorance here and thereby deceiving other people. Analyst like Ugodre recommends Okomu highly as a good buy any day. So who is Redoil to say otherwise. The other day, Redoil was wondering why Okomu's price was reduced to half after mark down. And he concluded it was because the profit declared by Okomu was paper profit thats why the price came down to half. Is it a person with such ignorance that should be speaking about stock and deceiving others? Those who dont know should try to learn before giving ignorant opinion. For people who know next to nothing to come here and pose as if they know anything, its unfortunate. For the records, Okomu is the biggest CPO producer quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Ask anybody in Presco, they will tell you they are competing and trying to catch up with Okomu. Okomu remains a good buy for any value investor. Apart from GTB Okomu has very transparent management and its a well run company.

. In my opinion is a good stock to have and I advice anyone that hv it to HOLD. The stock was marked down because of d dividend and bonus declared by d company, it is a normal practice. Good day pals
