Though we are yet to receive any email containing the interview details as in date and venue. A frnd said I shld mail Kcc for inquires and another said they will send d interview stuff via courier, so am confused and time is ticking. May be after 13th of nxt month when u qualify to get these goodies, u can sell ur shares and still hv u bonus units on ur name.......think abt it

brother, any stockbroker demanding above 2% from u as commission, be it to buy or sell is a jobber. I use cashcraft asset management, they take 1.8% for buy and 2% for sell. So pls visit their website to find their office near u. Remain bless

One d news I stumbled on proshareng yesterday was d merger btw flourmills and cadbury and it has been approved by SEC. So, what do guys think, bearing it in mind that Bagco just merged wit flourmills recently (though bagco was a subsidiary of flourmill ), coz I think if d merger goes thru they r going to b d gaints in food industry sector, M̶̲̥̣̣̥̅γ̲̣̣̥ prayer nw is for d share reconstruction btw d two to b favorable...lol

Pls friends, I was going thru d price list this evening, only to notice d high nos of demand on skye bank, 2181 people went for skye bank, I feel something good smell on this bank.....I believe that b4 any cooperate action or pronouncement some people know what d game will b like...or alternatively speculation can drive demand and demand in turn brings in northward movt of price. Uacn recently increased their stake in livestock to 51%, so is a sign of good things to come. I guess livestock is healthy

The only info I hv on livestock is that Uacn increased their stake in d company to 51% recently......so I think d company has good prospect.

Sumone plz confirm this. If they release a bad result, all the banking share price will plumet. Guys please investigate further. This is for the benefit of those dt have banking shares.

This serious coz am planning on buying huge volume by monday, plz any inside info abt access bank 1st Qtr result will b appreciated. Also I got info on sterling thru a pal, that their result is ok, probably they will break d jinx of N3 limit as it may hit N4 when their result comes out (nt verified oh). Finally, anybody with info on any good financial sector stock(s) recommendations......happ weekend

frond: This oando stock is voodoo investment. Any company that goes to the market to raise twice as much as its current working capital/assets will gamble the money. The capital raised has not been tested, then how do you price or value freshly raised capital. This is just as if the company is starting business afresh. I wonder what are the people buying in oando shares. This was what led to the failure of our Banks: raised money from shareholders, gambled with the money because they didn't know what to do with and falsely assured by our central governor that all was well with our banks. If you have to buy the stock it should be for very very short time. For me I am out, I have learnt my lesson.

Greetings my friends, it has been a while now. For me Oando is a stock to watch, I see it hit N25 b4 month end. For those of us that took my advice earlier when it was N13 and then their right issue were on, just monitor it, on the 1st lost, better off load cos that's my plan. But if u r in love wit d stock, still hang on.......finally, 4 those arguing that oando is dead stock, I knw experience hv though u lesson. TIP: once a company is on IPO and OPO or right issue, evalute d company if is under valued at primary market (NSE), just take position cos after the offer, there will b upwards movt of price B4 d newly offered units r absorb sequentially leading to price adjustment...

Good evening brothers, it has been awhile since I comment on this our lovely forum. I just want to draw to our attention to vitafoam dividend date qualification was 15 Feb (30kobo). For d talk on oando, I will say buy.... Cos after 20th feb, I foresee its prices shooting up. To me oando is d giant of all domestic and indigenous petroleum company quoted on NSE, with good dividend pay out and bonuses..... Thanks

jamace: My bros, that is my own style o. If I think about how I have missed bulling shares at commencement of bull, for failure of my broker to get me the shares on time, it gives me headache. So, since the FG has promised to assist FTNCOCOA, I know it will happen soon, I better go and wait there. I have missed opportunities and I dont want to miss this one, when it will take off.

One thing I will like to advise at this point in time is that, we should ignore all those jargons of company X not performing in 2010, 2011 FY result, because if we are to follow that only very few stocks merit investment, stocks like NESTLE, NB, TOTAL and a few others. But do you have the financial muscles to buy those now? Me I don't o.

Finally, let me say this. From 2008 to late 2012 we all know that most stocks on the NSE suffered under-performance. But this 2013 is the era of commencement of BULL MARKET. Therefore previous under-performance should be overlooked. Old things have passed away. Their sins have been forgiven . So, invest now or you will say "had I known" in the nearest future

But I hv taken time to study FTNCOCOA financials performance, omo is on d negative side oooo, if we base on FG promises, is like taking a wide dive into d sea (u knw our govt nawa).Unless u give it time to see promises put to actions, then u can proceed (that my opinion). Execution of buy or sell is 1-2 days max. Payment of sales is T + 3 days.

My attention have been drawn to d difficulties some of my friends here on dis forum is having with there brokers as regards to untimely buying or selling of stock orders....... Let me introduce u to d broking firm I use " CASHCRAFT". One thing of essence in life is time, cashcraft works with time, am not a staff of d company and neither am I promoting them for gains. Once u open an acct wit them (cscs), request for online account activation with d inhouse number they will give u. NOTE: make sure ur email, bank acct and all details abt u, u gave is 100% correct, pls. Once ur online acct is activated, they will send ur password to ur email, which u can change at will. U can view ur portfolio online, trade online (placing buy and sell orders online) and other useful statistics abt ur stock. Visit www.cashcraft.com for other info....... Finally, there may be other firms that render d above services too, but am talking of what I hv tested, done and seen. Goodluck friends

jamace: My own style is to look for sleeping giants and pick them while they are still sleeping.

With the market makers on the NSE, in which shares can gain up to 10% in a trading day, it is glaringly more difficult for me to jump EARLY into a moving stock, because I am not a stockbroker. I hate picking a stock at the commencement of bull and my broker will tell me it is not available or that he can't get it. By experience, I have known that TIMING is very important in getting a stock and "rushing" has not favoured me.

So, I will rather wait inside the bus and move with it any time it is moving than try to jump unto an already moving bus.

How I wish I were a broker, trading for myself.

That's my style too...locate d sleeping giant, get in d bus and ride with it..what a fertile NSE. I Mentioned a stock in oil sector, guys wan chop me like tuwo shinkafa....based on what I call speculations.... All my guys using EPS as part of their tech analysis, is it working, d ans is NO. Better start using fundamental analysis 4 now, cos d market d vex.A word is enough 4 d wise! OANDO on point
