The airline aren't picking calls. I think it's human error from her side that she couldn't locate the proper terminal somewhat.

Unrelated post but I need assistance to locate my mum stranded in Egypt airport. Her destination is Canada but she got stranded at Egypt airport during stopover and missed her connecting flight. Her phone is off now but she said the officials were speaking Arabic and weren't of help when asked to give them phone. I've contacted Nigerian embassy and the Egypt air and await response but need more ideas and assistance in locating her since she would still be within the airport as she can't clear immigration.

Contact the airline first. if she missed the flight due to delays from the first flight, they will book her into the next available flight or a different flight operated by another carrier as long as the first and second leg are operated by the same airline.

If her documents have irregularities and they refused her on the next flight, they'll probably fly her back to Lagos on their next available flight.

I missed my flight in January and it cost me an additional 1.3M for a family of 5 and the next available flight was 3 days later.

Good luck locating her.

We measured 550sqm for the roofing, he went ahead and give the job to one of his inlaw he bought 600sqm
Now the inlaw get back to him that the 600sqm not enough to finish the project

What if he has been helping that inlaw in one way or the other before now? Will he still be justified to inflate a 550sqm roof to 800sqm? I recently helped my inlaws to open borehole, among other things. So tomorrow, if i send one of them to get something for me, he will inflate the price because "nobody wants to waste his time handling a project without making a dime"? We shouldn't be normalizing these kind of things.

He inflated from 550 to 600 and i mean his not greedy. My friend did his borehole this year for 1.2M in Ajah, what will you call that? What am saying is this things happens far more than it doent especially when you dont live in the country. You just have to pay that diaspora fee.

If you ask me the inlaw isnt a greedy one. If u like give your project to a Daddy GO they will still make something out of it. You think anybody want to waste their time handling a project without even making a dime? The problematic project manager is the one that will tell you the measurement was 800 square meter. I see things like this and most times i look the other way as long as the figure isnt crazy.

Nero what state are you located that you are paying $58 electric bill? That could only be if you did not run AC at all. I am in NY/NJ area and I pay as much as sonnie10 stated. My cooker, boiler and dryer run on gas while AC, refrigerator, freezer and other appliances run on electricity. I can't remember the last time my electricity bill is under $100 not even in the dead of winter.

I live in the Chicago area with the same type of cold weather u will find in Canada and when its very cold i still pay like $150 the most. Am not sure what type on insulations and electrical gadgets installed in your homes. It could also be beacuse my house is not up to 10 years old with energy saving appliances or because i make sure my household turn-off what they dont use while at home. See picture below for last paid bill and upcoming bill circle ending soon.

The design is good and the microwaves dont go bad but yes the bottom can be greasy after many years of usage and the bottom also have light equipped so u can see your cooking clearly. My design is different from Sonnie10 but still have the extraction duck buried in the wall. Maybe because i have a newer built and updated appliances.

The technology works and i wish i can do same in Nigeria but unfortunately i bought a microvawe, Range and refrigerator today without finding anything like that.

There are two separate central a/c units that is why. There is gas as well for cooking.

My last bill was $58 and the only appliance that uses gas is the range. This is a family home with Basement, main floor, upper level and attached garage. I will go solar if i pay as much as you do.

Energy prices especially have really gone up. Petrol use to be $1. 90 but now it’s above $3 per gallon.
Electricity bill has almost doubled., if you live in a single family house here and pay less than $350 a month, that is cheap. Raise in home value has impacted tax amount. Even groceries have gone up, in most instances 20- 30%.
All these take big chunks off savings.

Thats too much for electricity except you run all your appliances on electricity and live in the north pole.
