The problem I see here is not the broken or glued appliance, the problem is how you handled the situation and your customer. Whatever he said will not fall on you as long as your are genuine. When u described him as Mr..... "Or whatever he called himself" shouldn't be your best choice of word when describing a customer no matter the situation. I would always apologize to buy customers irrespective of who is at fault, then work together in solving the problem. I see this everyday in my line of work and am sure I will see it tomorrow when I resume for work but knowing how to resolve it is the real deal.

If you are building your house to live in yourself, you can tile only wet areas.
But if u are building for renting, oga, just tile every where else u will use all the rent the tenant paid to carry out renovation after he/she has gone. Some tenants are pigs in human shape.

What exactly will a landlord be renovating? It's better to paint the walls all over in the kitchen than replacing broken tiles... A pig that can mess up the dry walls can mess up the tiles. For bathroom its OK tilling everything but again it depends on the design and size of the bathroom.

I used more than 5M for 4 boards on a land very close to waterlogged but again this is a house with 6 flasts up and down. They size of the house matters.

Like I said before, people do have lawns like this in Nigeria but they are not average Nigerians it is expensive to maintain..

Even in L.A, anyone that could afford a house like this can afford to pay someone to manicure the lawns for them.

It is a beautiful concept, magnificent but it takes a lot of work and could add extra maintenance cost to a homeowner which average Nigeria might not be able to keep up with..

Mowing lawn is very easily, as a matter of fact most people do it themself. The only problem is, we are waiting for someone to start it first. Nigerian weather is green friendly and during dry season u can jse electric sprinklers or use the locally made shower kettle to water the lawn.

When am build my personal home it's definitely going to be mostly green.

This is where I would like to challenge the proponents of some major brand names to a similar test.
We actually stained the paint with black oil, sand and water twice and washed it thrice.
Twice with foam and soapy water and once with a coarse sack. You would hear the high scratching sound of the sack and it stayed put.

Nigerians don't put cost into consideration, they just go with the crowd.... Western world don't worry themselves with POP, Parapet, wall edges, pillars, tiling kitchen from floor to ceiling and so many addons that makes building a house more expensive. I'm not a plumber. I'm a homeowner. It is a common mistake of some builders leading to problems in future in majority of sites. The solution is very simple. Get a local bricklayer to make the tank soak away waste water from the sides of the tank NOT the bottom. Seal the bottom.

I will do just that, mine is full to the brim.

It is not clear how you built the system but I can guess the soakaway is not soaking away water. It is just a storage tank. At the base the water will not soak away faster than it is filled by the household water use because the base will be blocked by settled effluent/sludge but funny enough, ground water especially during rainy season can collect into the tank.

The solution is simple. You need to make the tank soak away water from the sides and not the base. So empty the tanks, crack the sides and place pipes (bevel the pipes) so the pipes are facing upwards. Do this from the middle of the tank and a bit nearer to the top of the tank. See attached photo. Sorry, I can't find clear photos.

Don't forget to cement the base. Leaving the base not cemented is useless for the intended purpose. All it does is let in rain water into the tank.

Remember she once said she's on site always, that means she doesn't go to some form of work or business. It's very possible to minimize theft as long as she is always there b4 and after all work is done for the day.

However 95% of everybody working on site are readily available to rip the owner off and that include the suppliers.

She also said she has built before, I don't think she is a first time novice. Do not underestimate women, they are very very smart, that's why u can't catch them cheating.

A friend told me of a girl who had an asthma attack and nearly died because she didn't have her drugs with her and no one wanted to help her.

I had the same experience too after having cough for more than 2 weeks and what I thought was shortness of breath, couple with taking lemon that gave me a heart burn effect.

I had to call 911 and I was told they can't come right away "stay home and watch urself" and I called my hospital they said they don't take covid 19 patients. I Googled for covid 19 hospitals and luckly found one that asked me to come in.

They took sample from my nose and checked me with oximeter to see if my lungs was short of breath but I was surprised I was breathing 100% despite I tot I was experiencing shortness of breath.

2 days later the test came back negative but I had to watch my self again for another 14 days because the hospital had so many suspected and confirmed covid 19 patients.. This is just a scarry time that is playing ludo with our minds.
