Hello everyone, I am about to apply for a student visa. The school is covering all living and tuition expenses, and this is reflected on the I-20. However, my uncle here in Nigeria is giving me a bank statement to indicate sponsorship of relocation costs (air travel etc). My question is, do I need to have the I-134 (affidavit of support) filled, or will a simple letter from him be sufficient evidence? (NB - My uncle is a Nigerian resident here in Nigeria).

Is there like a line which can only be passed by those who have an appointment scheduled. Is it possible for someone to arrive on time and not be able to enter because of the crowd there?

You should still go with your private supporting financial documents.With this you prove you are able to fund your education if funding from school stops.Fundings from school is always based on funds availability and might be withdrawn anytime if some conditions are not meant.

Is NYSC completion mandatory for students going for graduate degrees?Does it affect the granting of the visa in any way?

silly fools.  So Fashola built a roadway and bravo he is a performing Gov. Our people are just plain mugu. They get easily carried away over nothing.  Other past govs have built bigger and better projects.  Johnson constructed the Bagagry express road and the ikorodu road and falomo bridge.  Jakande built the Lekki road, isolo fly over bridge, yaba fly over, thousands of low cost housing units, LASU etc.  Mudashiru built housing units, ikorodu road, abeokuta motor road etc, Marwa built jakande road, agidingbi road, the house of assembly complex etc. Tinubu built agege motor rd, itire road, ikotun-igando rd etc.  

So what's the big deal with this bridge.  Another media blitz to deceive the people.  This certainly will not make us forget Fashola's corruption allegations.  He should face the charges and Lagosians are more interested in knowing the truth

Well, i had my interview in Abuja, got there like half 6,
We werent let in till a few minutes to 8am, so, we had to wait a while, I was like the 20th person, i was nervous but confident,
Anyway,i was let in there were 3 interviewers, all male, 1 very nice guy , 1 moderate, 1 extremely mean dude(this guy was shouting at the top of his voice at several applicants and even threatened to have a lady thrown out),
Anyway it was my turn, i was about going to the nastiest guys cubicle(at this point i was worried but then i thought, all the more glory for GOD, if it had to be him)
Anyway just as i was about heading to his cubicle, a spot freed up and the nice guy quickly dismissed a fellow b4 me, and then it was my turn, )

ME:Goodmorning, ?(he doesnt hear), i say it again as loud as i can ,
Consular:Goodmorning, documents passports and i 20 please
ME;I PASS THEM ALONG
he puses, types a few stuff on his computer
