@remii are u sure d PFA's lost 50% cos ders a law limiting d %age dey can invest in stocks |
Sorry, i mistakenly created a new thread instead of replying, :-( |
@ajanlekoko i think u shld edit ur post, its not really best practices to post email addresses on forums with the '@'. scammers use whats called an email xtractor(i thnk) to search the web for email addys and forums are usually a goldmine for them. Its better to use '{at}' or somethng. |
deluge torrents is supposed to be able to encrypt its traffic so your ISP wont know your using torrents simply by monitoring the type of traffic you carry. . .best of luck sha! |
@suxes i've been trying to hold myself but i cant any longer, why u dey always put shalom at the end of your posts? |
@Nana if u've never cheated then u cnt talk abt d matter now, |
tkb417:dunno abt d finance market specifically, but in the public sector u hv more access to the ppl that matter, i've seen my parents pull some strings that money can't pull o and its all because of who you've worked with. sometimes money isnt the most important thing. esp in a country like naija influence is more important than money, u dont even have to do anything illegal, if you work somewhere like CBN the perks might not manifest in CBN itself. |
while i'm not in the accounts sector, i do know a bit about the public service seeing as my folks have more around 60years experience combined, while the pay may not be mouth watering the truth is that if you're good at what you do(and i mean good not mediocre) the exposure and access you'll get in the public service'll trump what obtains in the private sector anyday, plus CBN and DMO are not federal ministries so the pay'll be better than what civil servants get. you might want to think matters through before moving to abuja though, i live there presently(i dont work there though. . .for now) and the costs esp accomodation et al are not really "user friendly". all the best in making your decisions though |
tkb417:ya think? *fear did not allow me to even try and understand your post sef* |
he should resign and continue watching his football now, *hiss* nonsense and ingredients |
@nethacker as u dey always quick post your email addy for NL i no wan imagine imagine the amount of spam mail u dey get. . .try dey use (at) instead of @ now. . . |
i think dopdf is the best, it installs as a printer that outputs pdf. . .so its not only word documents you can convert to pdf |
Sagamite:not just nice personality, she has to be smart cos truth is no be personality i dey chop now, the xmins y'all spend 'doing the nasty' is only a fraction of the time y'all will have to spend together. i like girls that can keep up and the truth is keeping up has very lil to do with you bra size!
I hear most of the females saying sex sex sex. . .sexy sexy sexy which is quite . Another thing is, when guys ask for the sex they see, they start to shout "All you guys want is sex". I really don't understand, but then, just as they say, "Be careful for what you wish for. . ."
WORD!Sagamite:you are evil!. . .just wait let all the girls catch you! |
@nethacker thats y i said i think. . .u know how them french words are , i thought traduire meant to prosecute or take to court, oya decode the gist for us now@thread oyewolejos should paste his interview questions here now. . . |
oyb:abeg jo. . .no be yankee them dey, abi you've forgotten that this is naija where you can win a case and the judge will offer you NGN10,000 as damages @all i think there are some torrent clients that can encrypt their data, cant rem the name of the one i used to use sha, |
the thing abt the sex factor is that after *cough* *cough* when you roll over and look at her she wont really interest you that much, but the cuddle factor on the other hand. . . |
nethacker:@suxes good answer and thank you for the good answer my dear, i like/love you. dont listen to him. i suppose you are able to take my words of love to court (well thats the gist of it sha. . .i think he misused the verb traduire though) |
@mrcrackles there's this body called energy commission of naija, you should check them out, u might find some useful info here thats where i'm thinking of working before i leave for an Msc, i woulda done my NYSC there instead of coming to this yeye PHCN to be dulling.things are happening in naija in that your alley o, some ppl on NVS did something sef, if you want i can find the link to it. me i'm more into system planning/analysis @thread my office just awarded contracts for ppl to clear the path under transmission lines, and if this is the way the federal govt awards contracts then its no wonder this country is in a mess all the topshots have their own companies which contracts obviously went to. with all the stuff i've seen here i can start a thread named 'corruption in my office'. |
Plz broda, i am a 400l student of Anambra state uni.,do think going 4 my m.sc programme wil giv me an edge and why? Also wich uni. in Nig. do think is moderate and nt so tough. Also, i hv interest in Communicatn/ computer option even b4 I got d admision, plz wat certificatn course do I nid most 2 get an edge in d labor market. Thks. your intro encouraged me.
first, wrt an Msc you shouldn't be thinking in terms of which university in nigeria is moderate and not so tough(what do u mean by moderate sef?), if you're into communication, then the CCNA route is one of your possible options, or maybe radio(i know in naija there are radio certification exams you can take) but ajanlekoko is the best person for you to talk to. . . as per the masters, the truth is education in naija is nothing to write home about, most of the masters students in my alma matter spent more than 2years on it due to the naija factor, but if you want i could help u find out details sha. Constanz11:your post is rather vague o, you didnt state your interests or anything that'd be of use in helping you think thru a possible course, your not doing so makes it seem like you want ppl to plan your life for you and i'm not sure this thread is the best place for something like that. Wat do u tink dat ll b best 4 me cos i dont want 2 make mistakes in lifethis gives the impression you dont even want to be an engineer, why did you choose to study EE in the first place. what attracted you? what subjects are the most interesting? whats your project topic? those are the things that'll make it easier for ppl to help you think through issues just my two cents @thread right now i'm preparing for GRE and trying to think of where i want to work before i start a postgraduate and trust me. . .it isn't easy! |
tpm:the exam is meant to be taken online |
there seems to be quite a number of engineers in this place(even if most of y'all are chem engineers). . .lol |
@phuck_nl guy u really should calm down, you tend to come across as brash sometimes(remember when you were fighting with most of the ppl on this thread). i've seen a lot of your posts on NL and you seem to state your points in a way that a lot of ppl cld find offensive, you're still young and i dont think its a good habit to develop esp when most of the ppl you relate with seem to be older than you(forget the fact that its NL its still wrong to be rude online or not) granted there are a lot of messed up ppl on NL but you dont have to meet them swear word for swear word, sometimes ignoring ppl that piss u off is the best thing to do, it shows your better than them! P.S. you sef check am now, you know the type of looneys that roam the politics section, so u shouldnt blame the moderators there. |
@mrcrackles what part of the energy sector are u in?(naija wise) @thread its official, bye bye to 6000MW. . .lol, a notice from the union appeared on the notice board saying that govt. has realised they cant achieve the 6000MW and so they're trying to piss of the union so they can find someone to blame, u've just got to love naija! i've just discovered there's actually some hope for naija wrt the power/energy sector there actually seems to be a quite a bit of work going on wrt renewable energy and sturvs(obviously not in PHCN), its long term but at least there are a number of places that actually make use of renewable energy. there's this body called the energy commission of nigeria and they seem pretty good sha, lets see! |
@nethacker guy take it easy now, see as you don dey colonise Plat all the way from naija. . .no let gongo aso catch you o |
Sagamite:i'll close my eyes and chain myself to the chair now. . .come self my definition of cute includes a well arranged attack and defence o! |
Sagamite:for the italicized nobody will call you a liar. . .lol for the bolded na so u no like me reach? i ran my mouth on one thread like this and nellaluv tore into me something fierce (even tho the matter no concern her o) @nellaluv its all good in the hood @all the honeys i've attached my pic below, all interested parties should go to the nearest banks to purchase honey's-love-netotse scratch cards and follow the instructions printed on the reverse. N.B. members of my harem need not apply

i'm really liking the replies here. . .i'll drop my two cents "moving back" might just be the right thing to do in this case, though i'm not sure what exactly it entails, but if you mean that much to him it wont be hard for him to step up his game (i speak from experience), you said he says 'i love you more than you can imagine'? is he the type of guy that would say stuff like that and not mean it? cause for a guy to say that to someone that he's been friends with would take a lot of moxie, the the unbrotherly moves, has he always made them or it started recently? it could just be that the thrill could be part of what drove him to propose have you read 'men are from mars women are from venus'? i think it'd be helpful in your case cause it seems you dont really get the male psyche(there are some excepts, but generally most males are similar in some ways) like guys think "i've told you i love you and if that changes i'll let you know" hence we dont feel the need to say it really often, while women on the other hand. . . on a final note, be careful how you use things like 'moving back' with guys, the first time he'll be terrified and so you'll get whatever you want, the second time he'll be scared but not really terrified but he'll still conceed sha, the third time he'll barely budge, and most times there wont even be a fourth time cos he'll be tired so dont make a habit of threatening to leave if you cant go through with it. |
posakosa:true, but u sha get the gist sha, nigerians are not into PDA's. @post i remember one morning that my sis went to greet my parents early in the morning and they were sleeping and he had his arms around her, trust naija now, she came to wake all of the children up to see "film". i was certain my father was going to hell after that! (that was when i still thought it was wrong to like girls. . .oh the days of lost innocence!) |
@saga y u no wan use "baby-daddy" ? |
Sagamite:thats sooo british! |
like ibime said dont enter electrical engineering if you dont like physics, i just graduated from EE and i can tell you you'll do mostly physics till you finish. play to your strengths, the person telling you statistics was prolly thinking more along the lines of a job in the finance sector, if you like computers you should go for computer science, there are certifications and stuff you can do that'll give you an edge in the labour market! i kow a lot of ppl that are working with B.sc physics, if your result is in the 4.XX range u can even get a masters in EE! |
me i like the cuddly factor o! there's nothing like a girl thats good for a snuggle. |
