Hmmm, country girl. What a stew that'd be. I could sprinkle in some joy and simmer in togetherness. Anyways, let's get it on. |
There's nothing wrong with dating on Facebook. As long as there are people you share common friends with and they can vouch for your person of interest. I've noticed some of the girls who used to have a crush on me in high school or college, or who knew I had a thing for them, immediately they bed me or just before, they change their relationship status to "single" and I just know what's up. I really am not just keen on the eating thing right now, if not, Facebook would have been it. Of course, I also have my stepsisters who since I became single, don't waste a moment after their friends break up to start suggesting them to me as friends. I meet my Facebook friends all the time. And they're all nice, happy and beautiful people. I belong to two Facebook Groups that set up regular get-togethers: TARUWA and SUNDAYS AT THE BAY. Taruwa is a poetry event at the black pearl, every other Tuesday and Sundays at the Bay is mad partying at Tarkwa Bay or Alpha Beach every last sunday of the month. Anyway, that was when I was still living Las Gidi. I actually met the most beautiful thing and we connected, but well, no time. But we still chat and keep in touch. Facebook is a great place to network, not just for business but for everything. |
@na2day? I hope you know when you give someone a fake smile, that is not charity. I'd like you to gimme an example of charity that ain't love so I can be sure you're sure. |
@countrygirl aight, shout out when you come by. @na2day? Are you sure? |
Still Very much available |
Becomerich I hail you O! The solution to everything is somehow linked with Benin Republic. I have told you that we the Edo will join this new Benin Republic arrangement only if the Oba of Benin will be made the supreme leader of the new Republic. By the way, are you saying Guantanamo bay is legal? Then I guess Gbaramatu is legal too cos we clearly heard MEND declare total war on the FG. So it was war. Guantanamo Bay is the most human rights abuse any nation has engaged in besides the Iraqi war. |
I write songs in the RnB/Soul genre. If you need songs to give your album that slow flow or you're writing a hit song for your album and running out of lyrics. Nexbestthing@yahoo.com my songs on Facebook notes: www.Facebook.com/Nejeeb |
I'm a songwriter in the RnB/Soul genre. If y'all need songs for your artistes. Email: nexbestthing@yahoo.com I'm on Facebook too www.Facebook.com/Nejeeb |
Thanks people, you won't believe I wrote it while in traffic. Typing on my phone. Thanks y'all, but watch out for "Farewell Las Gidi". |
BTW dnex=nex My main worry is the level of social life in Benin City. We can't keep waiting for Lagosians to arrange events and the like to make money off us. Back in the day, when international artiste came to Naija it was Lagos, Abuja, Benin and maybe Owerri. Now It's Lagos and Abuja. So we leave to these places just to try to belong. Edo people, we need to chart our own course O! |
Please, let's not politicize this thread. The governor in Edo has been proven beyond reasonable doubt that was unanimously voted by Edo indigenes. I'm sure there's a plan somewhere. Though for now, I see nothing. |
Una dey pity am? Instead make una curse craze commot from 'im head. @poster, thunder strike your gay decaying shaft you use to assault choir boys and rape your fellow mentally deranged men. You do not know that homosexuality is a crime in Nigeria. Your eye go soon neat when you see yourself for crimefighters. Wayward lunatic. |
@Rebarobyn I keep telling Nigerians this but they won't agree. @goldygirl I don't know how expensive it is for an Ibo man to marry a non-Ibo lady, unless he wants to spend lavishly. Marry him all the same, but just make sure there's some kind of pre-nup that says if you get divorced or the marriage is annulled because he has another wife, then every other thing benefitted from the marriage gets annulled too. However, I believe there are a lot of African men who want to marry women from other countries just because It's their desire with no ulterior motive. Again, his age matters. If he's less than 33, I very much doubt that he would have already gotten married. But that he's divorced, I hardly believe. Anyway, I think if you type this in French, I'd understand better. |
@kok you need to read the Holy Books more. It's in there. Thanks anyway. @countrygirl I guess you can't do any charitable deed without willingness, so I agree. There's just a thin line. There're all sorts of African men everywhere too. Some are more European than the people in Europe, some are very deep traditional Africans and there are others in the middle. You'd be surprised that African names, attitudes and looks differ from what we always see on TV. |

Which kain English I come dey speak for my earlier post? Abi all the religious party proponents don pray against my keypad? Imagine Mallam Yusuf running the whole of Borno state, or Reverend King as Lagos state Governor. |
I know that Yar'Adua personally would not come out for second term after seeing how the elections of his first term were. But if he decides not to contest in the 2011 Presidential Elections, then anybody that tries to rig or engage in electoral violence, Boko Haram shall be their portion. Nigeria has done a lot to maintain peace and stability in the West African region, Nigeria has embarked on a mission which will see it single-handedly truncate the Third Term Agenda of the President of Niger. Though I think the more we help others, the more we forget to help ourselves. |
Boko Haram are not Yar'Adua's people O! Unless you're claiming that he's the leader of their sect. |
@bilymuse you want government officials to introduce Tribalism into the whole thing and therefore permit rampaging murderers and arsonists to run down the whole state because of Tribalism, Nepotism and Religious Fanatism? Please stop this ideology now. Those Boko Haram men are not the President's people. |
When we say aid is unconditional, that means there's no if, until or unless about it. There was once a country that wanted to go to war in Iraq so much that they promised Guinea which was a temporary member of the UN security council, $4 billion of aid if it voted for the war. That is not aid. That is bribery. Aid is for you to love a country more and make your relationship stronger as friends or allies, not to bribe, threaten or condition another country. Today, ou see many countries, once they have misunderstandings with another will threaten to cut aid. Then it wasn't aid in the first place, it was a tool of control and enslavement. Aid in itself simply means help. So is help not sincere and unselfish? Abi the "Good Samaritan" had ulterior motives? |
That is the policy they have worked with all over the world. Separating aid from politics and business, separating business from politics. |
Even though It's now a publicly traded company in which many ordinary people have bought shares, as long as Dokpesi remains at the MD/CEO, he's responsible for paying salaries. Because he is the director who has taken up the day to day management of the company, he's is the chief executive officer who executes decisions for the company. He's the head-doer of DAAR, he makes things happen. So if things go wrong he's the man to blame. @MUZBO I can't believe you remember the save-AIT fund, when they were begging us to contribute to keep AIT alive. Whether Dokpesi na my papa, I no know. Whether e go spend the money lavishly for my wedding, I nor know, whether when AIT starts making profit, he'll return my money to me. When I saw the save-AIT advert on newspapers, I realised that this man had no shame and today, when you see the way he spends money of shareholders at parties, you know he has no remorse. I'm certain that finally, he'll sell out to NTA, Silverbird or some foreign satellite channel. Nepotism won't let that company move forward. |
