There are a lot we seem not to understand or maybe we are interested in focusing on the negatives. There are no develoment without pain and sacrifices all what we nigerians want is to continue getting better things at their comfort zones
First of all the price template was not fashioned by Fashola it was a design from the previous government for an ideal running of the system. If u listened to what BRF said that it was the way it had suppose to be with the price but the last government did not implement it. The Disco recently declared to divest from the buy if the pricing is not improved because they are not making return and it is preventing them in investing more and even exanding as required by the government agreement on them. How can u run a business without making profits? So accordingly the new pricing will now make them stand well in terms of rendering and expanding after a particular time in agreement with the govt.
We only want everything to suit us like oyibo without making any effort like them . When we travel to other developed nations do you realise how much other nations are paying for various taxes that are non existent in nigeria we just like everything free.
Some social service is coming as promised and we are happy but how many are ready to pay for anything just like other nations or do you all complain or refuse to pay if you travel out especially South Africa
Let's compare Nepa to diesel or inverter it is still larger very low so there is a bit of support from the citizenry for our own benefits

I beg to disagree with you. Goodluck Jonathan did not do anything special, he got his behind whopped by the Nigerian Electorate, tired of him and his thieving Cabal, and he respectfully did the RIGHT thing by handing over to the Winner.

Nigeria is still a Democratic Country, and there is nothing special if a "LOSER" passes on the BATON of Power to the "WINNER".

In 2012 I opposed the subsidy removal but I'm a strong advocate of removal now. Why?

In 2012, the subsidy payment was N78 per litre, while the masses paid N65 per litre. Removing subsidy means the masses were to bear the extra load of 78 naira per litre in addition to the N65. That's hardship.... Beside, there was no paliative.

But now, the open market of pms is around N95 per litre. Meaning, government only pay N8 per litre as subsidy. Removing subsidy won't make any difference on the masses.


Hence, Subsidy Must Go!

U need to STFU Mr.
If now the government is only paying N8 per Litre as subsidy, why have the subsidy payment by the government increased recently?
Why is the government groaning over the high cost of subsidy over the last six months?
If the cost of crude has reduced, i think you should tell us why the cost of subsidy has increased so much?
You can do well to give answers Mr Hypocrite.

Since the president and his now supporters believed the the subsidy is a scam, they have no moral right to remove it.
Afterall, that is the only benefit of the common man.
It will be easier for a Carmel to pass through a needle eye than for the buhari administration to remove the subsidy.
You cannot bit the fingers that feed you.
