Cities don't build people Mr. Man.

No wonder u think Ibadan built those igbo men...why not enlist ur tribal men on that list.

Igbos are intelligent people and they create opportunities wherever they go. So,don't think Ibadan built them okay.

ACHEBE travelled to the US and made wave. Okonjo same,Allen Onyeama same.
Rather say, they contributed to the city themselves.

FamilyLagos The Most Expensive City In Nigeria According NBS. by Nice2023(op): 6:42pm On Jul 17, 2023
LAGOS state has overtaken Ondo, kogi and Kwara states as the most expensive state to live. This is as a result of high records of inflation resulting in everything galloping in price.

Consequently, the removal of fuel subsidy has contributed negatively to the situation which made most people groaning on a daily basis.

Cost of food is another problem in the state and many other factors associated to it.

FamilyConsequences Of Marrying A Lazy Man? by Nice2023(op): 1:55pm On Jul 16, 2023
Marrying a lazy man can lead to several potential consequences, including:

1. Imbalanced division of household duties: You may find yourself shouldering the majority of the responsibilities at home, which can become frustrating and exhausting over time.
2. Financial strain: If your partner is lazy and lacks motivation, it could result in underemployment, unemployment, or difficulty maintaining a stable income. This can put financial pressure on you and potentially hinder your shared goals.
3. Lack of personal growth and achievement: Living with a lazy man might make it harder for you to pursue personal and professional aspirations since you may need to constantly support and encourage your partner instead of focusing on your own goals.
4. Relationship dissatisfaction: The lack of effort and motivation from your partner may lead to dissatisfaction in your relationship. Feelings of resentment, frustration, and disappointment may arise due to the imbalance in effort and contribution.
5. Emotional labor: You may find yourself taking on the role of both partners in terms of emotional support, decision-making, and problem-solving. This added burden can be draining and impact your overall well-being.
6. Impact on children: If you have or plan to have children, having a lazy partner can affect their upbringing. It may result in inconsistency, lack of discipline, and set a poor example for them.
7. Difficulty in resolving conflicts: Communication and conflict resolution can become challenging when one partner lacks motivation and fails to engage in productive discussions. This can lead to unresolved issues and strain the relationship further.

Remember, these consequences may not be universal and can vary based on individual circumstances. Open and honest communication is crucial to address these issues in your relationship.

PoliticsRe: Why Are Southeast Governors Underperforming? by Nice2023(m): 11:01am On Jul 15, 2023
AntiTerrorist:
I wish to know the reason why governors (past and present) from south eastern part of the country are not performing like their counterparts in other parts of the country? As corrupt as Ganduje and Aregbesola are, their legacies can in Kano and Osun States respectfully can not be easily erased. If Igbo governors are working like Makinde of Oyo State or Nyesom Wike of Rivers States, I believe igbo's migration to other regions will be minimal. When a place is not conducive and comfortable for economic growth, people will definitely leave for where there is greater chance to succeed.

It is only in SE you will see a governor inviting Mr president to commission gutter, statue and other ridiculous projects. This is why they lack acceptance and support from there own people. SE politicians are the most wanted and the least respected by their own people. I learnt Hope Uzondinma out of fear has completely relocated to Abuja.

In southeast, they have 'professionals' as governors but I'm yet to see the impact of their professionalism apart from noise from some hired online praise singers. Inability of Igbos to flourish in their land has made them vulnerable to ridicule and disrespect from tribalists in other parts of the country. Things must not continue like this.

The current southeast governors must come together and provide an enabling environment for their citizens to prosper. Enough is enough.
As bad as Ikpeazu is,he is still better than Ondo,Ekiti and Ogun states governors combined.

Sirmuel1:
450k is huge, especially in this country.

My advice is for you to learn how to save.

Cut down your expenses, don’t spend recklessly, don’t compete with co-workers and don’t try to impress anybody (including women).

Rent an affordable apartment, start up a business.

(Don’t start building any house immediately, because it’s a liability). It will only tie your wealth in one spot.

Imagine building a house with 30-50m in Lagos, only to get at least 2m yearly as a rent. How long will it take to get back the capitalhuh

A House is a long term investment + retirement plan.

Start a business first!
Are u serious?

How how pls.
