goldbim:We dey call that kind style "comot your head make I see pastor". |
KEZDON:No, not "jolliment" but "jollification". Lol! |
GenAnsahCinC:There is nothing like High Court more preferred. So long as the military did not specify the particular court, Customary Court is as competent as any other court whatsoever to administer the affidavit. |
emmanuelreal:As a lawyer, let me give u a candid answer: Whether Customay Court or Supreme Court, it does not matter, provided it is a court recognized by law and it gives a binding decision. Customary Court is competent enough to give a decision that will bind even the President of the country himself. So long as the military did not specify the partcular court in which the affidavit must be sworn, the customary court is as competent as any other court where the affidavit can be sworn. What matters most is that the affidavit must be sworn to before a Commissioner of Oath who must append his signature and stamp. So my dear relax. No institution, agency, parastatal or any organisation whatsoever can reject such an affidavit. |
Olukokosir:That is one thing with nairaland. They will not give you fair hearing or even tell you your offence before banning u. That is injustice and it is so bad. |
NewNigeriaMind:Wel, I'v said it b4 & I wl keep sayng it: U AR A SATANIC&CHRONIC NFA. If ur family can eva in their lifetym produce some1 lyk me, call de whole world 2 celebrate wit u |
NewNigeriaMind:Hahahahahahahahaha! this mumu has come again oo! U should better have time for me, let me render u useless. Do u think am a hopeless begger like u? As I hav told u before, at my age am already a post graduate degree holder. I hav a very nice job, living very fine & sponsoring my siblings in higher institutions. As for my parents, they lack nothing because they hav good financial foundation and they are doing very well in their career, unlike ur hopeless parents whom am sure are nothing but beggers & destitutes & they cannot even boast of paltry N50000 in a month. As for my grade, I made over 4.00 both in my first degree and post graduate degree. Of course u should know dat is a very strong 2.1. As for u, am sure u narrowly escaped 3rd class. FOOL. |
Armaggedon:My good brother, pls help me educate them. Am baffled at the level of ignorance & illiteracy my fellow NL are shamelessly displaying here. Common sense and understanding, they dont have. Most of them cant even express themselves in good english. A primary one pupil cannot even commit the kind of grammatical blunder this bunch of uncivilized tribal bigots are committing. These ar people who hav wasted their parents' hard earned money acquiring western education. Yet, they hav nothng to show for it. Just look at the kind of rude & hate coment they are making due to their lack of understanding of simple english. Yet they still call themselves graduates evn when they cant be differentiated 4rm de people at de stone age. |
NewNigeriaMind:Ignorance is the worst disease on earth. It is worse and deadlier than AIDS. Some so-called "educated" persons are nothing but common local champions who have never travelled of their State of origin or even their village. But they are very good at hearsay talk which can easily be discarded for being baseless, useless & unreasonable. It will take more than 5 centuries for such people to get out of their foolishness & ignorance. And the worst of it is that no matter how highly "educated" they may be, ethnocentrism, tribalism & stupidity will forever be their life companions. |
dirtymoney:Who on earth is the bitch that told u that fat lie? Where did u manufacture that false and misleading information from? Did u read the intructions and guidelines at all before applying? If at all u read it, didnt u see where it was clearly written that applicants must be between 22 & 35 yrs? Did it mention any specific discpline? No, not at all. However, Medical consultants who are above 35 yrs but not more than 40 yrs may be considered just as the Army is doing. So stop misleading people with the false and baseless information u got from the cocroach hiding at the back of ur cupboard. |
grayht:Very good & interesting question. I was about asking the same question just before I saw yours. |
I have always said it and I will keep saying it that the Nigeria Police is a BIG disgrace to humanity. To me, their slogan should be: "To kill and destroy with impunity and illiteracy". Bunch of fools! |
Many a times we just use our own hands to strangle our destiny, just like mimzy wrote, who succeeds without taking a chance? People are getting this on merits year in year out, so please if u feel like not enrolling no more, fine, but stop coming up with lame and ignorant excuses to dissuade others. It is wicked[/quote]I am sure ur problem is misunderstanding. Point of correction: no one is dissuading anybody. It is all about a matter of choice. And pls dont feign ignorance of what is obtainabl in Nigeria today. De fact dat som of ur friends merited it doesnt mean dat it was only them dat merited it. There are many others who equaly merited it but they were screened out in order to accommodate those on Ministers, Senators, House of Rep Members, etc lists even when they did not merit it. That is exactly what we are talking about. But it seems u lack basic understanding to appreciate dat simple but true fact. We ar in a country where corruption is the order of de day. Pls dont feign ignorance of that fact ok. |
Philadelphia:My dear we are NOT talking about grammar here but we are talking about reality. Though he may be grammatically wrong but communicatively, he is absolutely correct. He is saying what is real and there is no doubt about that. Take it or u leave it, he has spoken the bitter truth. So, there is really NO need finding fault in his grammar. |
projet:The attestation/reference form is one of the forms u will see when u click on "continue application". There are about four or five of them (your aplication status notification inclusive). There is no need for downloading them because there is no option for download. Rather, once u click on any of the forms, it will open and immediately bring out an option for u to print. But mind u, one of the forms listed there appears to in pdf format but it is not opening. And I think that one seems to be a mere repeatition of one of the forms. So don!t bother urself about that one. |
judeck:It is true that SSC is not as restrictive as DSSC. Maybe people are not applying because their minds are still preoccupied with NAF DSSC application that came out first and the screening that is now onging. That is what I think may be one of the reasons. |
projet:Login again with your login details. Then look out for the place they wrote "continue application". Click on it and then wait for it to bring out all the forms. Then click them one after the other to open for u to view them. |
judeck:To me, de simple reason is that the NA DSSC is so restrictive. Very few professions ar listed & some of de listed ones ar those that people usually refuse to study in higher institutions, and an applicant under any of the professions MUST be a duly registered & certified member of dat profession & must hav evidence of it & a practicing licence. Which means dat being just a graduate of any of de disciplines listed is NOT enough but u must be duly certified & registered as a bonafide member of dat profession. Take for instance, a University Law graduate who has not gone to Law School & get called to the Bar is not even qualified to apply under DSSC. Even if the applicant has gone to Law School and get called to the Bar, he is still not yet qualified unless he/she has practised Law for at least two years. This is totally unlike NAF dat gave room for graduates of many disciplines to apply under DSSC. |
obbasiasa:Gbam! Bros u are absolutely correct. |
mimzy007:As a Legal Practitioner, let me give my own candid opinion on this. Of course in ordinary English parlance, 'should', in most cases, is the past tense of 'shall' just as 'would' is the past tense of 'will'. So, in Law, 'should' is interpreted to mean 'shall' and 'shall' is interpreted to mean 'must'. So whenever a Law or an Instruction or a Rule makes use of the word 'should' or 'shall', it means that a person MUST do what is required. It is compulsory or mandatory. No room for discretion at all. It must be interpreted literally. But where the word 'may' is used, it means it is NOT compulsory. There is room for discretion & it can be interpreted liberally. So Mimzy u are actually correct & I hereby give 95% for ur excellent interpretation of the two words. |
Nwanna2588:You are very very correct. Ebonyi had the longest queue yesterday being 2nd May. In fact, Ebonyi's queue was two times longer than the second longest queue. |
Nwosukc22:They are not even strict about all those ones. What they do mostly is height measurement and checking of credentials. |
Muhyy:They will only measure your height and then check ur documents for verification. That is all. It does not even take time unless u have one issue or the other. They were not even strict about the attestation forms. |
guynupe:I did mine in Lagos on 2nd May. They are NOT collecting any photocopy. In fact, they said it repeatedly that no photocopy is required now & people should not waste their money photocopying 'nonsense'. Confirm 4rm those dat did on 2nd May. |
WildOne:Although I am based in Lagos and am there now, but I can help u because I know Enugu very well. Now when u board a bus from Asaba or Awka to Enugu, drop at their final bus stop at Old park or Holy Ghost. When u get there, board another bus (town service bus - usually N70 or at most N100) going to Emene or Ekeobi n'agu. But tell the driver or the conductor to drop u at Air Force junction (before Abakpa junction). Once u drop there, u will see the gate by the road side. It is very close, in fact almost opposite to the popular 82 Division, Enugu that u usually hear of. Good Luck to u. |
Chukz1010:MMIA is very close to the Air Force base. From the MMIA, ask people to direct u to National bus stop or Airport junction bus stop (both along Agege Motor Road). When u get there, board a bus going to Oshodi but drop at PWD bus stop. Once u drop at PWD bus stop, look beside u, u will see the Air Force base there. It is usually N50 from National bus stop or Airport junction bus stop to there. |
kellyboo:Sorry my dear but u got it wrong. They said an Air Force Officer not below the rank of a Squadron Leader OR it's equivalent. The Army equivalent is a Major, while the Navy equivalent is a Lt Commander. Therefore, a Major in the Army is competent to sign the attestation form or even issue the attestation letter of good character. Pls check very well to confirm it. |
Adriankris:There is really NO need for the Age Declaration since u already have ur birth certificate. This is because one serves as an alternative to the other. The two cannot be accepted at the same time. So dont waste ur money going to court to do the age declaration when ur birth certificate is available. It is either Age Declaration OR Birth Certificate. |
philipciveng:What it means is that if ur Age Declaration bears a date in 2012 or any date prior to or before 2012, u are ok & it will be accepted. But if it bears a date after 2012 (i.e 2013 till date) it will not be accepted because it is short of 4 years. My own bears a date in February 2004 i.e 12 years ago. So I have no problem with that. |
philipciveng:Sorry, it is not age declaration earlier than 4 years but one later than 4 years that is NOT acceptable |
solid3:My friend what the nonsense are u talking about? Did u read the story at all? Or is ur problem lack of understand? Are u educated at all? May be u should go back to elementary 1 and start reading Understanding English 1. |
I just pity whoever sits behind this kind of woman in a party or in church..just know you'l have neck sprain that day..Iya onile gogoro
