Luiz should have been sent off twice sef.. ![]() |
German Efficiency is a fearsome thing when it gets going. No wonder it took the whole world to stop them in 1945 These people were made by skynet. As close to robots as humanly possible. |
The sad thing is that these bastard Germans no even get pity. Them still wan score ![]() See how all of them dey rush to take freekick |
I see why Dante has not been allowed near that pitch till Thiago Silva's suspension. The Germans must have been licking their lips when they saw his name on the teamsheet. So na so the guy dey chop am for training ground.... ![]() |
Abeg wetin dey happen for here? This na live game or highlights? ![]() |
Second Muller assist sef |
ElGuapo: It's embarrasing to see some Chelsea fans share in the pack of shyte claim that Hazard is all about flash.Based on what exactly? What criteria? Muller had more goals and assists than Hazard last season Muller has won more trophies Muller can play as a striker and play anywhere in the midfield Muller has been doing the business home away and international What is hazard's claim to fame? Muller has already copped a goal and assist today against Brazil and 1st half never even finish |
PietroRico: better performer, yes. Because he is a little more consistent. NOTHING MORE.Abeg mechionu there bros. Di Maria nothing Special? So who is now special? I was reading the article below just this morning....it explains why Di Maria is up for sale. Angel di María must have thought that he had done enough to win the heart and mind of grumpy-faced Florentino Pérez at Real Madrid. A season that saw the Argentinean as the most important performer with 17 league assists and five in the Champions League would surely have put an end to all stories in the papers every summer that the ever-expendable winger was going to be sold off to fund the importation of the latest glamourous face to pop-up on the club president's TV screen.http://www.football365.com/spanish-thing/9374194/Angel-Di-Maria-Just-Looking-To-Be-Loved... |
shymexx: I believe real hip-hop heads will always be real hip-hop heads regardless of where they were born and raised. For a lot of Nigerians to know about hip-hop, most must have been raised by the culture, and they're core fans of it. So, there should be a core fan-base in the country. Apart from the accent, great music will always be great music. Shyte, most people don't understand Spanish, but they still adore Shakira and Carlos Santana(in that genre).Modenine actually raps with a quasi-American accent. It's hard to take him serious when he does that. I get and agree with your point about hip-hop being no respecter of boundaries, and that's the reason why a lot of us are fans of the American rappers in addition to our local ones. Here in the UK, even on the most american of beats, mandem are still chatting about road, food, straps, shanks, jakes, snakes, endz and ting....You listen to any british rapper and you know exactly where he's from. Except for Krept and Konan going Trap - Trap is synonymous to southern rap. It's a regional thing. Modenine's rap has very little cultural markers to identify him as Nigerian. And that's my point, Modenine is an American rapper who is not from America and cannot sell there, and raps in a style and subject matter that do not apply in Naija. I dont rate him at all. Can you say Giggs sound fake as well because he single-handedly changed the UK scene, from grime to rapI disgaree with this though. Roots Manuva had been doing hiphop since the 90s. Talking the hardest didn't change the game in my opinion, as grime was practically finished when Giggs dropped that...Grime top dogs like Dizzie and Kano realized this and had already gone commercial. Argument for another day though. |
shymexx: I was just alluding to the guy most naij folks call the best in naij. And after listening to the guy, I was disappointed. He's pure garbage - I rap better than that guy, and I'm not even a rapper. To be fair, the subject matter and the target audience require a different genre of hiphop. I personally dont believe a born and bred in Naija man can do american style hiphop authentically just as Krept and Konan sound fake on that 'Dont waste my time' quasi-trap tune. Which is why I dont rate Mode9, because the enabling factors and societal environment that birthed american style rap is not the story of Nigeria, and mode9 is as much a real rapper as Wizkid is an Opera tenor |
MadCow1: First off, Boy you needs to chill the fhuck out! You aint aint a Gangster like that..Stop peddling this ignorance. What are the areas covered by conventional poetry that there are no raps about? From ancient history(Nas/Immortal technique/etc) to Social Issues(Nas/Pac/Common/etc) to Comedy(Tyler the creator/eminem) to Horror(Hopsin/etc) to Science(Jay Eletronica), hip-hop covers a very diverse range of subjects. Cos I have no energy to really go into this with you, I will just leave it simple, nas who sang One Mic on the very same Album has "Got yourself a Gun'..Stop trying to shift the goal posts. This was the statement you made: Rap on the other hand is limited in scope of topics covered. I am yet to hear any Rap that talks about the sufferings of the Girl Child, But I have heard my mian Nigga tell his Girls Biitches to pull their panties to the side and work his diick like a lollipop... grinAnd my response was to give you a limited catalogue of songs that infact deal with the said subject matter. Whether or not the rappers I listed have released gangster songs was not in contention. You never heard of songs talking of the suffering of the girl child? Well now you do. My Education is a daily hussle.. You on the other hand need to get off your high horse and understand before you attack.. Just cos you think a certain genre of Hip-Hop is the 'reallest' dont mean shiit.. Geddit!I never explicitly or implicitly said any genre of hip hop was the 'realest' so if you feel I was talking down at you, you must have esteem issues. Your entire argument was predicated on the the ideas that hip hop has a limited subject matter(Which I have proven to be untrue), that you had never heard songs discussing societal ills(Which I have provided), and that you've heard more of gangsta rap(And I have pointed out to you that there are far more genres of rap that you may have realized) Real Hip Hop lives!!! |
MadCow1: Poems are way more vast than Rap music in intellectual content and scope of what they cover. #No Contest. This is just an ignorant assertion especially considering that rap is essentially poetry over an instrumental.. Rap on the other hand is limited in scope of topics covered. I am yet to hear any Rap that talks about the sufferings of the Girl Child, But I have heard my mian Nigga tell hisMore ignorance.... 2pac's classics Brenda's Got A Baby and Keep Ya Head Up immediately rubbish your assertions. Kendrick Lamar's Keisha's Song, J.Cole's Crooked Smile are a few songs from the golden era and current era of hip hop that come to mind. Yup! I have heard rap talk more about Guns and not snitching in the hood and hating on Police and other such stuff ad even talk about going to jail like Jail was the new Marriots Hotel for street Niggas.Gangsta rap is just one genre of rap just as Metal is just a genre of Rock music. Gangsta rap offers a commentary and an inside view of the reality of life on the streets for many negroes in the western world. That life is something that you may not be able to relate to, but it is an essential form of communication for so many blacks in the US/UK in the same way as Fuji/Apala is essential to many real street niggas in south western Nigeria today. You dont have to listen to Gangsta rap if you dont want to. Infact some of the biggest names in Rap have spoken against the gangsta ideals and tried to encourage street niggas to change. 2pac -I aint mad at ya/Changes, Nas - Not going back/Rewind,Dre -The Watcher(in a contrived way admittedly) Practically any Public Enemy Song, Common -War, Kendrick Lamar - MAAD City/Art of Peer Pressure, Eminem -When the music stops/Toy Soldiers are just a few songs off the top that I can list right now. You need to educate yourself before misyarning all over the internet. Hip-Hop lives!!! |
gsalvatore: Hip-hop? You mean the Bastard son of Jazz/Classicals?Smoking Aces 2 |
There are different aspects of heaven and hell...and just as tourists to Lagos might only see a side of the city and not the full picture, the spiritual tourists are also visiting different parts of heaven/hell. Given that both places are built to house hundreds of millions of souls, you don't expect 1 man to use his eyes to see everything at once..... |
Back in the day, we dey carry Ababio into the exam hall. No time to wait for teacher to solve jack. We do our own stunts. ![]() |

Seun lacks professional ethics... From failing to implement adequate disaster recovery to mitigate against the crash, to his lack of communication to his stakeholders during the crash, to modifying usernames without prior warning or explanation after the crash His disclaimer at the bottom states that every Nairaland member is solely responsible for whatever he uploads to the site. I'm not a lawyer, but I think an argument could be made that since Seun's disclaimer clearly mandates that each user is solely liable for his uploads which would include posts, pictures, AND the USERNAME, his unwarranted modification of usernames with prior permission from its owners is an infringement on their intellectual property rights. Seun is a disgrace to his paying and non paying customers, and even his own mod has come our to question his reckless behaviour. Given his dictatorial tendencies though, I won't be surprised if he came and hid this post. |
I also remember saying I lived in stonebridge sometime later, and you said you knew some yutes in st Ralph's. Shymex don't lie...you are roadman |
Oh I know the difference between ygs and pbs/opbs just like I know sneak is/was gas and not oc proper. I agree that the whole beef thing seems to have calmed down a bit since the old days...but there's still a fair bit on. Sneakbo for example seems to have beefed with every1 in london, the he went and did that tune with chipmunk " if I'm rolling up north, I'm rolling with chichi" ![]() Like chip could save him from getting touched. ![]() Anyway I'm sure you've said you were a yg bout 2years ago. I belled you on it. Remember? ![]() |
A supposed yg propsing oc mandem? You sneaky fooker ![]() |
My God! What were the criteria used in selecting the respective regional representatives at that conference? I don't think intelligence was one of them. For future reference, I suggest that IQ testing and full psychiatric evaluations should be carried out on potential regional reps. An SNC is looking more inevitable by the day, and I don't want any of these clearly insane modafookers representing me at that historic event. |
Hahahahaha You mean he got dissed by the same paper he wrote an editorial in? ![]() Olololo |
![]() What a waste! I wonder what Keshi's cut out of that 168 mill will be, as I dont think anybody at glass house actually believes that Keshi's limited tactical knowledge should be rewarded with all that money. Probably 50:50 cut with Amodu Shuaibu |
heywhytech1: See yourself, but if this is done in an Islamic state against Christians, you won't say this trash. Why can't some people reason with their brain, it's painful if at this age people can't still understand what freedom means . China is not a region Country like Nigeria that hosts the highest number of religion centre yet 99% of her people are corrupts, the only Country where corruption is different from stealing . China Govt are inviting religious violenceOya go and be violent in China na? Your bullet ridden carcass will be used to make sweet and sour soup ![]() The major hotbeds of Islamic religious violence are MUSLIM countries anyway...so it shows you Muslims don't need an excuse to be violent...it's natural for them. |
Gentlemimi2: @ DemdemLmao 'her firm support of her husband' is an 'achievement'? Oh Jesus!!! ![]() And how has she 'empowered more women to take up political office'? And Who are these 'empowered women'? |
almujahidy: You are so harsh in words usage. Does your religion teach you that? In fact what you just said about Islam portrays a crystal clarity of paucity in your thinking and knowledge. I urge you to make a poison-free research of things before concluding. Is Islam not a cancer? |
ramalot: Religion will always remain a major problem in the world.Negro please take your pontificating elsewhere. Go to Saudi Arabia, or anywhere else in the Middle East where churches are not allowed, and conversion from Islam carries the death penalty and tell them all this story. Islamic countries are some of the most oppressive in the world where non-Muslims have no human rights...go and preach to them! |
tbaba1234: What is this??My friend stop beating around the bush. Your argument that the 2014 squad was largely inexperienced compared to 1994 is redundant because none of the class of 94 had ever appeared in the World Cup. Your argument that the class of 94 was superior to the class of 2014 based on Fifa ranking is redundant because 1.) Fifa ranking was barely a year old at the time and (2.) Nigeria got a head start in the rankings by winning the CAN earlier in the year. Considering the calculations for Fifa Rankings have been revised twice since it's introduction on account of being too simplistic and inaccurate, it is fair to say that if we were to apply the 94 fifa ranking coefficients to this 2014 squad, Nigeria would be ranked much much higher than they are now Your argument that the class of 94 were regular starters for their clubs is redundant because the majority of the 1st team squad in 2014 are regular starters for their respective clubs. Moreover the class of 94 had the likes of peter Rufai who was a 2nd choice keeper at his club and Emenalo who was unattached. A lot of the class of 94 had only just recently moved to Europe, while the class of 2014 have been playing at the top level for years and boast several players who have won league titles in thier respective leagues. Your argument that Omeruo plays for Middlesborough on loan is redundant as majority of the class of 94 played in the Belgian league which inferior even by the standards of that era. Your argument that we lacked depth is an indictment of Stephen Keshi's cognitive reasoning...afterall he's the one that dropped MBA for Reuben, Joel Obi for Nwofor, and IK Uche for Ameobi There is no denying it, class of 2014 is far more experienced, and far more exposed to top level football than class of 94, So thier failure to surpass that legendary squad is an aberration and a disgrace. |
tbaba1234: In 1994, the difference between the top leagues and the rest were not so pronounced. You keep jumping from pillar to post...now it's no longer fifa ranking but World Cup debutant? Can you name 1 player in the 94 squad that had previous World Cup Experience? ![]() The only Bench Warmer in the 1st team lineup this year was Moses. Every other player was a regular starter at his club. Mikel was a squad player last season though, but made regular appearances. Most of the squad playing in Europe's top leagues. Oya what's the next excuse? |
tbaba1234: What was the ranking of 1994 team going into. USA 94??This is why I said you're very naive when it comes to football. Fifa rankings were introduced in August 93 You don't expect a system that was barely a year old to be an accurate representation of team strength. For your info, Norway was ranked No 2 in the world in 1993. Nigeria were African champs in 1993, and with no previous reference for the Fifa ranking, it's not surprising they were ranked that high. |
